20th Oct 2026 (13 days ago)Since May 2026 I have rented an apartment that is part of a large 1900s building. In summary from my 1st viewing, items that were going to be fixed prior to tenancy were never fixed. Lots of emails/photos communication but did not result in any action by Reed/ Landlord. Ongoing saga and my recommendation is to avoid as there are far better letting agents in the marketplace. The new rental laws from 1st May allow walking away with 2 months notice which is a great step forward.
20th Oct 2026 (13 days ago)Been with this company 10 years pay them a fee joint 2017 and in 2023 i got a letter saying you owe 20 grabd for council tax the first tenant owed over a grand to council and i ended up paying that coz debr collectors came banging on the door.i told bobby i shudnt be liable he goes oh u win some u loose some i pay them a fee every month to get a service its not like im gambling .lately my payments not been on time so now iv got bad credit coz they never zrnt my rental mony to pay my loan.i never had this problem when suki eas working at love yr post code she was so good alwayz asked my permision if i wanted something fixing and alwayz provided plumber recpiets shr was so fast and promt and her calculations were always correct im very disapointed in the service im getting

6th Oct 2026 (27 days ago)Overall I was satisfied with the service as Henley Charles sold my property relatively quickly. I was less impressed with the initial valuation which I felt was inflated. The property eventually sold for £30k less than the valuation they provided. Communication on the whole was good when I could get through to them but there were times when the phone just rang out. I feel a dedicated receptionist would be helpful to alleviate these issues. The team members were all personable and knowledgeable. I would recommend Henley Charles to others as their fees are reasonable and the after sales process was very good indeed.

Nicole did everything she could to help me over this very difficult time. She was kind, efficient and extremely conscientious; she instantly understood the difficulty and contacted the people concerned immediately, dealing with them with impressive tact and diplomacy whilst ensuring the best result for me that she could.<br><br>I am extremely thankful to Nicole for dealing with this with such thoroughness, honesty and integrity which nowadays is quite rare.<br><br>I cannot recommend Nicole and the lettings department highly enough to anyone who requires property management or is a prospective tenant.
30th Sep 2026 (5 weeks ago)This is the first estate agent I have ever rented with that I would actively and enthusiastically recommend to other people. At every stage the team have been both professional and personable. Over the 3 years I rented my flat, I found myself pleasantly surprised many a time by handling situations with care for myself and my partner as well as their responsibilities in managing the flat on behalf of our late landlord.<br>I feel like it shouldn't be so rare to find such a genuinely excellent all-round agency like this. Regardless, I can promise you this unicorn is real!<br>Many thanks to Charlotte who handled our end of tenancy inspection expertly and with a couple shared laughs.

THE 5 STAR REVIEWS ARE FAKE AND FORCED.<br><br>SOPHIE ADAMS is one of the most useless employee at this agency. you won’t get your deposit back at the end of your tenancy. our house was inhabitable and mouldy. We moved in and no form of cleaning was done even though they supposedly sent cleaners. Pests everywhere(spiders, silverfish, insects). We sent emails and everything and considering how ridiculously expensive rent was, they didn’t even try reduce rent or provide us with an adequate alternative housing. If not for the new law allowing 2 months notice, we would have escalated this to the council. This agency is so quick to take your money but the minute there’s an issue, they will ignore your calls and won’t help (yes they recognise your number and place you on hold just for their ai to answer and tell you no available agent). Stupid company.

Several emails, including those sent during my tenancy, went unanswered. On one occasion, they promised to resolve an outstanding request within a specified timeframe but failed to do so. Repeated telephone calls also went unanswered.<br><br>Overall, my experience with their responsiveness and fulfilment of commitments has been far from satisfactory.

They would book in viewings without even liaising with us which meant bookings got cancelled and prospective buyers annoyed and frustrated. Removed from market with Oakmans due to the amount of viewings we have was very small. Never received feedback after viewings.

We really appreciated the team's efforts in keeping everyone updated, chasing progress and helping to move things forward whenever issues came up.<br><br>Communication was always important to us, and we felt the team genuinely cared about getting the sale across the finish line.<br><br>A big thank you to everyone at Oakman for helping us successfully complete our sale!
