28th Nov 2022 (1 year ago)Charged far too much for maintenance jobs and then not done properly. Con artists trying always to get your money. Maintenance jobs are made up to make money from you and then use masking tape to fix things. Would not recommend
27th Jun 2024 (30 days ago)The recent sale of my father's flat was a wonderful experience thanks to Ben Woollams and the team at Richard Harding. Every step was well organised and promptly executed, and there was constant communication about how things were going. They were able to find committed buyers at very short notice, and we were able to complete the sale smoothly and quickly. I'll be recommending them to friends and family without hesitation.

3rd Jun 2024 (8 weeks ago)Valued to high at start even though I said to lower from start then after a short while was told should lower, then another agent said lower again not knowing it had been recently. Seemed no one was talking with each other. Felt very unprofessional and I had no confidence. No one took ownership of sale felt once had house on there books wasn’t interested. Agents always arrived at the time of viewing and viewers waiting, one was late and I had to talk things through whilst viewer waited outside on drive as agent knew nothing about house asked me questions like would I take an offer, etc.. things he should have known. When I have had a moan about various things the agents have ran down there own agents, very unprofessional I felt I was doing the viewing, after I had been told Ben was doing the viewing a person who I actually trusted and built an understanding sent someone else (who was awful ) as Ben was taking on another property again the feeling that once house was on books didn’t really matte just a numbers game. Now I have excepted an offer 5-6 weeks ago have received no correspondence what so ever I keep chasing only getting back a few updated emails which I find have the vibe that I’m annoying them. I understand these things can take a while but in 5 weeks at least a contract of sale should be received, last time I sold it with another agent the contract of sale, surveyor etc had been round within 2 weeks I could go on and believe me I’m not normally one to complain but this experience has been quite painful

We have moved very many times nationally and internationally and sold several times before and AJ Homes are simply the best estate agent we have ever worked with. They are unsurpassed for their knowledge of estate agency and know the Bristol area so very well, with an established network of connections with professionals, sellers and buyers. An absolute joy to work with, they always operate with complete integrity and discretion, respecting the privacy of both buyer and seller. Furthermore, you never hear them disparaging their competition which others did and for me demonstrated that when you have to do that, you must know you’ve already lost the game. I highly recommend AJ Homes, having met with half a dozen estate agents locally, finding only one or two who even came close to offering the same exceptional future positive service.
16th May 2023 (1 year ago)Having checked several alternative Estate Agents initially, Andrews at Winterbourne were the most professional in their presentation of what service they would provide. Stewart Banwell and his team were helpful throughout the sales journey, communication was always effective and prompt. The whole team instilled me with confidence that they were working with my best interest as a priority. I was selling due to family heath issues so was quite an emotional experience for me which was eased by Stewarts kindness. I would recommend Andrews to any potential sellers without hesitation
6th Jul 2024 (21 days ago)I really good time buying from DW estate agents as a first time buyer. From the first viewing to handing over the keys. Sarah and her team, where amazing. They even helped me out with a couple of queries after the purchase completed. Highly professional, friendly and really genuine nice group of people. I highly recommend this estate agents! One of the best in Bristol!

Incompetent, disrespectful of people’s time and belongings as well as their personal data, which they willingly share with their contractors without prior asking for permission. Great at downplaying all the issues and same goes for their in house complaint process, clearly have a hard time admitting fault. Condescending and patronising whenever issues are brought up and then surprised we stopped bothering reporting anything (those things mentioned were never addressed). Kate at lettings acts like she owns the place, the one time I had to do an inspection with her she would start touching my belongings without asking, I had to physically remove myself from the property for any future inspections to avoid her causing me another anxiety attack. If it wasn’t brought up at the end of our tenancy, where she „apologised”, she wouldn’t have done otherwise as she lacks any self awareness. Mary, who reviewed the complaint did her best to undermine my concerns and the general response was „it wasn’t that bad, you could have moved out earlier”. Appalling attitude. What is mentioned in the review is just a tip of the iceberg, as they will probably try and respond in a selective way :)

Their services can at best be described as fraudulent. I still maintain and do reiterate my stance that the operation at lifestyle can best be described as fraudulent, owing to major facts, when we contacted you it was concerning another property located at Bradley stoke which you cleverly told us had been taken and beguild us into going for the property at Pill, only for us to find out weeks later that the one at Bradley stoke was still on the market by which time we had committed ourselves to the one at Pill. You ensured there was no physical viewing of the property and pressurised us into paying the Holding deposit just with the Online video. The property in question was apparently only superficially renovated, otherwise how do you explain the growth of moulds on walls and ceilings barely a week after moving into a property. The roof was constantly Leaking water and walls driping with water, we notified you of this only for us to get an eviction notice few weeks afterwards, nobody came down to check what was wrong or even show any duty of care. It is honestly not to your credit that you admit to have being in operation for 30yrs with this kind of service. Apparently you took advantage of the fact that we are new immigrants and used our vulnerability as an opportunity to exploit us. The height of it is receiving Council tax bill for the said property, a few weeks ago stating payment of two months post our evacuation of the property that needs to be paid. We have been living in another property for over a year now, and we have had no cause to complain about anything, inspite of that the landlord regularly checks to know if there are any concerns or anything that might need immediate attention. Who would not want to remain with such a landlord.

4th Jul 2024 (23 days ago)Chase Buchanan are a new business but not new to the industry, we first met with Alex and set expectations, Alex was honest and realistic with no boring sales talk. We marketed the house and then Michelle took over on viewings, Michelle sold the house within two vieiwngs and less then 4 days for full asking price. Some houses in our area with other estate agents have been on the market months, with reductions in asking. Alex, Michele and the team at chase Buchanan are excellent, won’t take them long to become the number one estate agents in downend.
