4th Dec 2021 (3 years ago)Emma from the Chelmsford office has been fantastic from the first meeting we had when we viewed a new build home. She clearly knew the market and the area to give us the best guidance to put in a successful offer on our new home. The building site was very restricted for additional viewings, but Emma was very cooperative for us to gain access, and for trades to arrange dates with her to measure up. Invaluable for us to have a successful and easy move. Thank you Emma, you really did make the difference to our purchase.

29th Mar 2025 (27 days ago)A really good experience dealing with Beresford Maldon, especially Olivia who showed amazing perseverance in our roller coaster of a purchase. Never had to chase as everything was being dealt with before we needed to ask questions. The whole team in Maldon are so lovely it's nice to have a positive experience with an Estate agent.

The house then sold to someone else purely because their communication is non existent. If you are going to buy/sell a house with them. Don't bother, they do nothing for you

With excellent communication and reassurance from start to finish, not just for us but our buyers too and a listing that showed our house to its best potential. Chris is very approachable and efficient. I would definitely use Chris again and would recommend him to family and friends! Even now after exchanging Chris is always around for any queries I have had. Thanks for all your help Chris and making the process as easy as possible :)

I especially want to mention Jo for her great customer service during the valuation and sale of my property, and Callum who was helpful and friendly when showing me around properties. The marketing for my property was fantastic - really liked virtual tour! WhatsApp makes communication quick and easy. Highly recommend the Amos Hockley team!
9th Apr 2025 (16 days ago)The whole team at SJ Warren were a delight to work with. This was our First house purchase which didn't come without it's hurdles (I'm sure they all do). Simon provided prompt support when needed, Lauren was also extremely efficient when providing prompt response. Special thanks goes out to Lorraine who kept us abreast of all incoming updates every step of the way; easing our mind and smoothing the process with her dilligent support. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend SJ Warren for your house buying/selling Journey.

31st Oct 2024 (25 weeks ago)Real world scammers for tenants as they act to be polite at the start but then throughout your tenancy they don’t help and drag issues for months and months, they don’t take care about tenants as they issued the notice to leave just 20 days before our renewal date and charged an insane amount of 750£ even though the property was kept well and clean. So I would really recommend to avoid them if you don’t want to suffer through out your tenancy.
18th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

The team did a great job on the listing, being so flexible and helpful when we were in a difficult situation, and the sales progression team really helped keep things on track with the entire chain whilst giving us frequent updates. We really noticed the level of expertise, professionalism and genuine commitment to acting in our interests. Would highly recommend.

Craig and his team were superb throughout , making sure that all issues were resolved and ensuring that all our chain managed to complete on the required day. I definitely recommend Fine and Country for purchases in this area.
