8th Feb 2026 (5 days ago)Buyer beware. This agency plays games with buyers. We made an offer on a property for the first time and waited a full month for a response, while they kept blaming the seller for the delay. During this time, the house was still advertised online. After six weeks, the property came back on the market, so we submitted another offer. We were given hope that the house would be ours. They pushed us to agree to using their recommended solicitor and even suggested that using their agency to sell our own property would help us secure the deal. We agreed to everything in good faith. Despite this, they continued showing the property to other buyers. They deliberately dragged the process out, kept us as a backup option, and after two months of stress and uncertainty, they sold the house to someone else. As foreign buyers, we were ultimately left without the property, despite fully cooperating and meeting all their requirements. We genuinely felt we were treated as a safety net rather than serious buyers. This experience was extremely stressful, disappointing, and unfair. Avoid this agency. unprofessional and not recommended.

Christine Sorrell kept us informed all the way with the referencing, etc and was very informative and friendly. Excellent service yet again from the whole team - thanks guys!
15th Jan 2026 (29 days ago)I am not one given to writing reviews good or bad, but felt I had to take few moments to express my gratitude to Intercounty Saffron Walden & in particular, Karen Johnson. We had a very bumpy ride with my purchase of a property, but with fantastic communication, professional expediency, coupled with a faith that it would eventually happen, we got there. I cannot thank them enough for their patience. I wouldn't hesitate in using this agency for any further selling/ purchasing, or letting needs.

The staff did a great job of keeping the vendors informed about the reasons for the delay in my sale and ensured they stuck with me. Calls and queries were always answered promptly. Excellent service all round.

From start to finish, the process was handled professionally, efficiently, and with excellent communication throughout. Exchanging and progressing to completion in under a month was impressive, and their support and responsiveness made everything feel smooth and stress-free. They were always helpful, clear, and proactive. I’m very grateful for all their assistance and would highly recommend Clarknewman to anyone looking for a reliable and friendly local estate agent. 25th Nov 2025 (11 weeks ago)We have used Kings Property in the past finding tenants for our rental property but this was the first time we had used their services for sales. Again, the service that we received from James, Tracy, Callum and the team was excellent. After perseverance from them, a buyer was found! The after sales service was great - we were kept up to date with everything and the minor hiccups were sorted out quickly by James enabling the sale to proceed to completion. We wouldn't hesitate in recommending Kings Property to any vendors or landlords. Thanks guys!
