22nd Apr 2025 (2 days ago)Going back a few weeks now, I recieved a very professional and pleasant viewing, from John Alexander estate agents. On the viewing it self at a property in Colchester. I was completely puzzled, confused, to learn that after chasing up a question I had about the property, I had to eventually call them up my self a week later, and discover that I couldn't even offer on this house, because I was a dependant. ...... why even arrange the viewing in the first place and leave me stranded for a week after? A tad bizarre but thought I'd share this experience publicly. A complete waste of my time in all honesty.

29th Mar 2025 (26 days ago)A really good experience dealing with Beresford Maldon, especially Olivia who showed amazing perseverance in our roller coaster of a purchase. Never had to chase as everything was being dealt with before we needed to ask questions. The whole team in Maldon are so lovely it's nice to have a positive experience with an Estate agent.

18th Nov 2023 (1 year ago)As many people said it earlier they removed all reviews as they were so bad. I can't find my personal one as well. They are still the same bunch of people who will try to rip you off on every single occasion. Please avoid at all cost. There are plenty good agencies out there

Chris is very approachable and efficient. I would definitely use Chris again and would recommend him to family and friends! Even now after exchanging Chris is always around for any queries I have had. Thanks for all your help Chris and making the process as easy as possible :)

The team did a great job on the listing, being so flexible and helpful when we were in a difficult situation, and the sales progression team really helped keep things on track with the entire chain whilst giving us frequent updates. We really noticed the level of expertise, professionalism and genuine commitment to acting in our interests. Would highly recommend.

The sale took longer than expected, and the eventual price achieved was less than forecast. However we acknowledge that this was a property with potential, but requiring considerable modernistion, so would have appealed to a limited audience. Our 5* rating was in no small part due to Amy Lillistone, the Oakheart Sales Progressor, who did a brilliant job "chasing the chain" to ensure that completion was effected before the increase in stamp duty.
