13th May 2024 (11 weeks ago)I didn't even purchase through them and just arranged a viewing. Was such a pleasure to arrange a viewing and kept it so straight forward. Such a breath of fresh air when there are estate agents that take pride in what they do and realise the impact it has on the day to day individuals who are going through a stressful period to secure or sell a house. Thanks Danny, Ruby, and Elliot - getting my flat listed was an absolute breeze, with viewings booked in immediately (and I mean immediately) followed by getting offers within 2 weeks. I was prepared for the listing process to take a couple months at the least, but everything moved at an incredible speed. Danny was able to suggest a listing price that felt realistic and took into account nearby flats of a similar size. Elliot and Craig also deserves a huge shout out for ensuring completion went smoothly in our chain. There were a couple points where I got genuinely concerned at the status of the chain, but they were all on hand to ensure everything kept chugging along and to chase the relevant parties. Would definitely recommend John Alexander as they're priced competitively, are very responsive, and genuinely helpful.
5th Mar 2024 (21 weeks ago)Terrible service from DavidLee, would not recommend them to anyone. Staff were rude and unhelpful and caused unnecessary stress to the sale of my property. Do not use DavidLee if you want a simple transaction to go smoothly!
22nd Jun 2024 (5 weeks ago)Really quick and amazing service from Mel at Fenn Wright yesterday, helping to resolve an urgent problem at my rented house. My water pipe burst under the sink and water was flooding into my kitchen. Mel and the team arranged an emergency plumber to be with me in just 25 mins. Thank you so much for your help and great communication throughout. Really appreciate it!

She is professional with a very friendly manner. She got back to me very promptly with any questions I had that couldn't be answered at the time.

They were beyond understanding and accommodating when things went wrong multiple times and didn't end up getting to view the place before moving in, but I really felt like their work ensured that I wasn't getting any less in terms of service. Thank you especially to Samantha who was so kind and waited for me to get my cat up to Colchester by train after my movers let me down twice. She is such a kind, lovely person to have been in contact with for this, and I wish her all the best!

Efficient, able to think on their feet, and they did everything they said they would do, and very competently. Rebecca and Lauren are superb at their jobs. Can't recommend them highly enough. They have given me complete peace of mind while I live abroad.
