The sales team have been an absolute dream to work with, nothing was too much and was always someone at the end of a call for any information or advice. Everything from start to finish was easy and smooth sailing and clearly explained. As someone who is selling for the first time I had no idea how overwhelming it would be but everyone including Gregg, Jacob, Mel, Will, and Richard took their time to help. Josh their photographer did a fantastic job, and the video was above anything I was expecting, the quality of marketing makes a massive difference and the time he spent focusing on the smallest of details was a credit to his skill. The team give weekly updates as to how the property is doing and plans moving forward which was a nice added touch to the personal feel you get from working with this estate agents. An extra big thank you to Jacob for pushing the sale through and showing off my house in all its glory, it has been a pleasure, thank you! ????

28th Jan 2026 (12 days ago)My experience with Acorn in London is terrible,all they care about is the money ????, they don't care about your property! You pay them for full management service but you have to chase them for inspections! They even short _change you sometimes! I don't recommend! Some of their staff are very rude too!

Holly was on time, answered all our questions we had, she put us at ease ensuring us that the place would be cleaned and any damage would be fixed before my daughter moved in. Demetri progressed the purchase all of the way through; taking just 3 months to complete. He kept us well informed and really kept on top of the communication between solicitors and other estate agents making the whole process quite stress free. Would highly recommend.

Liam was always on the phone trying to resolve the difficulties and was instrumental in progressing my sale to completion. Poor Liam has been through all the highs and lows with me. There are not enough words to express my gratitude to him! The service I received was outstanding for a very competitive rate.

24th Jan 2026 (16 days ago)We have dealt with Andrew a couple of times and knew when we were planning on selling again that we would invite Balgores to quote for our move. As usual Andrew was honest and realistic, he knows the market well and what is achievable. The process was smooth and communication was excellent, photographs of the property were excellent and all of the team at Balgores were on hand to help with any questions. I will definitely consider Balgores, Andrew and his team in the future.

27th Jan 2026 (13 days ago)SHORT VERSION: I would not recommend this agency! We felt poorly represented throughout the sale and when I raised legitimate concerns, Dan told me “he is getting frustrated” and later used my personal circumstances to say that I was “emotional or mistaken”, a remark I found highly inappropriate and borderline discriminatory. Buyers’ requests were regularly prioritised over ours, alternative interest was mishandled and even someone with a personal connection to the buyers was allowed to conduct a second viewing and remained in our group chat until the very end. Don’t be misled by the 5-star reviews (many appear to be from buyers, who naturally have a very different experience) — choose an agent who is professional, respectful and genuinely focused on their sellers’ best interests. DETAILED VERSION: Throughout the transaction we consistently felt poorly represented. Dan initially comes across as relaxed, calm and trustworthy, and we chose to use him because we genuinely like to support local independent businesses but on this occasion, we made a huge mistake. This became clear the moment I raised concerns, at which point his responses became defensive, dismissive, and unprofessional. Whenever I raised issues, they were met with defensiveness rather than acknowledgement. At one point Dan told me he was “getting frustrated,” and later used my personal circumstances to suggest I was being “emotional or mistaken” — a remark I found highly unprofessional and borderline discriminatory, given I am a woman raising valid issues in a professional context. Being told this in connection to my personal situation felt deeply dismissive, carried a sexist and gendered undertone and was highly unprofessional. On top of that, no proper complaints process was offered, instead I was effectively told to take the matter to the Property Ombudsman if they “felt it had any substance.” There were several moments where buyers’ needs seemed to be prioritised over ours. Their requests were pushed through urgently, while our concerns or instructions met resistance. A viewing that could have led to an alternative offer was mishandled and information was disclosed to the other party that caused them to withdraw despite my explicit instruction to proceed. There was also a clear conflict of interest dynamic that was never addressed properly. One of Dan’s employees, who had a personal connection to the buyers, was allowed to conduct a viewing for them and even after I raised concerns about this conflict, she continued to remain in our group chat throughout the process. This did not give us confidence that our interests were being prioritised. When I raised further concerns, no proper complaints process was offered at any point. Instead, I was effectively told to take the matter to the Property Ombudsman if he “felt it had any substance,” which speaks volumes about how client concerns are handled. In the end, any agent can sell a property and many local agents will do so professionally for 1%. The difference is how clients are treated. Based on my experience, I would recommend choosing an agent who acts impartially and respects their sellers throughout the entire process.

31st Jan 2026 (9 days ago)Our experience with Stewart from Presidential was very professional and efficient. He was always available for any questions we had and supported us. However we were not happy with the solicitor recommended by presidential but Stewart liaised with solicitor for a positive resolution. Overall we had excellent customer service and highly recommend.

Throughout the process Kevin kept us updated with clear and timely communications and went above and beyond. Kevin and the team were chasing up solicitors and parties in the chain and doing more than all the other agents put together to ensure that completion happened before Christmas. Anyone thinking of selling should not go anywhere else!
