17th Jan 2022 (2 years ago)Unfortunately, they couldn't find a buyer for my stunning flat themselves and had to enlist an outside estate agent, and had me stump up extra money to help compensate them. So they got it done after the end of the contact term, but it cost me £thousands more. This was after they earlier had asked me to agree to halt showings as demanded by an earlier (lower) offer that I reluctantly accepted. That buyer ended up walking weeks later, wasting precious time that could have been spent finding a real buyer. Estate agents are not your friend. No matter how charming they appear before their engagement contract is signed, once you sign it, they revert to their true mercenary selves, pressuring you to accept offers well below the very valuation they provided, because their only loyalty is to earning their fee. Don't get fooled. Wish I never used this JDW office.

6th Mar 2024 (8 weeks ago)I first met Paul and Tanya when I bought my house, nearly a decade ago. When it came to selling it I didn’t hesitate to contact Clarke Gammon again. In my experience they have always been friendly, polite and professional. If you are like me and appreciate the extra attention to detail then I would recommend using them. Somebody from the team is always available to receive calls and reply to emails promptly. Selling or buying a house is not always plain sailing so you want a good agent like them to help resolve issues efficiently and effectively. I am happy to say that the house I am buying is through them also. Thanks to everybody at the Haslemere office! Tanya was very helpful, all the time she worked on our house sale. Always friendly, prompt with communications and happily to provide helpful advice. It was a shame that she moved to a different job prior to completion. However, this was fine because Paul took over the reigns with the same level of care and attention. Friendly and helpful people that clearly enjoy their job, and it shows. Update on purchase: This will be the third time I have had the good fortune to be using the services of Clarke Gammon Haslemere. In my experience everybody at the Haslemere office has always been top class. This purchase, like any other, has had testing moments but Paul did everything humanly possible to help. Often going beyond what you would expect of an estate agent. Communication and promptness was second to none. Thanks very much and I do hope our paths cross in the future. Although we are very happy with the new house so won’t be moving anytime soon.
26th Mar 2024 (5 weeks ago)From our first meeting with Jon when we were looking for agents to sell our home, it was clear that Hamptons seemed professional and transparent with the service they would provide and costs involved. And, whilst not the cheapest agent on the high street, they have been by far the most efficient and communicative agent we have dealt with over the past 12-yrs with 2 previous sales and buys and a probate sale. Jon and the team have proven to be cohesive and capable, indeed Jon has been an absolute star keeping track of our buyers and of our onward purchase and keeping us informed with regular calls and emails. Estate agents have been the brunt of many a bad word but we can honestly say this has by far and away been the best service we have received on what is after all a significant financial transaction and traumatic experience. We have no hesitation in recommending their services.

I have found the Staff courteous and helpful.- 7th Dec 2022 (1 year ago)We are glad that we chose Hamptons Estate Agents in Alton to sell our property, as from the off they showed that they were professional and prepared to be fully engaged in supporting us through the process. From the initial valuation from Adam, the ultimate professional, to the ongoing chasing and updating by Kathleen, we felt that they could not have done better. Kathleen, in particular, showed great tenacity in dealing with a number of issues, often overcoming the weaknesses of other parties in the chain, due in part to her skill at building relationships. She was so pleasant to deal with and nothing was too much trouble. I am happy to recommend the team at Hamptons.

Passionate about our house, and the area, competitively priced and communicative and reassuring throughout. This combination of things also meant we managed to achieve a higher price than what any of the other agents quoted when choosing a vendor. It really does pay to use somebody who is as passionate about your house/area as you are! Big thanks to the whole team, highly recommended!

They are always so friendly and helpful and it has been a pleasure to deal with them. Julie and Nicky in particular have always been willing to go the extra mile to get things done. I would definitely recommend them.

4th Apr 2023 (1 year ago)We put our flat on the market at a time when the economy was very unstable and the property market rather turbulent but Mitchell & Partners bent over backwards to get us a sale. Izabela was extremely hard-working and always pleasant and easy to communicate with. During the conveyancing process, there were endless delays and complications down the chain but Steve was very willing to help chase up solicitors to keep things moving. Throughout the process, we always felt that Steve and Izabela gave us a lot of their time and attention when we were unsure what to do next or wanted to discuss our options. Izabela even gave us advice while we were negotiating a price for the house we were buying. All in all, we can highly recommend Mitchell & Partners as a reliable, friendly and hard-working estate agent.

3rd Jan 2023 (1 year ago)Estate Agents sometimes get a bad rap (on occasions deserved), But if you use Henry Phillips Estate Agent, they will take you through the whole process of selling the house, explaining how and why your house is advertised and when the offer comes through they lease with both sets of Solicitors. I can assure you, your stress will be much reduced. Our main contact was David Stevens and throughout it was obvious he new what he was talking about, A very proffesional job. Thankyou Ben

We were doubtful as heard this before and the house had been on the market for over a year. Well less then two weeks an offer was in and the house is sold. would highly recommend Mark and also Agency UK to anyone trying to sell in this tough market

I wanted to schedule a viewing for the week but only one person was able to show the house who wasn't available at the time we requested. I've made 3 attempts to now contact this individual and they have still not replied or returned my phonecall. Disgusting service. Renting property shouldn't be this hard.
