23rd Jan 2026 (17 days ago)I recently used Connells estate agency for the sale of my property. Lily Southgate was fantastic, as was the whole team in the Ipswich Office. I was regularly informed of viewings and other interest in the property which was generated by the excellent online presence that Connells have. This presence meant that the property was publicised to a very wide audience, allowing interest from a wide field. The property package was excellent, including professional photos taken by a skilled photographer that enhanced the online image, with accurate descriptions allowing any viewer to gain a true feeling of the property without being there. If you are considering selling your property I would highly recommend Connells to help you through your journey.

It’s wasn’t straight forward as there was a lot of back and forth but Zoe, Chelsea, Jessica and the wider team were always happy to help. Calls were returned when they said they would be and they couldn’t do enough for us. I was very pleased with the service I received as a buyer and I wouldn’t hesitate to use consider Abbotts if and when we sell, thank you.
13th Jan 2026 (27 days ago)They had a property I was interested in so I visited the office, was welcomed by Corinne Reed, very friendly and helpful, got things moving immediately, deal done in 2 days. She has made it clear she is a phone call away for any help needed. Excellent service.

30th Nov 2025 (10 weeks ago)Very disappointed that I was deducted £460 from my deposit from a property I had been renting since 2017 in Wilding Drive. I did not owe any rent, there was damage to a small carpet in the en suite I contacted Kesgrave carpets who quoted be £50 for fitting plus the price of the remnant. I would have been happy with that. I feel I cannot re commend Austwick Berry to anyone the deposit was important to me.

The team were helpful, professional, and easy to deal with throughout the whole process. They achieved a substantially better price for my property compared to two other estate agents who had quoted, and I felt confident with their advice and support from start to finish. Overall, I’m very satisfied and would happily recommend them.
10th Dec 2025 (9 weeks ago)My case was a lengthy one as there were works required following surveys and the team at Harris and Wood were always in contact, offering support and advice throughout. They also kept my buyers in place from start to finish which was circa 10 Months so was really grateful for that.

Sigourney,part of the progress team, who brought the sale to a successful conclusion, was excellent. Her continuous hard work with the purchaser and their solicitor, throughout the sale was exceptional. I am so grateful to her. A real credit to Foxhalls. Thankyou so much.

Throughout this whole time, Oakheart kept us informed and up-to-date, and we felt that Amy really understood the issues and motivations behind them and gave some very solid and level-headed advice. She was constantly calm and always available at the end of the phone to provide reassurance and explain any issues. We also appreciated the very valuable advice provided by Josh at several decision points along the way. We have had contact with many (too many!) other Colchester-based estate agents and none of them came anywhere close to providing the high standard of personal customer service that Oakheart did. At every step of the journey from very first contact they were there providing well-reasoned and honest advice and excellent service. If you are thinking of selling your home I would highly recommend Oakheart for an honest, reliable, and excellent experience.

You always had a point of contact specific to you & if they weren’t in for whatever reason, someone in the team could always help. Unlike other experiences we had with other estate agents. We had a lot of issues with the house we were buying & Sally kept our buyers and ourselves updated the whole way through. Even when we were all stressed, sally was the calm in the storm we needed. I cannot thank her enough ?? and she couldn’t of been happier when we finally made it ???? thank you so much ??

As a first time buyer, I was naturally a bit nervous, but they couldn’t have made things any easier for me! They were professional, approachable, and always happy to help or answer any questions. 29th Nov 2025 (10 weeks ago)I was recommended to Marks & Mann as they had managed to sell a property on our road when others hadn't. Jacob was brilliant, knows what he's talking about although once I chose them I literally never heard any more from him directly which seemed really odd at the time but he clearly passed everything on as it was then Emma and Louise who then dealt with me and there was absolutely no breakdown in communication. There were several viewings in the first week and sold within two weeks. They always came back to me if I had any queries and emailed me updates. Even when things were slow further down the chain, they remained cheerful, helpful and encouraging. Really grateful to them for making it a smooth and positive experience.
