17th Aug 2024 (10 weeks ago)I contacted Abbots last year to inquire about their services though chose not to pursue them. Since then I have been repeatedly contacted month-to-month asking if I am interested in selling with them, or arranging a mortgage. Each time I have informed them that I am no longer selling my property and requested that they cease contacting me. The calls have continued ceaselessly. Take a hint—I'm just not that into you!

11th Apr 2024 (6 mo. ago)It should not have been this difficult to get my deposit back from my shared tenancy that was ended totally legitimately in the correct way. This was something that was made unnecessarily complicated. The experience of getting the deposit back and the suggestions of incoming tenants paying me directly caused so much unnecessary stress. It should never be this hard to get a deposit back and it should not take days to do so when you’ve been a legitimate and good tenant.
16th Sep 2024 (5 weeks ago)Really hopeless when it comes to getting viewings for rentals or updated information. They say they’ll call and don’t etc … Many of the staff are rude and blunt. I saw several reviews that they’re not good for landlords or tenants and in my experience i wouldn’t recommend and definitely wouldn’t use to rent.

In particular Shane and Emma could not have done more for us. Our chain was not straight forward but they helped us navigate it all, we couldn't have done it without them.

From the initial valuation and showings by Darren Chapman through to the management of the sale by Karen Ward, I felt the sale was in the right hands. Everyone who I had communications with at Grace's was professional and courteous, but more importantly from my end, it made the process stress free. 29th Jul 2024 (12 weeks ago)Really let down by this company. Requested a viewing after speaking to the agent. Was informed they would call shortly with options. After a few days I called again only to be told that a colleague had already shown the property to potential tenants, in the interim. I asked for an opportunity to view. Again, said he would call back. Again, I had to follow-up a few days later. Was informed landlord had accepted an offer and would not permit other viewings. Really unprofessional from this company.
5th Jul 2024 (16 weeks ago)BE VERY CAREFUL!!! Once these lot have your deposit they ignore you. We agreed to buy a buy to let from these and went through the mortgage application with our own agent. We then found out they had overvalued thr property by a fair amount, not allowing us to get a mortgage. We were then told we had to use their mortgage person, which cost us another £300 but we had no option. They also could not get us a mortgage because the value was less than 50k. Upon telling these lot, they are now ignoring our calls, you can't speak to the refund team as only on email, no managers have phones and they won't give us our deposit back even though it states we are entitled to it back for following their stipulations. I'm no being ignored by the salesman Jack and no one will return emails etc. I will be taking this to the Ombudsman too, to highlight this appalling service and blatant overvalued to gain mortgage applicants. They had the same listing on their site for £52,500 and £46,000. We found this after we had agreed a price. So be very careful not to deal with these people. They are rude and have total lack of customer service once they have your deposit. Zero stars from me!!!
