25th Jul 2024 (2 days ago)There was a hiccup with the sale when the first buyer disappeared off the face of the earth after 5 months, without announcing that he was no no longer interested in my property. When it became evident that he was unobtainable, Peter David rapidly re-assessed the situation, as the market had declined since the first advert, re-advertised it, and it attracted several more viewers, then from my acceptance of a second offer, the whole conveyancing process took 3 months. So fairly quick.
12th Jan 2023 (1 year ago)From the start I have found Alan Cooke to be highly professional, keeping me in touch at all stages regarding viewings. The tenancy is fully managed by Alan Cooke, so they have seen to initial meter readings, gas and other safety checks, minor problems reported by the tenants and the various legal requirements. This has all made the running of this property very easy for me. Highly recommended.

I have always found them very responsive and professional. An issues are dealt with quickly and they do a great job of looking after our house and our tenant.

And when things got a bit complicated during our completion, James remained in contact on Friday and Saturday evenings to give the very next customer service. The bigger chains simply would not give that level of service. Highly recommend Cornerstone!!!!!
17th May 2024 (10 weeks ago)I purchased a property through this branch, which couldn't have been easier. Jacqueline was easy to contact and was quick to respond, even after completion. Charlie was absolutely brilliant in securing us a great mortgage rate and also helped us to negotiate a fair price for the property; I would not go anywhere else in the future for mortgage advice.

They tell you what should be done, tell you when and how it will be done and deliver. They made the whole experience stress-free, were 100% professional, have an outstanding knowledge of the local property market business with the added bonus of amazing value for money and you can't ask for more than that. Thank you to you both!
14th Aug 2023 (11 mo. ago)The person who valued our house and did the sales pitch to us was great, but the person who actually dealt with our sale was terrible. She added no value to the whole process, never answered the phone or called us back, sent really unhelpful emails with no clear actions or asks in there and provided no effort to mediate our chain and keep all parties happy. It felt like she ended up working for our buyer rather than us who were her clients. She also seemed to shy away from difficult news and did everything over email rather than calling and helping to get people on side. I would not recommend. Our friends had a similar experience so this is not an isolated incident.

15th Jul 2023 (1 year ago)Between initial marketing and proceedable offer, the housing market experienced a turbulent time, due mainly to several B of E base rate interest rises and mortgage rate rises by lenders. This led to adjustments in the market taking place. Knowing how best to respond to changing market condition was a concern. Hunters were amazing in relation to professionally assessing the changing state of the market and gave sound advice and support in relation to strategy. The local Hunters team at Horsforth were always available to respond to my queries and were first class when communicating what was happening with viewings and associated feedback, especially in the latter stages of securing a proceedable offer. Having now sold two houses (12 years apart) with Hunters, I have no qualms in confidently recommending them as an excellent estate agent.

It's was no trouble, would go out of there way to give me time to adjust to changes. Over 30 years since I sold a house. Things have changed and a lot more high tec. Don't let that put you off! It's easy from this side.

She was happy to answer all our questions and was very encouraging about our sale.She was also very prompt in replying to emails and texts during this process. In the end we had a very straightforward sale as we swapped houses with our buyer, but that buyer came from one of the early viewings arranged by Monroes.I would recommend Kiera and Monroes without hesitation.
24th Jun 2024 (5 weeks ago)What a ride we have had! After trying to sell and getting no where with other estate agents we went for Ornella after a couple of great recommendations. Within a few weeks we had multiple viewings all with good intentions and she sold our apartment. Although this didn't go through first time Ornella managed to sell our apartment again very quickly. Always keeping us informed about how they all went and gave us lots of feedback each time. Through our journey of selling with Ornella she was always in touch with everyone involved to make this the easiest quickest and smoothest journey she could. She is incredibly hard working and well connected and above all care for her customers happiness in finding their perfect home. Cannot recommend enough!
