12th Jan 2023 (2 years ago)From the start I have found Alan Cooke to be highly professional, keeping me in touch at all stages regarding viewings. The tenancy is fully managed by Alan Cooke, so they have seen to initial meter readings, gas and other safety checks, minor problems reported by the tenants and the various legal requirements. This has all made the running of this property very easy for me. Highly recommended.

3rd Nov 2024 (10 weeks ago)DON’T USE FOR LETTINGS - CHECKS NOT CARRIED OUT I’ve recently purchased a property via care4 which they had managed as a letting property through a previous owner. Upon purchasing I’ve complained about 20 bin bags of old goods being left in my loft. They have obviously not checked that the tenants removed everything from the property on behalf of the last owner/landlord and this I why I would not use them and advise others to avoid doing so. Their poor checks have resulted in £££ expense and time on my part. I appreciate these things can happen and offered for them to resolve for me and not receive this review. I’ve not heard from them.
13th Dec 2024 (4 weeks ago)I completed my house purchase today and couldn't be happier with the entire process. From the very start, the valuation with Tom felt honest and non-pushy. We chose to use him because of this and then Jaqueline sold the house for us. She was attentive, always contactable and generally a pleasure to deal with. I would 100% recommend William H Brown and I will be using them for all future sales / purchases (although they already got me my dream house!). Thank-you all.
24th Oct 2024 (12 weeks ago)I had a terrible experience with this letting agency. My stepdaughter and her friends rented a student property, and throughout their tenancy, maintenance issues were completely ignored. The agency was impossible to get hold of, leaving the property in poor condition for months. At the end of the tenancy, they unjustly withheld the deposit, forcing the girls to go through the Deposit Protection Scheme to get it back. Thankfully, the scheme sided with them today, but it makes me wonder how many other students this agency is exploiting, hoping they won't fight back. Avoid at all costs!

23rd Oct 2024 (12 weeks ago)Good knowledge of the local market, good pricing knowledge and when to change price according to demand. Communication was good overall and they worked quickly with the solicitors when the offer was in. Overall a very good experience.
14th Aug 2023 (1 year ago)The person who valued our house and did the sales pitch to us was great, but the person who actually dealt with our sale was terrible. She added no value to the whole process, never answered the phone or called us back, sent really unhelpful emails with no clear actions or asks in there and provided no effort to mediate our chain and keep all parties happy. It felt like she ended up working for our buyer rather than us who were her clients. She also seemed to shy away from difficult news and did everything over email rather than calling and helping to get people on side. I would not recommend. Our friends had a similar experience so this is not an isolated incident.

19th Nov 2024 (8 weeks ago)If someone could get a knighthood for selling and assisting with properties it would definitely go to Dan Shepherd! Dan has been absolutely fantastic with the sale of our property, constant communication and always being kept in the loop as soon as he finds out any info.. helping our buyer with documents he wasn’t sure on out of hours to make the process easier for both sides. We’re on the final push now with selling our property and I honestly don’t think we could have done it without Dan and would not have gotten a better anywhere else. Thank you Dan

I feel that they have been very supportive and proactive in a turbulent and difficult market in a City Centre location. I would have no hesitation in recommending this Agency.

And during each transaction we have always felt as if the estate agent hadn’t always had our best interests at heart and in some circumstances acted in a biased way towards other buyers/bidders, basically not being truthful. We had all the north Leeds estate agents round to take a look at our property to sell, but felt as if each one wasn’t being genuine, or lacked experience or just priced it on recent sold properties in the area… David at ewemove however is a breath of fresh air! From the moment we instructed David to sell our detached property in Adel he was an absolute professional. His skill & love of photography came across in the amazing brochure he provided for our property not just the usual quick pics from other estate agents. We felt very reassured and confident in David’s ability and therefore left David to do the open viewing weekend, and we would go away. David had checked all of the interested parties and had approx 25 viewings over the weekend….. by the following Tuesday we had 10 offers 2 under and 8 over! Incredible! Needless to say he sold the property that day for way above the asking price. It didn’t stop there he advised us, followed up all parties involved and made it the easiest sale we had known. The fact that David has had years of experience showed through right to the end. Having never been able to recommend an estate agent before… in fact I always warned people after some of our experiences, David is the only one we have recommended to our friends & family. And we would happily call him our friend now. Thank you David

It was a bit of a battle throughout the whole process as dealing with leasehold properties isn’t straight forward at the moment but they stuck with it and got the job done! She handled everything, even down to perfecting photos to showcase the properties at their best. Her advice and guidance throughout were invaluable. Andrew & Erin went above and beyond to get the property shown to the right potential buyers with great communication maintained throughout the process.
