James was absolutely fantastic from first engagement, ensuring that he fully understood details of the chain before recommending an offer be accepted, through to chasing and ensuring matters progressed whilst keeping me updated on progress. I would definitely recommend.
20th Mar 2025 (28 days ago)I recently moved into a new rental property through William H Brown, and Kelcie made the whole process so easy from start to finish. She was really friendly and approachable, which made a huge difference compared to other agents I’ve dealt with in the past. She was always quick to respond to any questions I had and explained everything clearly, so I never felt left in the dark. The referencing process was straightforward, and she kept me updated every step of the way. Even after I moved in, she checked in to make sure everything was okay, which I really appreciated. It’s clear she genuinely cares about making the process smooth for tenants, and I’d definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a new home!

24th Oct 2024 (25 weeks ago)I had a terrible experience with this letting agency. My stepdaughter and her friends rented a student property, and throughout their tenancy, maintenance issues were completely ignored. The agency was impossible to get hold of, leaving the property in poor condition for months. At the end of the tenancy, they unjustly withheld the deposit, forcing the girls to go through the Deposit Protection Scheme to get it back. Thankfully, the scheme sided with them today, but it makes me wonder how many other students this agency is exploiting, hoping they won't fight back. Avoid at all costs!

14th Aug 2023 (1 year ago)The person who valued our house and did the sales pitch to us was great, but the person who actually dealt with our sale was terrible. She added no value to the whole process, never answered the phone or called us back, sent really unhelpful emails with no clear actions or asks in there and provided no effort to mediate our chain and keep all parties happy. It felt like she ended up working for our buyer rather than us who were her clients. She also seemed to shy away from difficult news and did everything over email rather than calling and helping to get people on side. I would not recommend. Our friends had a similar experience so this is not an isolated incident.

19th Nov 2020 (4 years ago)Hello Reviewers!! I had rented a property for 6years and was alarmed when I was told I would be having to move as my landlord had sold his property during the lockdown. I searched everywhere! I couldn’t find anything suitable and the longer I searched the closer I got to the moving out date! I was panicking! Then I found SBLiving! There I had two amazing members of staff who went above and beyond for me and my requests! So a big shout out and thank you to Emily and Natasha! They were polite, fun to communicate with and most of all very professional! They found me a place (where I am now residing) And it’s been a dream come true! The process was fast Efficient and effective! I have been here for about 6weeks now and I cannot thank them enough! So a big box of celebrations is in order! Emily and Natasha if you are reading this THANK YOU ;)

From start to finish, their team provided a seamless and stress-free experience. Rebecca and Samantha were incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and always went above and beyond to ensure every detail was taken care of. They took the time to really understand our needs and what stood out most was the level of communication – I was always kept informed and felt completely supported throughout the process. Received an appointment to view a flat very quickly and had confirmation that we were successful in securing the flat the next morning. Very efficient, excellent service, extremely friendly and helpful!
29th Mar 2025 (19 days ago)From the first meeting with Andrew we knew we wanted to instruct him to sell our home. He is so knowledgeable about the property market and his approach to selling is unique and very effective. Communication wise both he and his team work closely with you and are beyond helpful. Our sale was a tough one, both emotionally and professionally. Andrew went above and beyond what you would expect any estate agent to do for you. There were many bumps in the road and I can honestly say that if Andrew had not been at the heart of our chain then it would have fallen apart. I wish him and his team every success, they absolutely deserve it. Enfields Wharfedale are the estate agents to use if you want a professional service with a team that truly cares about your sale and onward purchase.
26th Feb 2025 (7 weeks ago)After our first year of living in our flat, the rent went up by a big chunk which wouldn’t seem a lot to others but £50 for one working person, one person who’s not working and looking after their child full time is too much. We expect it to go up again this year. Not going to be able to afford living here if they keep putting prices up. On top of that, why should they increase it when they don’t do anything? I’ve made a couple complaints before about things happening in our communal building and in our parking area and all they said they will do is put out a letter for all the residents including myself which they didn’t even do. False promises, don’t care about their tenants. A recent issues is someone smoking weed in their flat or communal hall right across from us. Already written a complaint and not heard anything back. Why do we have to live here and suffer and yet you get to take money off of us? Can’t afford to move right now because of how expensive the rent is and if you can’t find a place to live before your contract resets, you’re stuck for another year. There’s no way out of it. Edit: someone asked me to remove this but I said I’d edit it because at the time of this review nothing was being done and my feelings were valid. They are helping now with our current problem as much as they can do in their position. They say they can’t find my other emails on their system?
