It was an extremely complicated sale taking many months to complete which Ross managed in a professional and dedicated manner at all times. He went above and beyond to get our business sold right from the beginning with the presentation of our property and his continued professionalism. It was a pleasure to work with him and all the team at Lanes and Homes and we can highly recommend all the team at Lanes and Homes to put your property first to get the results you need. I will be forever thankful for having someone I could contact to discuss and implement all that was required to get our business sold. I can throughly recommend and am so impressed with the very thorough service we received selling our family business through this company. We wanted to give a very special mention to Lauren Stack; an absolute credit to the team, she answered all our emails instantly, not only professionally but like a friend and giving us updates regularly. We had numerous agents round but they were spot on the valuation and communication has been to a high standard showing utmost professionalism.

10th Apr 2025 (6 weeks ago)An all round great experience selling my house with Glenn and the team at Urban & Rural. From the first meeting I was put an ease and the whole process was clearly explained. Before my house went on the market the sales team visited the house so they could meet me, the house, and ask any questions so they are fully briefed for viewings - this was a great touch. The team did a brilliant job fielding double digit viewings in two days, and extracting multiply offers from potential buyers, putting me in a very strong position. From the house going on the market to a sale being agreed was less than a week, which was better than I could ever have expected. I look forward to working with their in-house conveyancing expert to see the sale process through to completion.

18th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

Not wasting my time. 2: They are very honest. Telling the right information about marketing. Also can see they look after the property for the seller as well. even I am a purchaser. 3:They treat me respectfully and equally. be honest ,feel much more confident and positive when I saw the property is under Waldens. From the very beginning the communication was excellent, first of all dealing with Dom to arrange a viewing and then negotiating on the offer. We had quite a lengthy process due to solicitors and everything that comes with buying and selling in the UK. It was made a lot smoother thanks to Elliot at Lion Estates who was the sales progressor for the purchase. He helped with communication between solicitors and even assisted on our sale, this definitely eased the stress! They also took the time to arrange another viewing before completion. Everyone in the team we spoke to were very friendly, helpful and honest. I’d certainly recommend them and use them in future for selling a property.
