19th Oct 2024 (16 weeks ago).... average when they don't have your money and very poor when they do, after completion. There's a bad apple there who doesn't seem to know there job role or the fundamentals of customer service and worsens this greatly by not being the least bit polite , quite a passive aggressive tone going over to cold and unhelpful. Over all it depends who helps you get but it's like flipping a coin pot luck. I'd say their overall a poor unprofessional outfit and certainly aren't at all customer based. They need to support people selling from start to finish and quite simply the dont. They only care about their fee.... 1/10 at best
19th Jul 2024 (6 mo. ago)I wasn’t going to write this but I think people should be aware. Back in winter from October to January, I moved into a flat rented by M L Estates. Since the first time I tried to put the heating on, it didn’t work, there was also a leak that’s caused a wide spread of mould into the apartment I was living in. You could clearly tell the issue had been ignored in the past, the door was rotten but had been painted over.This continued the entire duration of my rental period and progressively got worse, with active water coming into my apartment. I reported this back to Kay, and I was always met with hostility, they left me without any form of heating during winter, I could see my breath in the flat, even worse, the apartment had huge windows and a vent in my bedroom letting cold air from the outside in. It was awful, I was told we’ve been an estate agent for 25 years, we can fix a bit of mould, yet nothing was done and there was clearly a history of this kind of problem. I wouldn’t go near this estate agents. They were aware I was estranged university student, yes I had fallen short on rental due date, but given the current climate of the cost of living and being a student in itself, it’s difficult to navigate, this wasn’t met with much understanding, instead a constant hownding “ as she was following the landlord instruction”. My experience was gross negligence, and I would hate for someone else to be in the position. It was only when I googled how long you can leave a person without heating when I realised this situation really was terrible, if I had the funds I would of escalated it, of course they knew that though. I reported this early December, I moved out the very end of January . Just be aware if you are living alone, and don’t have much support, the estate agency is not for you.

7th Dec 2024 (9 weeks ago)They managed to find a buyer for our house which we had failed to sell on numerous occasions before. We got a price that enabled us to purchase another property with some money left over. They liaised very well between us and the buyers over queries we had and kept us informed. My only gripe was the continuity of personel as we had several different people involved at different times and I would have preferred one contact person throughout.

Ours ended up being a really difficult move that went on much longer than it should have, and Tracey, Leanne and the team were absolutely amazing from start to finish. They were supportive, proactive, patient, and they really did go above and beyond. Thank you!

From sale and purchase through to completion they were professional, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. Tess in particular handled our sale/purchase progression and was, without doubt, the most helpful and competent person we dealt with throughout any of the transactions. On so many occasions her knowledge helped us to keep the transactions progressing. She recognised our situation and did absolutely everything she could, going above and beyond, to support us at a very stressful time. Thanks very much!

1st Feb 2025 (6 days ago)From the first contact with Trading Places I felt they were very friendly and welcoming. I mainly dealt with Chloe and then Helen who were both very supportive and happy to keep me up to date with everything regarding the house purchase. Even when my first sale fell through. Helen was there to provide advice and do everything she could to keep my purchase progressing. As a result I was able to re sell my house and complete on my original purchase. Thank you for everything! I would recommend you to anyone looking for a new home

We have always had a positive experience and found the whole team went out of their way to support us as both buyers and sellers. During our recent purchase there were several issues that needed to be resolved and Lorna & the team did so much to enable completion.

Moved in July 2024 (around 5 months ago) and we still have outstanding maintenance issues to be fixed despite raising these issues through Hive’s maintenance system the first week we moved in. We have contacted multiple members of staff regarding these issues and half of them have been resolved after chasing them but the rest seems to be forgotten about. I have now gave up chasing for them to be fixed.

23rd Jan 2025 (15 days ago)I had the pleasure of speaking with Nina this morning, she was extremely helpful and happy to answer any questions I had about areas/properties etc. As someone moving to the area this is really appreciated when someone takes the time out of their day to help. The conversation was promptly followed up with an email confirmation, thank you Nina!
7th Jan 2025 (4 weeks ago)Zero stars. I wrote my own sales brochure as they even struggled to do that. They undervalued my property and did little to get buyer interest. I did my viewings and found a buyer so their total contribution was zilch. They messed the sale up so I paid a withdrawal fee. The following Monday I listed with the brilliant Yopa but Signature relisted my house for £25k less just to cause trouble! I reported them to National Crime Agency as this is stealing personal information. We slapped a GDPR breach on the unprofessional time wasters. Zoopla and Rightmove helped me get their fake listing removed plus I arm-wrestled with Signatures 'MD'. The 'MD' is a flashy clown and the 'team' are morons. Leave well alone as they practice unethically and you'll only have problems and headaches. Yopa then showed me how it really should be done; six offers within the first four days and sold £35k over the asking price. Signature are worse than just a waste of time. Leave well alone.
