I called Carter Jonas and spoke with Louise who took the time to assess what I needed and how best to help me find it. Louise found me a property that matched what I was looking and even more. She was so kind, helpful and took the time to listen and care something that I found other agents were not willing to do. This showed she was more concerned about the person rather than the "sale/rental". Louise even assisted when I wanted to go view the property again to measure up and helped resolve a few utility issues that came up. I would very much recommend Carter Jonas and especially the lovely Louise in searching for your property!
16th Jan 2026 (7 days ago)I rent a property via Davis Tate and have been very pleased with the experience so far. The paperwork for the rental was very thorough. The property was cleaned before I moved in and if there are any issues I just e-mail Karola who liaises with the property owner and arranges for someone to come and deal with things promptly.
2nd Nov 2025 (12 weeks ago)I would highly recommend Connells Abingdon. Charlie-Rose and Daniel were very efficient and my father’s property was sold after only about 2 weeks of advertising. After years of awful chain estate agents it was wonderful to have met Doug and Emma! Will definitely be recommending to any friends in the area Update: I have just finished my tenancy with OxHome Estate Agency and everything went so smoothly, they were really accommodating in timing to help me find a place and move and the checkout was super easy and no deposit gouging like some of the large chain agencies do. Would highly recommend Doug and co. to anyone looking to let or rent!
7th Feb 2025 (11 mo. ago)After minimal success with our first Agent in selling our house, we chose to move to 'James Gesner Estate agents' due to their knowledge of Wallingford and the surrounding area and specifically one area. Having the team represent our sale, and then to find us a property in the area we were looking to move, I would comment that James and the team were exceptional. The data (marketing report) that they provide against the sales element was informative, the viewings that they conducted, were very professional and the correspondence was always relevant, and always available. James is very knowledgeable where it matters and worked tirelessly in supporting both the house sale and purchase, and I felt that he really went above and beyond in providing a great service and doesn't seem to switch off by providing updates whilst in Mexico. James Gesner Estate Agency will certainly be first on my list for any House sales/Letting.

19th Nov 2025 (9 weeks ago)We couldn’t be happier with the service at Green and Co. We actually only dealt with them as they were agents for people we were buying our house from but they have been the most helpful people in our whole buying/selling process. Both Kevin and Harry have been so supportive and informative and although we had a few hiccups along the way have been completely understanding and provided us with advice when we needed it. Most importantly the communication was excellent. Most professionals we dealt with in the process were a nightmare to get hold of, or we had to do all the communicating. This was not the case with Green and Co, with regular, friendly yet professional communication they made the whole process much smoother. Our only regret is not using them to sell our house and we will 100% be using them for anything else we might need in the future.

1st Jan 2026 (22 days ago)Regrettably horrible experience with these agents during the checking out process. Completely ignored our emails by the end of the tenancy and just kept re-submitting the deposit return. The agent just didn't show up on the last day of the tenancy to complete a checkout, then subsequently fabricated a checkout report, after the tenancy had ended. Director of the business was made aware and just didn't acknowledge this. Further, people were let into our flat to view it without prior notice to view it, we noticed this as we were returning home and were told that they were just very early. The entire reason being we wished to be present during viewings.

Communication was clear and regular, and they were always happy to answer questions or chase things up when needed. The process felt well managed and much less stressful thanks to their support. I’d happily recommend them to anyone buying or selling.
