21st Aug 2024 (9 weeks ago)I cannot recommend Connells Estate Agents, and in particular Charlie Rose White, highly enough. They were truly exceptional in handling the sale of my father’s property. Sadly, my father passed away during the sales process, which meant the property had to go through probate. Despite this, Charlie had already secured buyers for the property, and thanks to the strong relationship she had built with both the buyers and myself, they chose to stay with us throughout the lengthy probate period. Charlie was an absolute godsend. Her deep knowledge of the entire process and her unwavering support were invaluable in helping me navigate the complexities of probate and dealing with solicitors. I am incredibly grateful for her expertise and compassion during such a challenging time. I wholeheartedly recommend Charlie and her team at Connells. Without a doubt, I would turn to them again in the future.
15th Feb 2022 (2 years ago)Avoid at all costs, even if they're selling your dream home. It is not worth it and you stand to lose a lot! Absolutely terrible customer service and organisation. They are single handedly holding up a chain of 2 houses and have ignored almost all emails from the start of this process. They have also lied throughout, right from the first viewing, with claims that turned out to he completely untrue up to us trying to complete the exchange. Currently have got both buyers in the chain, plus the other estate agent chasing them, to still not even have the courtesy to reply to any one of us. The person buying our house is going to end up homeless if Davis Tate don't start to action everything that they should have, and they do not appear to care in the slightest. They are rude and unacceptably bad at their jobs, putting peoples lives in the balance. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Lisa was enthusiastic about selling our property from the first time she saw it and made sure other members of the team were familiar with the house too. Viewings were always accompanied and at convenient times. Once the offer was made the whole process went smoothly. Communication with the team was excellent and we felt up to date and informed every step of the way. Highly recommend!

After viewing the house we were travelling overseas and were able to undertake all of the paperwork and processes from there. Luke was incredibly supportive and always on hand to help (as was Nicolette). As first time buyers they made the whole experience positive and we highly recommend them! Thank you!
26th Jun 2023 (1 year ago)Rang in the morning to book a viewing as was keen to see a property, was told someone would call back shortly, I also asked if the property was still available and it was. Just over an hour and a half and no call back, rang again but I wouldn’t get put through to sales. Eventually got a call back and a very blunt women said sorry is sold subject to contract so can’t get a viewing. Which is fair enough but the tone it came across was not the best. Didn’t even get offered any other properties, or get asked what my budget or type of property I was looking for. Clearly not wanting to sell properties to anyone.

24th Sep 2024 (29 days ago)We have recently sold our property with Hodsons Didcot and they were great throughout. Previously we had a bad experience with another local estate agent so were slightly sceptical about the whole progress. Initially we met Patrick who came across as a genuine nice guy, he was enthusiastic but not pushy. He then organized for us to meet Annita and Alan as they would be part of the process, which we also liked. They organised the professional photos which were really good quality (they are that great we would like to use them for our business) and got the house on the market. Throughout the whole process we were kept up to date with regular phone calls and emails. Our original buyer then pulled out of the purchase but the team did everything they could to get the house back on the market and sold again, which they did within 3 days. This meant we got to keep the house we were buying. At this point we realised that Patrick, Annita and Alan were incredible and really did everything that they could for us. Once we had sold Kerry then took over to be our contact and liaised with all the Solicitors, she is worth her weight in Gold for all the chasing she did especially towards the end. I can’t recommend the team enough.
7th Oct 2024 (16 days ago)My wife and I have been trying for some time to secure a rental property for a family (a lady with two sons) from Ukraine who have been living with us. Although in full time work the mother is in receipt of Universal Credit and we feel that many estate agents have not been sympathetic to their circumstances. The staff at William Jones by contrast have been very professional, supportive and helpful and Jess in particular has been a delight to work with. I would thoroughly recommend them for use by both prospective landlords and tenants.

We viewed the property with Alice who was very knowledgable about the house and area. During the purchase process Alice and the team were regularly in touch and helped chivvy things along. On the day of completion we ran into some difficulties with our solicitors and we really appreciated the support from Leanne to help push things through. Overall we had a great experience and would definitely recommend the team to anyone looking to sell or buy in the area.
24th Jun 2024 (17 weeks ago)All the staff at Turner’s were approachable, friendly and professional. I would thoroughly recommend Turner’s to anyone thinking of buying or selling property. James imparticular went above and beyond to sort out two very messy and twice broken chains that we were a part of. After almost two, very frustrating years we finally moved and James was with us every step of the way. It was a pleasure to deal with him and Turner’s.
5th Oct 2024 (18 days ago)At the beginning of my tenancy, the agency seemed very professional and attentive, but unfortunately, my experience changed towards the end. It became clear that they were more focused on representing the landlord’s interests. If you are a landlord, I’m sure they will do a great job for you. However, as a tenant, I cannot say I had the best experience. My advice to future tenants is to document everything. After every phone call or interaction, follow up with an email summarizing the conversation. Trust me, you’ll need that paper trail.

13th Jun 2023 (1 year ago)Hathaways took over management of our Oxford property in April this year, and so far have been a breath of fresh air - it's great to be working again with a family concern, and to feel that they care about us and our tenants. The only issue we had was that some documents were rather unclear, but they responded promptly to my feedback and updated the docs to fix this. Service has been friendly and efficient.
