2nd Nov 2023 (6 mo. ago)Must congratulate a helpful woman named Debbie, who not only showed people around the property, but made sure the property was advertised to its full potential and we were kept fully up to date on its viewings and progress.
22nd Jan 2024 (15 weeks ago)UNPROFESSIONAL!they accept my saftey deposit and all my references checked,after wasting my 1 week when i go for contract sign she said property is rented out a week ago to someone.making lame excuses clearly could tell she was lying or was not aware of situation.RUBBISH services and totally unprofessional
27th Apr 2024 (7 days ago)Not a great experience with this company. Placed in a property via my local authority. One company fronts for this company. From day one I reported issues to the initial company I was introduced to. I had a random visit from the owner of this company who found it amusing and failed to comprehend exposed scolding hot pipes, over 1.5m drops in the back garden with no rails, loose paving, an un lockable back door, holes in walls and floors plus many more hazards were an serious issue for an ASD child. He dismissed me and instructed me to get a quote to decorate the bathroom while skipping out of the house arrogantly. I have since come to find out he is not just the estate agent but also the owner. After months of failed repairs by unskilled random men I had to get Environmental Health to inspect. In addition to the faults I identified there were multiple hazards identified including Cat 1 health and safety issues. I have even found slugs in the house. After all this still no effort to repair. Have the audacity to call me sis when you met me but have me and my kids living like this? Absolutely disgraceful people. When I am moved the whole street will get a copy of the report so other families you happily take GBP’s for will know exactly what they are dealing with!

5th Apr 2024 (29 days ago)Worst estate agents I have dealt with as a tennant. You have to call an infinite amount of times to try and get any issues with the property repaired. In the end, they don't repair anything after they send somebody to see what the issues are. And when you ask when they are planning to actually fix it they tell you if you don't like it you can just move out. Incredibly rude and arrogant behaviour. Also, any communication with them should be made via email so you have proof and can report them to the relevant authorities. Spoke to the people that moved in after me and they had the same issues as me as they didn't bother fixing anything even after getting sick of it and moving out. Avoid them like the plague.

Consistently use their initiative with formal processes. Prompt regarding compliance issues and punctual around visits. I would recommend them again and again.

17th Apr 2024 (17 days ago)I have rented from Matthew. He is a fantastic Landlord and from the beginning he has been attentive, with great communication and very helpful. I was locked out of my flat, my phone almost dead in the freezing cold in the dead of night, and Matthew kindly drove over an hour and opened my front door with some spare keys. He and the team are absolutely great. Second to none!

26th May 2022 (1 year ago)The unique service offered by Griffin has enabled me to complete a DIY sale of my home on the Internet using national property sale platforms as if I was the website. I listed my property at 8am and by 9.30am on the same day I was receiving emails from potential purchaser's. I well know the power of the Internet, but even I was surprised by the speed of it all. The Griffin team have the power to listen and assist you, I wish to thank the person at Griffin who originated this professional service and his team for doing a great job. If I ever need to sell a home in future I will immediately use the Griffin service and have been recommending them to family and friends. Thank you.

17th Jan 2024 (15 weeks ago)In times like this when renting a property is literally a nightmare, when agencies don't even bother to reply or answer the phone because they've got too many clients anyway, contacting Jemma from the agency was like seeing a light on the end of the tunnel or better to say an angel who finally woke you up from nightmares and gave a hope. So busy and under huge pressure, she always find time to answer your emails or call you back, she is an absolute jewel! Like my friend said and I absolutely agree, we just won a lottery with them! Edit: We lived(rented) in the house where many flats are managed by the agency and than you can get the clue why some people here are giving 1 star. I read those reviews and witnessed on my own eyes people from next door not paying bills, electricity cuts, bringing and leaving rubbish around the house and complaining that this government is not doing enough for them and they just want to live on benefits and agency suppose to give them accommodation for free??? It really makes me angry reading and seeing things like that, because if you are on benefits doesn't matter the reason why, you must understand that not even one agency will consider you in front of working people, simple as that, because you don't understand that you are risk for the people who work there, they are working for salary and they want to be payed for work they are doing, for service they are providing and you are expecting them to risk their work and life because of people who eventually might not pay the rent anymore??? Are you willing to work for someone who eventually will not pay you ? I know the answer on this one, because I'm not! I left the flat how I found it when my contract expired. We maintained it as it is our own property because we are living in it and we respect someone who owns it (same as you would expect if you give your car to someone, to fill it up, keep it clean and intact, no difference), and we got our whole deposit back on the same day our contract ended. So, don't believe some reviews here, it is not even worth it to read, because like I said, I witnessed the story behind that and how they left the property after they've got finally evicted (it was a relief for all of us in the building). Agency couldn't even place the property back to market, it was a nightmare. So they lost all that money for the rent, deposit is not going to be enough to bring it back for living condition and tell me, how people who work in the agency suppose to live? On benefits too? Sorry for my long rewiev, but someone independent needs to say the truth behind those 1 star reviews and according to this, I would just suggest the agency, "don't even bother with cases like this, because not even one agency does", but I know that you have more human approach like I said and that's why you are trying to help people even if they think that paying 6 month in front is a rip off, they don't really understand in what risk you are really placing yourself. BTW, we left the agency because our friends who left the country, gave us their property to live in, otherwise we wouldn't move from there, no chance. The best agency we experienced, honestly! Recommend!!!

27th Mar 2024 (5 weeks ago)I did appoint JBrown to sell my property in Bromley and I was very happy at the beginning about the way they approached me and how they worked to get the property on the market quickly. Soon after they changed quite a lot in terms of communication, Zara used to reply randomly ( basically when she got a chance ) whilst Komal (owner)never replied to my emails.( she should learn how to deal with people). Despite that was a clear sight of a lack of professionalism, I left things going ahead smoothly. Zara kept me informed about the buyer's interest in seeing the property and I arranged access all the time. Then I had to chase her to receive feedback from customers, she never made them aware of the outcome or sending any REPORT. Even though I left them to carry on their job. They eventually got 2 offers and let me know to appoint a solicitor which I did. Both times buyers pulled out and she never contacted me to let me know, on the contrary, I had to call to find out what happened. I am still not sure if she really received any offers because I never received proof of that. The 12-week agreement came to an end and I previously let them know by email that I would not renew the mandate( no response at all as usual). Finally, I chased them again to remove my property from the market but they either removed it or replied to my emails. After 2 weeks of waiting for them I decided to contact Rightmove, and Zoopla etc explain the matter and they removed the property immediately. This morning magically I received an email From Zara saying that my property has now been removed! You are a team of liars, hopefully, people will be away from such an unprofessional “Estate Agency”.. I lost time but you lost quite a lot of money. That's what you deserve!!!

My viewing was arranged in literally the same day we managed to make an offer on the very day. She kept on communicating with us the whole time. Everything was managed and all the paperwork was carried out very quickly as well. I love the apartment I moved in, Thank you very much for all your support and effort. We are enjoying our new residence.

18th Mar 2024 (7 weeks ago)We were fortunate enough to find colubrid estate agents when we were looking to sell our home. Colubrid were an extremely accommodating company to deal with. Selling your house can be a very stressful experience but Colubrid were so good at taking away any unnecessary stress. We were given a very friendly and professional team of estate agents (Josh Morel and Tony Harper) and between them they ensured that any questions or queries we had were answered straight away. They were very good and communicating with us and finding out how we wanted our experience to be. They made sure that we felt listened to and valued as a customer and ensured that we were contacted only in the ways that we specified so that viewings and communication did not encroach too much on our family or work time. They are always friendly and accommodating whenever we speak to them and they are fast to resolve any queries or issues that may arise. We have had such a positive experience with this company and will be recommending them to friends and family and will most definitely be using them again in future if we need to.
