30th Jun 2024 (27 days ago)Disappointing Experience with Incompetent State Agency While I was able to secure a rental property relatively quickly through this agency, which I will give them credit for, the experience thereafter has been nothing short of disappointing. I have encountered an unprecedented level of unprofessionalism that I have never experienced before from a state agent. The behavior of one particular agent, Shelley, is highly concerning. Not only have I been subjected to unacceptable outbursts and shouting, which has caused significant distress, but it also appears that Shelley is in dire need of customer service training. Her priorities seem to be misplaced, as she is often preoccupied with activities such as selling properties, attending team meetings with her feet on the table, or assisting NASA with their space missions, rather than addressing client queries and concerns. Despite numerous attempts over the course of nearly 15 days, my emails and inquiries have gone unanswered, leaving me feeling neglected and disregarded. It is unfortunate that the only way to capture their attention appears to be through negative reviews and financial consequences. Furthermore, the property I was provided lacks proper maintenance, and the agency has chosen to ignore all requests for addressing these issues, which is a shameful disregard for their responsibilities. Based on this experience and the numerous negative reviews from others, it is evident that this agency falls short of providing satisfactory service and professionalism. I should have heeded the warnings from previous reviews before engaging with them. After many issues with the property, the landlord/agent never replies to emails or any complaints. We have been having issues with the boiler and have made two unsuccessful attempts to fix it. Now we need help from the agent after a deep clean from the previous tenants and bad state of the garden, and as always, they keep ignoring emails. avoids at all costs!!

Throughout the process, I found Darren Burke and his team, efficient, friendly, helpful and supportive. The selling details/photos were of a high quality and their advice on how to market the property and at what price were spot on. Based on my recent experience, I would have no hesitation in highly recommending the Premier Estates office/team on Canvey Island.
12th May 2024 (11 weeks ago)I can’t thank Richard Poyntz enough for helping me and the kids find a place to rent, it’s really tough out there, as so many people are renting now and they go so quick, but they was so good and knew I wouldn’t have anywhere after my deadline and they tried to help me in every way possible. They are all such lovely people in there and the best state agent agencies around, I have always used them, as I know how good they are. I would 100% recommend them to anyone looking to buy or rent.

I can say, we made a very good choice using their service, because they were helpful, available every time when questions rised by us, and the whole buying process was pretty fast, while they were trying to accelerate it continuously. Their valuation process is great and would make any seller confident to list with them. They are always on hand to offer advice without expecting anything back!

A special thank you to Emma who helped progress the sale throughout and was also extremely supportive when the process was stressful! A great service and worth paying a traditional estate agent fee rather than going with a with cheaper competition that’s now available! Wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

It's quite rare to find a company that provides satisfactory service these days, let alone an outstanding one. Well, they absolutely exceeded my expectations by a long shot! Firstly, everyone I dealt with in this business was friendly, helpful, and polite. I used them for what turned out to be a highly complex sale/purchase, and I genuinely believe that had I not used Stanton Hockett, I would never have moved. They were dedicated, kept in contact throughout, were always available to speak to, were honest throughout, and totally committed to working with all parties to ensure the whole process worked. All of these qualities were appreciated and welcomed, but for me, personally, it was the personal touch that they brought and knowing that they cared. I really cannot thank them enough for all the hard work they put in for me. Special thanks to Bradley, Tina and Gavin, but know the whole team contributed, so thank you.
