I live outside the UK and recently sold a house in South Ockendon with Nicola Ewin managing the process for me from start to finish. Great communication and advice (very important for me being non local). The team managed to generate a lot of interest and organised countless viewings to enable a successful auction. I recommend these guys - they deliver above and beyond, 5 stars all round. Thank you
19th Mar 2026 (10 weeks ago)Everytime I enquire about a property for sell this agent is advertising. The first question they ask is 'Do you have a property for sell'. They take all your personal details and at the end don't give a date for viewing. This happened on several occasions, I have now stopped enquiring. I believe this is a fishing tactic to get peoples information and if they can find a person who is looking to sell. I would not ever buy or sell a property through them.

28th Feb 2020 (6 years ago)ARQ Homes Estate Agent was recommended to me to get a lettings valuation's appraisal for my house. Also, following the reading of good reviews from other people, I was confident and encouraged to make an appointment with ARQ Homes. I spoke with Abdul who invited me to his office, and made feel more than just a client, I felt like a guest in his ARQ estate agent. Abdul was very clear and concise covering all the details in order to give me an honest an accurate valuation appraisal. Abdul also used his valuable experience and knowledge in the housing market, in order to give me a good advice how to proceed with my plan for both potential lettings and sales of my property. Abdul's advice has definitely put me on the the right directions in order to achieve the best possible outcome in relation to my property. 27th Apr 2026 (28 days ago)I’d give 0 stars if I could, the staff are absolutely disgusting. Took over a month to get our deposit back and they are thieves the lot of them. Katie Edmond’s is the worst one with dealt with, wouldn’t reply for days when we had a question and even when she did end up replying she wouldn’t state all the facts. The only good worker there Tommy left. We were robbed of a good experience and if anyone ever is looking to private rent do NOT go with reed residental. £140 back from a £1000 deposit! When we moved in the place was awful but we had no money and needed a place to stay, we got told the fridge, washing machine and oven was a “gift” that “gift” was really just old tat that they didn’t want to have to pay to get rid of but we had to pay for all it to go because none of it worked. Don’t understand how the company is still allowed to be running but I definitely would not recommend to anyone moving into a property to use reed!!

What really stood out was their attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile to ensure everything went smoothly. They made what can often be a stressful experience feel straightforward and well-managed. And let me tell you our journey wasn’t the most straight forward. I would highly recommend their services to anyone looking to buy or sell. A truly five-star experience.

8th May 2026 (17 days ago)After a really frustrating experience trying to sell our home through two other agents, finding Carter Remy Estates completely changed everything for us. Both previous agents had “sold” our property, but on both occasions the sales eventually fell through because the buyers were unable to obtain mortgages. Each time, we had already started spending money towards purchasing another property ourselves, only for everything to collapse due to the buyers not being properly vetted in the first place. It was stressful, costly, and incredibly disappointing. A friend recommended Carter Remy to us and at that point we genuinely felt like we had nothing to lose. From the very beginning, we were impressed with their marketing strategy, professionalism, and honest approach. Within just two weeks they found us another buyer, but this time the difference was obvious immediately. Carter Remy required the buyer to sign a reservation agreement and make an upfront payment, which gave us real confidence that the buyer was genuine, financially committed, and serious about proceeding. It made the whole process feel far more secure and gave us the reassurance we needed to confidently move forward with our onward purchase without fearing another collapse. The result was a completely different experience our sale completed within just 12 weeks with no complications at all after the agreement was signed. A huge thank you to the whole team, especially Allison and Craig, for all of their hard work, communication, and support throughout the process. We honestly can’t recommend Carter Remy highly enough and would recommend them to anyone looking to move home.

We’re do I start probably the best in the uk definitely the best in Loughton and surrounding areas, my two daughters bought there first home with them from the word go Mattew one of the ceo made them feel so comfortable as this could be a difficult time for first time buyers he actually took a lot off my shoulders , he guided them negotiated the price and secured the property for them , he advised them through out the sale he didn’t just stop at securing the sale , it was a very hard and difficult sale due to people in the chain but with all his hard work and effort he got there at the end , Aaron who is a partner there got the girls a mortgage through there in house brokers then he got his in house solicitors Avrillo to complete the sale phoning on a daily basis making sure everything went through swiftly and smoothly as possible he literally took all the weight off the girls shoulders and held there hand all the way through which estate agents company do that well this is the first I came across and I’ve had a few properties under my belt , they are definitely a cut above the rest , the whole team there work so closely with you ,and are so friendly and professional you would think it’s a family business . If your thinking to buy through them go for it as your aware buying a house is so stressful but presidential estate will take over all the stress till the day they hand over the keys to you , 10/10 all round definitely will be using them again and recommend anyone buying try them first you will not be disappointed… many thanks matt and Aaron you guys are true legends.. best in the game .!
