22nd Oct 2024 (6 mo. ago)Excellent estate agents. Darren and his team were brilliant at selling our grade 2 listed property. Elmer especially, kept us informed through out the process of the sale, he was patient with us and was reassuring when we were finding things difficult. Christopher Neville's estate agent have sold three properties of mine in the past. The last one being a grade 2 listed. I thought, it might be difficult to sell but with Elmer and Darrens sales experiences there was no need, for me to worry. They did a fantastic job of selling our property.

24th Oct 2024 (5 mo. ago)One of the horrible estate agents in Hounslow that I have ever come across. They do the repairs and charge the tenants instead of the landlord. Very rude people as well. Stay away from them

Despite it being a day off, he was incredibly attentive to my needs, understanding the urgency of the situation, and ensuring a smooth process from start to finish. His professionalism, respectful approach, and efficiency made all the difference. 7th Oct 2024 (6 mo. ago)Chloe showed us the lexington Apartment flat and did not inform us that the lift does not work most of the time. Anyhow, we later got to know that through other sources. We informed them timely (which was 3 weeks back) that we are not going to move in to that flat and since then the company has not paid us back our deposit despite multiple calls and emails. Kerensa informed us last week that all of the amount has been paid back which was not the case. When it comes to taking our week’s deposit they were very prompt and abrupt but when it comes to paying back and informing the clients about the reality of the apartments they are very poor. I am highly disappointed with their team.

14th Nov 2024 (23 weeks ago)I rented a flat in Slough through Chancellors Slough Office, entire experience from start to finish was terrible . After moving in into the flat i realized entire flat is smoke infested since a heavy smoker used to live there previously , after multiple follow ups they arranged for cleaning but cigarette smell never went away, this created health issues for me for months . After I vacated the flat it took me more then 3 months to get my deposit back which was only returned after I filed a complaint with TDS, that too with heavy deduction. Stay away if possible from this agency.

He helped us every step of the way from sorting handymen to deal w minor issues, to securing our necessary paperwork, to finding the ideal buyer. We were dreading a months long process but have solid offer in <1 month! I can’t praise him enough!
18th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
14th Oct 2024 (6 mo. ago)We are having a nightmare with this company. We have now rented a property with them for a year. We turned up to the viewing, sat there for 10 minutes and no one showed. We called the office to be told they forgot to book it in and it would need to be rebooked, we had driven 4 hours to view this property as we were relocating so told them they had to send someone out. We were then rushed through the viewing. We ended up going ahead with the property and had no problems with this part of the process. However, anything that requires any form of management from Martin&Co is horrendous. They have 2 months to complete a gas safety check but left it to the last week they could legally have it done and then Oliver had a go at US for not being able to take a day off work to let them in. We got told it wasn't possible for them to give us a timed slot so we called British Gas ourselves and got told it was possible they just had to request it, M&Co wouldn't, so we did and I was able to work it around my job (but had to organise everything myself). We then got contacted about our yearly inspection, we called and booked it in for my day off, they never showed up. We called to find out that once again, they didn't book it in. We live in Wokingham but half of our communication comes from the Staines branch. We then got emailed 3 days before rent due to say they were changing the account we needed to pay, we went on to set it up and the bank stated it looked like a scam payment based on the account, we contacted the landlord as it was a Sunday and he said he hadn't authorised any bank change, so it did look like a scam! However, after contacting a very rude woman at M&Co they stated THEY were changing the bank account and we have no right to talk to our own landlord and to pay them immediately and we were lying about the warning from the bank (proof attached). We are on a fully managed contract and have had to organise everything ourselves so far, which is ludicrous. We are fed up with communication from this company and would never rent with them again.
3rd Mar 2025 (7 weeks ago)I found Wigwam Estate Agents staff to be very professional. They were very helpful. I have left everything in their hands which takes the pressure of off my shoulders. this helps because I am moving up to Newcastle and I can concentrate on finding a property.
5th Nov 2024 (24 weeks ago)We had previously parked our property acquisition(!) activity after some insipid viewings. An extended break and an epiphany later, we did embark on one viewing. Had a bit of surprise when Kane, who was our neighbour while at a previous employer, was at the door for conducting the viewing. From there, it looked like it was ordained. Oakwood and Kane had us nimbly side-stepping potential banana skins to land us the property. Effective communication and forthrightness seem to be the norm from this realtor. Suresh
