26th Apr 2024 (6 days ago)When I decided to look for a new home in Windsor, I approached Saviles, a reputed real estate agency in the area. I was fortunate enough to be introduced to Georgina Gibson from the sales team, who proved to be an extremely friendly and knowledgeable professional. Georgina was very supportive of my search and took the time to understand my requirements and preferences. She was well-versed with the area I was interested in and provided me with valuable insights and recommendations. When I found a property that caught my eye, Georgina arranged a viewing for my family and me, going out of her way to accommodate our schedule and make the process as smooth as possible. She was highly professional, polite, and made us feel valued as clients. Georgina also helped me negotiate the lease with her client and submitted my offer on my behalf. She was proactive and responsive throughout the process, keeping me informed every step of the way. Despite Georgina's best efforts, the seller did not take our offer seriously, and we were unable to secure the property. However, this was not due to any fault of Saviles or Georgina. Georgina did everything she could to help us, but the seller was intent on holding out for a higher bid. Nevertheless, we were able to secure another house in Windsor, and the process is currently underway. I am grateful to Georgina for all her help and support, and I would highly recommend her services to anyone looking for a new home in Windsor. I am confident that she will be able to provide you with the same level of professionalism, expertise, and care that she provided me.

The team at Hamptons particularly the letting team in Windsor has consistently delivered high-quality service that benefits both tenants and landlords. I want to extend special thanks to Victoria Holt from the letting team whose professionalism and helpful nature made a significant difference in my experience. Victoria's knowledge and dedication to her role were evident throughout the process providing valuable insights and assistance. One aspect that stood out for me was the team's responsiveness to any concerns or enquiries. Regardless of the issue their prompt and professional manner of addressing it showcased their commitment to client satisfaction. In conclusion, my interactions with Hamptons International particularly the letting team and Admin team in Windsor branch have been consistently positive. Their professionalism, honesty, and the exceptional service provided by individuals like Victoria Holt make them a reliable choice for anyone seeking letting services. 24th Apr 2024 (8 days ago)It has been a little over 2 years now since I first decided to rent my flat in Slough with Connells. There were tons of letting agents who had approached me to utilize their services, but I somehow decided to pick Connells as they had made big promises on how efficiently they will be able to manage my property. Frankly, in this past year, not one week has gone by where I didn't regret my decision. While the first year was relatively smooth sailing, there were always indications of how abysmal the whole experience is going to turn out - not always returning calls, me having to chase them for the smallest of issues, avoidable errors in putting together simple documentation - from the tenancy agreement to maintenance certificates to issuing the wrong rental statement. They issued me a boiler installation certificate with the wrong address, and it has been 8 months since I asked them to correct it, and I am still chasing them. 240 days later!!! But this past year, Connells has just been a colossal disappointment. My tenant had complained of mold in the flat and Connells, as managers of the flat, were responsible to look after the issue promptly. Not only did I have to chase them numerous times to get the issue looked into, the tenant also shared similar frustrations with me, as he had tried to reach Connells several times to report the issue, but he had received no assurance that they will look into the problem. After much back and forth, they managed to get the right contractors to investigate the problem only 3 months later - first there was confusion between the head office and Slough office on who sends the contractor, then they send someone to inspect the roof (when there was nothing wrong with the roof!!). By the time, the right contractors went in to inspect the issue, the problem had already worsened - it was later determined that the mold was because of a leaking pipe, which could have been identified much earlier and limited the damage significantly. Given this was not potentially the tenant's fault, it was agreed, after much deliberation, to give the tenant a compensation of 50% off on the rent for a month - but given how much of this was owing to a fault on Connell's part in getting the issue resolved promptly, I asked Connells to bear half of the loss. First Connells refused to admit they were at fault and then when I pressed on, they eventually agreed to compensate me £150 as they accepted responsibility in the delay in getting contractors in + agreed to reduce my service charge from 8% to 6%. This was agreed almost 2 months ago and I am still waiting to be compensated. Two rent cycles have gone by and Connells has done nothing to either redress the matter nor do I have the updated boiler certificate. I have sent hundreds of emails to Balreet Grewal from the Slough office and Emily Sheehan and Beth David from the head office and I have been met with radio silence. I barely managed to speak to Bal two weeks ago and he said he had instructed head office to take care of it and should be done soon, but still nothing! Why should I be caught in the cross fire between the Slough office and the head office. I pay about £100 per month to Connells for management of my flat only to be given this dreadful service. I am writing this review now because I am frankly tired of chasing Connells. Overall, I would not recommend Connells to anyone in search of reliable and efficient property management services. Their consistent delays in communication and subpar service have only served to exacerbate the situation these past few months.

I would like to say a MASSIVE thank you to Kasim, who assisted and supported me throughout the process of terminating my contract early due to personal reasons. They are professional and genuinely care about their clients. 11/10 would recommend ????????

3rd Mar 2024 (9 weeks ago)Im shocked at the level of lack professionalism disreguard of potential tennents aswell of lack of care. I arranged a viewing for saturday. Its a good job i called up to confirm and check the address. Turns out my viewing had been cancelled as property was gone. No one called me to update me. I would of been standing out side waiting in the rain and no one would of been coming. To add insult to the matter, when asked why i wasnt informed i was told there was 40-50 people viewing, they didnt have time to call so many people. The lack of care and whatever attidtude is some what concerning. So basicaly we dont care about letting you know you been cancelled. Leads me to wounder if they are the same with tennants. If something needs replacing or fixing will they even respond?
1st Mar 2024 (9 weeks ago)It was a pleasure working with Chancellors. I was in a difficult situation with a property is a run down state that needed renovation and a tenant quickly. Chancellors were amazing. I would particularly like to thank Hasem and Jennifer. Hasem made himself available to let a contractor in at 7am!. Fortunately this was not needed but it shows the extent this company will go to help landlords and tenants. I also noticed that contractors wanted to help Chancellors, so this company clearly covering all bases. THANK YOU so much for you help and making life easy for me, David

He certainly went above and beyond at every step in the process of selling my mother’s house. I would certainly recommend him and would use his services again.

18th Mar 2024 (6 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

She was not interested in discussing the property but rather just wanted the offer amount. This attitude together with reviews of how your tenants are treated tells us to stay away.

Over the years, I have been involved in selling a number of properties with varying experiences of agents and I have to say that Ammar's service was truly exceptional. My uncle sometimes gets a bit confused about dealing with administrative matters, and Ammar was very patient and thoughtful with him - it was his first house move in 50 years, so very stressful for him. Ammar's kindness and patience was very helpful as we live over an hour away. He also chased the sales process very effectively, liaising with the buyer, the solicitors involved and the sales lady at the retirement complex my uncle moved into; he kept us informed about the progress throughout. He even offered to take cuttings from a bush in the garden, and turned up on moving day to help where he could! Recommended unreservedly - thanks, Ammar!
