1st Mar 2025 (27 days ago)Both Sam and Dan looked after the sale of our property, and they've done an excellent job. It's interesting when you go and view properties for sale and see how different estate agents come across. I'd say that Gatekeeper are one of the few who remain professional throughout, which is always comforting to hear, especially when you're trusting them to sell your home. They were efficient and kept us updated with viewings and feedback. They were confident that they would be able to sell our house and they did this in just over 6 weeks. We've been very impressed with their service so far. They've been personable and always come back when you have queries. Thanks so much both!
26th Jan 2025 (9 weeks ago)We are so pleased that we chose Hamptons in Cirencester to market our property. Having lived in the same house for over 30 years we approached the thought of selling with some trepidation. However, shortly after our phone call Ian arrived and put us at ease from the outset. He provided a realistic price guide based on thorough research of similar sold properties in the area. Once we were ready to sell, our property was on the market within a week and sold subject to contract within 5 weeks. Throughout the entire process Ian, Greg and the team were always available for advice and support and their professional and friendly approach ensured that everything went as smoothly as possible liaising with all parties and keeping us regularly informed through to completion. If we were to sell again we would be straight on the phone to Hamptons.

Tim, stood out from the competitors - he was empathetic, supportive and 100% genuine. He promised the team would hold my hand throughout the process and they most certainly did that. Rachel, who dealt with the sale demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills and kept me fully informed and Christina who dealt with the post sale process was extremely helpful, efficient and kind. She is without doubt - Christina and the Sunshine! I would recommend McFarlane’s Cricklade without reservation.

I launched on Friday and accepted an offer on Tuesday! The whole process was stress-free and very professional. I would highly recommend Savills.

But after I was handed to Danny, he applied pressure and pushed us to use ASAP Assured Sale and Progression. Informing us that the sellers were going to use this too so it would make the process easier. This was not the case, not only did the sellers not use ASAP but ASAP were the worst solicitors I’ve ever seen. They wrote inaccurate reports, didn’t respond to messages or read documents sent to them. I can only assume that Danny recommended them so he could get further commissions. When it came to the day of collecting the keys, the agency didn’t even bother to meet me in person. Instead opting to leave the keys with the building receptionist and washing their hands.

The welcome pack I received when I moved in was unexpected but a really pleasant surprise, the move in and out was an uncomplicated process and would definitely use Romans in Swindon again if I ever move back there, I highly recommend them.
