8th Jul 2024 (19 days ago)Bro I was in the process of taking a shop which is owned by this company via a leaseholder and just realised that this company are the most selfish people I have ever met. They have increased the rent for that shop by 25 percent more and continue to do so for the next 5 years for the leaseholder. And the sad think was they said we don't care the tenent will have to pay the rent for the next 5 years for his lease period. And the shops next to this shop go for less than half the rent. Keep away from such people they need to understand what is theft of people's money. I hope trading standards read this review. Shonki you need you sink soon. This is not made up story this is a real. Shop toblet on London road I hope the lease holder gets help from someone to stop this day light robbery. Google should have a zero rating in place now for such companies.

Would highly recommend and I personally wouldn’t be going anywhere else

Andrew was very professional in arranging this. Zoltan who showed us round was very helpful and informative. After our offer was accepted Andrew and Sue worked hard throughout the process and was always keeping me updated throughout the process. They were both very professional and a credit to leaders. Thank you to Andrew and Sue for all there help and will definitely use them again for our next purchase

I only bought my home through them but they worked the chain hard and communicated every step. Just what people want not silence. Thank you so much to the whole team but Pippa you were amazing. James Du Pavey are wholeheartedly recommended; it's time all other estates agents woke up and become a true service.

Nothing is too much trouble and the communication throughout has been exceptional, there were some repairs needed before the new tenant moved in and these have been dealt with very swiftly. Thank you so much for making things so painless!

18th Mar 2024 (19 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

The house truly felt like home, and the management was prompt, professional, and always accommodating. We are only moving to be closer to family, but we will always be grateful for the wonderful environment and community provided. Highly recommend!
