I had moved into the property only a few months earlier and I knew how problematic finding a rental property could be. I found a property I liked and applied. Alex took over and found us a tenant in a weeks time. 18th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

25th Jun 2025 (13 days ago)Best agency in stoke on Trent to market your house. They are helpful, friendly and keep you well updated throughout the whole process. We had a different big name estate agent in the past to market my mothers house and had a terrible experience. I highly recommend these guys. Fees are also best out of the lot!

No information on what costs its going to be incurred on each works. There was nothing said to us in the pre inspection of the house before leaving instead one lady came and gave some sarcastic remarks. We lived two years in that house paid a total of £18000 to the agency and yet they captured our whole £720 deposit. Shame on such a greedy acts. If you need money earn by doing good service to the society and families instead of looting of their money. No one ever should experience such a ridiculous situation so I am writing about mine. Beware of your deposits tenants. When it comes to taking money from us they do hundreds of calls and follow ups but when it comes to giving back our money they give no information nothing and just loot. When will people learn to be courteous.
