27th Feb 2024 (10 weeks ago)The team at this office, Aaron, Marco and George have honestly been the best estate agents I’ve met during my 4 month long property search. They’re really responsive with calls, emails and texts, and have been really flexible with helping me fit viewings after work and on weekends. They helped me get an offer accepted on my first choice property, and although now the sale is not going ahead for reasons outside all of our control, they’ve been really supportive, patient and helpful while I navigate this situation. I must have met with 15 or more agents during this search and these guys are the only agency that haven’t messed me around with late cancellations/no-shows, and have seemed so honest and genuine throughout. I’ll be sticking with them to help me find another place. Thanks guys!

18th Mar 2024 (7 weeks ago)I had a terrible experience two times over with Hamptons. The first was the Clapham branch which failed to inform me for weeks of any update after placing an offer during the final stages for a place to rent. I had to personally reach out two weeks post submitting the offer to be told I had lost out. Seems a little slack for me. Then the worst of it, the Pimlico Branch, particularly an agent accurately named Henry Douch. I wrote to this one four times in order to get one simple viewing for a flat I was very keen on, just across the road from me. After finally managing to get one, he had absolutely zero knowledge or information on the apartment and seemed to "wing" the details, of which I knew more of from the advert. Despite that, the apartment was beautiful and so I followed up by requesting an offer form on numerous occasions, even though he said he'd send it right over after the viewing. Then, after putting in a very generous offer (£200 above asking price, almost perfect move-in date, long tenancy, etc.) I again had no response for over a week and so had to follow-up even more times. After getting worn out from the incomprehensibly poor communication, I decided to visit in branch to confront him. "A rabbit caught in headlights" wouldn't even justify it. I was told he was "just replying to my email" (yuh-huh) and then proceeded to offer me a multitude of excuses as to why it was taking so long and that he'd keep me informed. Finally, after not being informed yet again, I went ahead and chased some more. He surprisingly replied instantly this time to tell me that the property had been "removed from the market with no reasons from the landlord." Knowing this was a complete lie, I decided to visit the initial ad on Rightmove to discover that the property was now "Let Agreed" (posted by Hamptons) which leads me to believe he never even put my offer forward in the first place for whatever ulterior motive he may have had, so I lost out on my ideal flat with only 2 weeks remaining to find another one. Overall, absolutely appalling service and will never deal with these guys again. How there is not more protection around this kind of misconduct is beyond me.
11th Apr 2024 (23 days ago)Having dealt with lots of estate agents in the past my bar of expectations is fairly low. Rochford stokes are amazing. Incredibly personalised, quick to respond, friendly and follow through on jobs to do on our flat in Wandsworth. Couldn’t recommend enough
8th Nov 2023 (25 weeks ago)By far the worst experience with any estate agent I have ever had. When the short term tenancy is over they sent repeated lies about sending the full deposit back. On 3 occasions they said it was sent but they had not sent it. Left a review on trust pilot and they said they would get back to me but they haven't. Emailed and called countless times. Moved out August 18th and still no sign of a deposit return. If you rent from Foxtons just consider your deposit part of the rent because you will not see it again. Look into my rental case for SW112LT if you are reading this Foxtons.
26th Jan 2024 (14 weeks ago)As a new renter, Completion Sales and & Lettings were very happy to help me to obtain a property. They were quick with their responses and had all my paperwork approved within a week of visiting the property. We managed to get approved all within a week and kept in contact throughout the process. Everyone I dealt with were friendly and professional, they were able to help me with any questions I had. Overall a seamless process without fault.
11th Mar 2024 (8 weeks ago)We were informed - after being told we had an offer accepted and paying a holding deposit - that the property we intended to rent had been given to someone else, seemingly because of shoddy communication on the part of View - who later claimed they had “found required documents we had sent in Spam”. Advertised terms were ignored and we were left having handed in our notice’s with a worrying search to find somewhere else quickly because of View’s incompetence. Would strongly advise against using.
12th Apr 2024 (22 days ago)The agents at Barnard Marcus were great in helping me find my current flat. Lauren in particular was super helpful and kept me in the loop constantly throughout the bidding process and the moving in process as well! She was great and I would highly recommend the agency
19th Apr 2024 (15 days ago)Just a reminder to everyone about how Orland Reid tried their hardest to screw me a while back (unsuccessfully). They subsequently also tried to report my negative review to Google to have it deleted (also unsuccessfully). I still feel so angry about this and feel it's important to warn others about the conduct of this agency, even after some time has passed - here's my original review: AWFUL, AWFUL, AWFUL!!! These guys tried unsuccessfully to retain my deposit, blame damage on me that was not on any inventory report and charge me for "work" needed to rectify this fictitious damage using their own workmen, whose quotes for work were laughably extortionate (so no tender process/transparency and taking a cut, no doubt). I had to go through 3 months of tenancy deposit scheme adjudication to get my money back. Their staff and, importantly their owner/partner, deliberately misled me repeatedly and withheld information throughout the whole process, making it as difficult and long winded as possible. The intention must have been that I'd just get too frustrated and give up? They were also paid by the landlord to act on their behalf but at the same time claim to be totally impartial (which is impossible).They are solely motivated by money - this scamming must be part of their business plan and I cannot imagine I am the only one who has had to go through this unnecessary, time consuming and upsetting process. If I could give them zero stars I would. if I could take them to court to reclaim money for the amount of my time they wasted, I would. It makes me so angry that "Estate Agents" like this can still exist. There are so many better, more trustworthy and honest agencies out there, there really is no need to put yourself through the nightmare of dealing with Orlando Reid. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! You have been warned!

Her attention to detail and efficiency on organizing the viewings, as well as her professionalism and diligence on making sure only suitable properties would be offered to me, made this search much smoother and less time consuming. Although I've managed to come to terms with my current Landlord and ended by renewing lease on my current flat, I appreciate her time and availability during the past weeks and would not hesitate on recommending her services to any friends who need to rent a new flat in London. 20th Jan 2023 (1 year ago)I Was super unhappy with the service I received from Lux,I sold through them and really thought they where different, but in fact they worked more for the buyer rather than the seller which was really disappointing, I never really felt they told us the true situation in relation to the buyer.
