17th Sep 2026 (10 days ago)Valuation was too high and we went ahead with it thinking we will get the best value but after 8 weeks we took matters into our our hand and reduced the price by 10% . A huge drop but the property was empty and we needed to sell it . You need to do a bit if research yourself before finalising the estate agent .

Emmie-Jai conducted the viewing and assisted us with the end of our tenancy. She was always extremely welcoming and helpful. Whenever I reported a maintenance issue such as a broken dishwasher the team replied within 48 hours and sent a reliable tradesperson quickly. Communication was always polite and professional. When my tenancy ended, my full deposit was returned promptly without any hassle. Selling a house can be really stressful, but they were always there to answer questions, keep us updated and help keep everything moving.<br><br>Ria was brilliant at communicating throughout the process and always came back to us quickly, which made such a difference. From the initial valuation he guided me and kept me fully informed at every stage of the process. His proactive communication with the buyers’ and my solicitor’s was excellent. The service I received from Debbie and D’arcy was excellent . They were efficient, attentive and genuinely supportive. I cannot thank Ben, Debbie and D’arcy enough for their amazing support. I wholeheartedly recommend both Ben and Oulsnam, Hagley Road to anyone selling or buying property.

If you want a stress free easy sale this is the Estate Agents to go to. I really truly can not thank and praise them enough. The lady I dealt with was always on the ball. Pushing things through . Going the extra mile. I actually will miss the interaction we had together . Lauren (the beautiful lady) who was assigned to me is marvellous. I hope this helps some one make a wise decision if they need to sell. Use Taylors Estate Agents. You will NOT be disappointed.<br>Big thank you .

I took time off work for a viewing, submitted all the requested documents within 30 minutes afterwards, at the asking price without even negotiating, and clearly explained that I needed to secure a place urgently.<br><br>Despite this, I was later told the property had already been let agreed. This happened to me repeatedly, wasting my time and even my annual leave. My credit history and background are good, and I had no issues with the checks.<br><br>They clearly do not value prospective tenants’ time. If you want a smooth and professional experience, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Very poor service.

They have been easy to get a hold of and very quick to respond. I would definitely come back to Nicholas Humphreys next time we are selling a property.
31st Jul 2026 (8 weeks ago)Was with JM for 3 years . In my time with them they Have proven to be incompetent. No inventory just have poorly taken pictures. Switched tenant without my consent and they new tenants destroyed my house. No accountability.

I found this organization to very professional and my daughter feels very lucky to have them as the people looking after her flat as she won’t be frightened to approach them with any confirms going forward !!

14th Sep 2026 (13 days ago)I would not recommend Oakmans based on my experience.<br><br>I moved out of my property on 28 August 2026 and completed the checkout process properly. I handed my keys back in person at around 9am, the keys were scanned and photographed, and I signed the handover confirmation. I also completed and personally handed in the Deposit Release & Outgoing Services form on the same day.<br><br>Oakmans subsequently confirmed to me in writing that “the handover has been completed.”<br><br>My tenancy deposit is £1,125, and I have still received no clear update about when it will be returned. I have contacted them by email but have not received a response from the deposit team. When I called the office, I was told that deposit matters could not be discussed over the phone.<br><br>What is particularly frustrating is that I have followed the procedures Oakmans themselves provided, yet I am being left without any information about my money.<br><br>The new tenants have already moved into the property, so I expected the checkout and deposit process to be dealt with promptly.<br><br>Very poor communication and customer service. I simply want a clear explanation of the status of my £1,125 deposit and when it will be returned.<br><br>I would strongly recommend keeping written records of everything if you are renting through Oakmans.

We have purchased our new property through HS Homes, and from the start of the process to the end we have had a great service. Nicola has been fantastic and kept us updated on any developments throughout so we were always fully aware of what was happening elsewhere in the chain. We really appreciated Nicola's proactive approach and feel that without Nicola and Fran's efforts to get our sale over the line we would still be waiting to exchange. A huge thank you to HS Homes. We would strongly recommend HS Homes to anyone considering moving home.
