The team were supportive and helpful throughout and the communication was really great to keep me up dated on the process and progress. 1st Jun 2026 (11 days ago)Day 32 and still nothing! Please do not use this company. The comments from Earl below to try and reassure are utterly useless. We're now 32 days in waiting for this legal pack and still nothing and paid a ridiculous amount for the privilege of this. Not even an email or a phone call to apologise. Not, 'we'll chase it,' Nothing. And now after I've emailed, AGAIN, are they going to chase. Why weren't they - after 32 days - chasing this already. You can forgive small mistakes, but this is just utter incompetence. Day 18 and still nothing. I can’t begin to tell you how useless Martin and Co are. 1st May - took over management and told they were hopeful information would be loaded on system that afternoon. 8th May - told just a couple of more things to upload 12th May - told it’s not there responsibility and had been outsourced and had to wait 14th May - 14 days after and still nothing. Write 1 star review in frustration 16th May - MD responded to apologise and promised to get to the bottom of it 16th May - told uploaded but now the information had to ‘sync’ but we’d hear Monday morning 18th May - surprise surprise - NOTHING 19th May - finally hear but now charged £564 for a legal pack which cost me £300 last year and now, I have to wait up to ten days for this as it's outsourced again and out of their hands. To say Martin and Co disgust me is putting it lightly. They've actually made me feel physcially sick. Avoid them at all costs. There is nothing good about this company. The stress they have caused me is off the scale. The whole chain knows the stall in this sale is down to Martin & Co. Two and a half months I’ve been waiting for this legal pack to sell my property. I’m literally trapped in a property through their incompetence & the worst is knowing we haven’t even got to the point of them putting the legal pack together yet. Useless & incompetent.

8th May 2026 (5 weeks ago)It was a pleasure having Maisie Webb from Cowell Norford be involved in the sale of my property she did her upmost best to help me sell even after the first deal fell through she managed to find a buyer not soon after. I have dealt with other estate agents in the past but the staff at Cowell Norford were by far the best. Communication was always there and updates were giving regularly. ????????????

Claire Jacob has been excellent keeping me informed and up to date. Thank you Cardwells for all you’ve done to help with this sale.

The team was professional, friendly, and highly efficient throughout the entire process. They made everything smooth and stress-free, always keeping me informed and providing clear guidance along the way. Their communication was outstanding, with quick responses to any questions and a genuine willingness to help. The attention to detail and commitment to delivering a high standard of service really stood out. I would highly recommend Leaders Fallowfield to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy letting and estate agent. A truly five-star experience!

There local knowledge and reputation for selling similar properties as well as being competitively priced with their fee is what swung us towards using sell well. From the property being on the market, we sold our house within 3 weeks which was fantastic.
18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

When they reached out to us we knew straight away the customer service we would be getting would be unbeatable, made us feel like we was the only customers they was dealing with even though we know how popular they are amongst the property market! Molly was a great help, and very approachable with any questions and queries we had, the vast amount of properties they also have in there portfolio was amazing, and even better so as we have found our next property through them as well, keeping everything with the same estate agents makes moving house so much easier and simpler!
