11/10, Klaudia helped me find a beautiful place at great price.
We currently moved out from a foxtons property. And they charged the check out fee which was £165.. We never heard about this fee when moved in ..also the flat condition was domestic cleaning level when we came ! that was completely horrible so we had to clean all up. But for us, we had to hire professional cleaning team and that was £270!and the agency arranged it. That is quite prices but there were no choices. But then, the landlord complained about the cleaning things by calling. It is so upset cos the foxton didn't let us know anything about the whole situation. They rearranged the cleaning team but didn't notice to us and also the landlord. What a joke !
I have been letting a flat for the past year and a half with Alex Neil and just wanted to leave a review. They have been very helpful, always responding to emails and calls efficiently and liaising in a timely manner with contractors to help us get the best out of our flat. As a flat we have really been able to depend on Lucia especially to help us out. I would recommend Alex Neil as a letting agency and look forward to using their assistance again if needed when searching for future properties.
My experience with Alex Neil has been average. They do the required amount of work as per any tenancy agency, and fix things as needed. Their fees however are complete extortion - they made us pay £500 to switch a tenant on the contract, and even charge £60 just to give a reference to another agency! I have lived in numerous residencies across London using different agents and I've never seen such high fees (the fact that there are fees for tenants at all is bad enough, but they have completely taken advantage of this). Given the extremity of the fees I would avoid going with them again and would suggest any future tenants to look at the fine print before signing anything (and make sure you have the fine print, as they only supplied this to me when I requested to see it). Overall leaving feeling completely ripped off.
Very cooperative and helpful staff especially the perason dealt with me. Thank you very much for finding me such a good property and helping in early move in.
I takes on average 932 emails and 82 calls to sort whatever. Pray to whomever you believe that nothing breaks in your property. The fancy "House Maintenance Service" isn't as fancy after all, as I need to wait for over 3 weeks to fix the dishwasher.
Overall, I bet they manage too many properties, and don't put enough effort to keep the level of service on the high level after you sign the papers. By "not enough effort" I mean they don't give a f**k about you.
If they have the most amazing place that fits your budget and location preferences, go for it. Other ways, look for a different Property Manager.
Working to a very tight deadline, Russell Stone at WJMeade worked hard and efficiently to get our flat on the market. His valuation must have been the right one: we had an offer which we accepted in a matter of days. Russell is a seasoned professional - he knows his market.
We asked the agent if he can drive us to the agency after the viewing. He said he was not going back to the agency. So we took a walk, and when we were passing the agency he was there.
My partner and I just purchased our new home through Butler and Stag. We are very happy with the way they dealt with everything. they were on the ball through the whole process, very professional and informative. We dealt with Michael at the Bow office and he did a great job of overseeing the negotiation and completion. Superb
Letting process is poor. Arrogant and unprofessional staff who lack human touch.
