3rd Jul 2026 (26 days ago)Every now and then, I have the good fortune to come across a truly outstanding company, and my recent experience with Paris Steele was definitely one of those increasingly rare occasions.<br><br>From my very first contact through to the successful sale of my late relative’s property, the team at Paris Steele provided an exceptional service. They were professional, friendly, efficient and, above all, focused on what mattered to me. Nothing was ever too much trouble. They listened, they acted, and they consistently delivered on what they promised.<br><br>Their online portal was excellent and made it easy to follow every stage of the sales process. At any time I could see the number of online views, brochure downloads, viewing appointments, feedback from prospective buyers, notes of interest and, ultimately, the offers received. It was informative, intuitive and gave me complete confidence throughout the whole sales process.<br><br>I originally chose Paris Steele because of the many glowing reviews I had read online. I must admit I usually take reviews with a pinch of salt, but having bought and sold several properties over the years, I can honestly say that Paris Steele have provided the finest estate agency service I have ever experienced.<br><br>A huge thank you to the entire team, and especially to Lorna for getting the property on the market so quickly, and to Carole for her outstanding negotiation skills and expertise in securing an excellent outcome.<br><br>As you’ve probably gathered, I was absolutely delighted with the service I received. They ensured that all the legal procedures were completed exactly when they needed to be, keeping the entire process moving seamlessly. Thanks to their efficiency and proactive approach, everything was perfectly aligned on completion day and we managed to get the keys for our new house first thing in the morning! Moving can be incredibly stressful, but Connor malcolm Solicitors excellent timing and professionalism gave us complete peace of mind. We highly recommend his services!
3rd Nov 2023 (2 years ago)(While the company did finally provide compensation, it's important to note that I still experienced a significant opportunity cost as a result of their actions.) It has undeniably been the most regrettable experience of my lifetime, dealing with a solicitor team that exhibited a severe lack of professionalism and courtesy. Initially, I placed my trust in them based on their positive Google reviews, which now appear to be misleading and have led to significant frustration and inconvenience on my part. The solicitor in question was Shari, who astonishingly took a full year to complete the anti-money laundering check, despite my having submitted all required documents promptly. To compound matters, she repeatedly requested the same information, leading to redundant submissions. Regrettably, she ceased all communication, failing to respond to both my emails and those from the seller's side. My attempts to reach her went unanswered for two months until she seemingly disappeared without a trace. I was dismayed to find myself in such a predicament. In desperation, I enlisted the assistance of the estate agent, who contacted Joni, the National Head of Conveyancing. However, this interaction proved to be equally disheartening, as Joni not only displayed a lack of professionalism but also declined to provide any insight into the unilateral breach of contract, responding in a profane manner. I strongly advise against engaging with this company. As a result of their inefficiency, my funds remained in limbo within my bank account, as I had initially believed they could promptly resolve their business matters. Consequently, I have incurred substantial financial losses due to the failure of Simpson & Marwick to deliver on their commitments.

Having always lived in England, we were daunted by the thought of a very different property market in Scotland but we were helped on every step of the way. Claire C was our initial contact and was so patient and supportive, explaining the system and nothing was too much trouble. Once we found a property to buy, Claire S was our solicitor. Again, she was patient, understanding and so helpful as well as being efficient, timely and diligent with all the legal work. She kept us well informed and involved at every step. We also had a lot of help and support from Suzie and Sheila, plus other members of the team. We are very grateful to them all and highly recommend Neilsons.

Having been so impressed with the sale of my first property, I had no hesitation in asking them to handle the sale of a second—and they certainly didn't disappoint.<br><br>Their friendly, personal approach and excellent local knowledge made the whole process straightforward from start to finish. Communication was always prompt and clear, and I always felt they had my best interests at heart. Most impressively, they found a buyer for my second property within just two weeks of it going on the market.<br><br>It's refreshing to deal with an independent estate agent that genuinely cares about its clients and provides such a high level of service. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Truscott Properties to anyone looking to buy or sell a home. They have now delivered excellent results for me twice within a year, and I would happily use them again in the future.

Jayne gives informed and realistic advice, taking excellent photos/videos for listing. Fiona is consistently diligent and went above and beyond to ensure we could get our keys on time. 17th Jul 2026 (12 days ago)Please stay clear of this company. They are highly unprofessional and have no desire to stand by their own terms and work in a smooth and timely manner. They do not stay updated on any progress when working through a purchase of a property and do not act as if they want to get to completion within their own 60-day terms. I had two occasions on the same property when a mortgage valuation was booked in, and the Jack Senior at Let Property assured me the first would be completed. Once no one turned up at the property to allow access for the valuation, it had to be rebooked, and when I spoke to Jack again he assured me 100% someone would be there. But again, when the valuer arrived at the property no one was there to allow access. Also during the process it would take days, sometimes a week, to get a simple bit of info or just a return call from Jack or anyone at Let Property. They set 60-day completion terms, which I was happy to work to and moved fast on my side, but when they constantly delayed things, it got to the point nothing was moving foward. On top of this, they take a reservation deposit and will not refund it has we are past the 60-day terms even with the delays being their own fault. I would highly recommend staying clear and using any other company. I have found Pure Investor to be very professional, helpful and hardworking to make sure both the seller and buyer are happy and continue to get things moving forward.
