28th Feb 2016 (10 years ago)I really like this place. I have been several times over the last few years and I have never had a bad experience. It's difficult to predict when it will be busy and whether you'd need to book a table - I've been on occasions when I'd expect it to be busy and it's been very quiet (and vice versa). The food is great, the staff are really friendly and it's reasonably priced. Well worth the visit.

24th Sep 2026 (3 days ago)The agent proved to be very knowledgeable about the area,from a selling perspective, and provided regular status updates throughout the process. He was the sole point of contact and always available acting very promptly at every stage. A real pleasure to deal with!
8th Aug 2026 (7 weeks ago)If I could give zero stars, I would.<br><br>Renting through Northwood has been one of the most stressful and frustrating experiences I've ever had. The biggest let-down by far was the maintenance department. Getting issues dealt with was an exhausting process, with poor communication, long delays, and very little urgency.<br><br>If you are a landlord paying extra for this maintenance service. If I were I would be concerned firstly how your tenants are being treated but secondly how your house is also being looked after. The way maintenance issues were handled throughout our tenancy reflected very poorly on the service being provided.<br><br>The end of the tenancy was just as disappointing. The checkout inspection was conveniently booked for the day after we had returned the keys, meaning we had no opportunity to attend or raise any concerns during the inspection.<br><br>Getting our deposit back then became a constant battle. Instead of a fair and straightforward process, my emails were ignored until I raised this with the TDS.<br><br>Throughout the tenancy, communication was poor, problems dragged on, and there was very little accountability from there side.<br><br>I genuinely can't recommend Northwood based on my experience. There are far better letting agents out there. Based on my experience I would never rent with Northwood again.- 15th Nov 2021 (4 years ago)Tom Ward was always there to help us and kept us in the loop at all times. He was understanding when hurdles cropped up and always showed patience and compassion to my elderly mother. A great agent in all respects but in this case with assisted living properties.

20th Mar 2025 (1 year ago)Robert Butterworth was excellent to deal with. Very kind, patient, honest and understanding. He went above and beyond to help sell the house with great efficiency given the complexities and circumstances behind the sale. Would highly recommend using Robert (and Jackson-Stops) as an estate agency and would use them again in future if ever looking to buy or sell again.

3rd Oct 2024 (1 year ago)Recently sold a property in Guildford; It was a long and tortuous process complicated by the fact that I am living overseas and was very poorly advised as to finding a settlement agent. A first real estate agent made unrealistic market assertions regarding the market then followed up by passing the work to office juniors. Eventually I re-marketed through Kings and was fortunate to have Bipen working on my property. Bipen personally conducted viewings and found a buyer in reasonable time, then worked to achieve a mutually acceptable outcome; Unfortunately, this was only the start- dealing through disinterested settlement lawyers on both sides of the deal was so tedious that I came close to abandoning the sale; Somehow, and mainly through Bipen’s perseverance and patience, the deal was eventually settled and both myself and the buyer can move on. Many thanks to Bipen for sticking with this one- his diligence was literally the only thing between a sale and returning to the rental market! Great outcome all round- Many thanks!

31st Aug 2026 (27 days ago)Would appear the house was over valued by the estate agent so setting wrong expectations about what price could be achieved. Minimal viewings Person showing the house (not the exp lead) arrived at the same time as the potential buyers so house wasn’t opened up or displayed to best advantage No communication from the estate agent I would not use exp again. Very disappointed.

If trust could be an estate agents sign, Hers would read ‘Sold’ every time. So if Balham’s where your search begins, You’ll want Elizabeth working with you till the end.
