21st Oct 2023 (6 mo. ago)Andrew , Patrick and Ian and colleagues at Hamilton & Stiller were supportive throughout the process from advertising our property, updated us after viewings and gave us advise regarding sale price , negotiations when selling. The photos of our house were exceptional and the photographer did a drone photo of our property and garden which we have kept. Would highly recommend this team in Ross-On-Wye branch. Great teamwork, consistent communication and support thank you.

Once we found our perfect place they were always available to help with queries and to move the whole process on efficiently and effectively. I would have no hesitation in recommending this small and personal agency

The team have always been helpful and responsive and we couldn’t have asked for better service.

From the first management of the bidding process to the handover of the keys on completion Tom’s was a calm and reassuring voice. We are confident that he served the Vendors well but from the moment our offer was accepted we felt he was on our side too. The very few issues were smoothly managed. A personal touch throughout.

We were fully supported throughout the entire selling process with Chris meeting potential buyers at the house, helping to negotiate the best sale for the house and then communicating with solicitors and our buyer to ensure the sale ran smoothly. We would highly recommend Powells.
18th Mar 2024 (6 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
