11th Apr 2026 (24 days ago)I’ve had an extremely frustrating experience with this estate agent and would strongly advise others to think twice before using them. Communication has been consistently poor throughout. Emails are routinely ignored, and I’ve had to chase them multiple times just to get the most basic updates. Even then, responses are often delayed and unhelpful, leaving me feeling completely out of the loop. On top of that, there’s been a serious lack of professionalism when it comes to viewings. On more than one occasion, the property was left unlocked afterwards, which is completely unacceptable and raises obvious security concerns. To make matters worse, the property was removed from Zoopla and nothing was done to resolve the issue for over a month. This kind of inaction is incredibly disappointing, especially when you rely on online listings to attract potential buyers. Overall, the service has been careless, unresponsive, and poorly managed. I would not recommend this agent to anyone looking for a reliable and professional service.

18th Jul 2024 (1 year ago)Wanted details on the Southwell Prebend house after a while I received it requested further information and a guidance on price and a viewing no reply a very well known Southwell resident who I visit discussed it with me ,I wasn't saying I was going to buy it but it would have helped if I was at the very least been given further information . Any how I gave up!! As far as I'm aware unless an agreement has been made which hasn't it should be open for a viewing.

House sold within timescales and got kept me informed of all stages viabthere app which is an excellent bit of kit to monitor the progress of the sale amd see viewing feedback.

Becky and Aliya in particular were standout members of staff during the viewings and offer stage, with Emily then handling the sales progression efficiently and ensuring everything moved smoothly and was thoroughly explained. From accepting the offer to completing took around 10-weeks and this was in large thanks to Becky and Emily's persistence! The initial photos and service were also fantastic and the wider team were all very friendly. Would recommend!

Despite numerous challenges that were no fault of hers, Vicky remained positive and professional at all times. She was upbeat, solution focussed and never once lost heart or patience with me. You only find out how good someone is when they come up against a problem and I can tell you - Vicky and the team at Maynard’s are absolutely first class!

There was also a poor understanding of the local area. Far below the standard we expected from Fine & Country. Turned up 20 minutes late to the appointment - no apology! Clearly didn’t want to market the house - absolutely appalling, unprofessional and rude.
