Already booked the day off so fuming at the complete dis regard of this outfit. Completely unprofessional and extremely arrogant in my opinion!!!! Lesson learned!!!

Especially impressed by the quality of the viewings where are assigned viewing agent knew our property in and out, and was able to guage interest extremely effecitvely

Oliver and the team went the extra mile and even showed me a property on a Sunday as I work full time a weekends just so I didn’t miss out! I spent 5 very happy years in a home in York thanks to Stephensons would recommend them to anyone first time every time ??????

2nd Dec 2025 (8 mo. ago)Awful service. Had to take several attempts to get photographs right and then proceeded to gossip to our neighbours about our personal moving plans. Very unprofessional and a serious breach of client confidentiality. Avoid unless you want your personal plans revealing to your entire local area.
30th Jul 2026 (14 days ago)We sold our flat within 2 days via Furnell , Ben was great in setting up the sale , solid advertising and a very competitive price for there services.<br>The star of the show in there team was Emma who coordinated the sale with our buyer , we received regular updates and Emma was really good at chasing up both solicitors, Emma your a star and this service really makes the Furnell agency stand out ahead of the crowed in the area .<br>It’s excellent customer service , and having moved and sold several times it’s the easiest we have ever had .<br>Ps the local Agent we bought from never contacted us through out the process and was very uncaring.<br>A Big thanks to Furnells . Well done guys .

22nd Jul 2024 (2 years ago)I have dealt with thomlinsons for nearly 13 years and have always found the staff to be friendly if I had any issues they were dealt with as soon as they could I have mostly dealt with Jane Bruce at wetherby what a lovely lady Jane is my emails and calls were always replied to as soon as possible I have not ever not had a response Jane is knowledgeable on all aspects of housing matters and is a kind caring lady I would not hesitate to use thomlinsons again

26th Jul 2026 (18 days ago)Hello everyone,<br><br>I want to share my experience with this company—if you can even call it an agency.<br><br>At first, they kept calling me. I ignored them several times, but eventually they convinced me to sign a one-year contract as a landlord so they could manage my property and find tenants. Since it was my first time renting out a property, there were a lot of things I didn’t know, and unfortunately I overlooked some important details in the contract.<br><br>They found tenants, but they rented the house out by individual rooms, which is not very convenient. Later, the person who had passed the referencing checks moved out and left someone else living there instead. As far as I understand, this is a breach of the tenancy agreement.<br><br>The tenants often pay late, but even when they do pay and send me proof of payment, the agency still delays transferring the rent to me. They ignore my calls and don’t respond to my messages.<br><br>I even went to their office, where I was told that someone would call me back within five minutes. They did call and promised to sort everything out immediately, but another week has passed and I still haven’t been paid. Now they’re telling me they will send me an email explaining what they are going to do, while they continue holding my money.<br><br>This has been happening every single month. I still have five months left on my contract with them, and I honestly don’t know how this will end. I have a feeling they’re going to cost me even more money.<br><br>At least it has been a valuable lesson, and my advice is simple: avoid this agency and choose a professional one that keeps its promises and does its job properly.<br><br>Hart Estate has been completely unprofessional in my experience, and I would strongly advise anyone considering them to stay away from them.. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I am updating my previous review because the situation has become even worse.<br><br>I still have not received the money I am owed. For June, I only received half of the payment, and for July I have received nothing at all. Nobody seems willing to take responsibility. Every time I contact the agency, I am ignored or one person blames another. I have been told that my case has been passed to the director, but nothing has changed.<br><br>This is not the first time this has happened. Around three months ago, my payment was also delayed for about a month. The director only contacted me after I said I was considering legal action. I was given an apology and promised that I would receive the money soon, but it is disappointing that it takes that much pressure before anyone responds.<br><br>I have sent multiple emails and have received no reply. I feel completely ignored.<br><br>I even offered to let the agency keep their 6% management fee for the remaining six months of our contract if they would simply end our agreement, but they refused.<br><br>At this point, I am considering asking my tenants to pay me directly instead of paying through the agency until this matter is resolved. My tenants have also expressed that they are unhappy with the service they have received.<br><br>I hope this issue is resolved as soon as possible, but based on my experience I cannot recommend this agency.

He gave sound advice on offers and negotiated quickly with potential purchasers to achieve a price and sale agreeable to our requirements.<br>Great communication and feedback throughout the sale.<br>Many thanks Phil and your team.??????????????????

As a firm they don’t simply rely on RightMove, but instead Monroe offer a wealth of potential buyers who they take the time to match with the right property. Communication has been excellent, with good commercial and supportive advice always available. Monroe took time to learn about our house and delivered continuity with both viewings and feedback. Once we had agreed a sale Monroe’s sales progression coordinator ensured that all solicitors in our chain were kept in the loop and that potential delays were unblocked by exceptional communication skills. Having used a number of estate agents over the years we have never had such an excellent service and enjoyable experience as we have with the team at Monroe. 15th Jul 2026 (29 days ago)We honestly couldn’t recommend North Residential highly enough!!<br><br>From the very beginning, it felt like we genuinely mattered to them, rather than just being another sale. The level of care, communication and personal service was outstanding throughout the whole process.<br><br>We dealt mainly with Ashleigh and Scott, but every single member of the team was fantastic. Nothing was ever too much trouble. They really listened to what we wanted and were incredibly accommodating. With two young children, we asked if viewings could be kept to just one day a week, and they completely respected our wishes without any issues.<br><br>A special mention has to go to Ashleigh. She was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. She is so warm, bubbly and approachable, but also incredibly knowledgeable and professional. No question was ever too much, and her advice and reassurance throughout the whole process were invaluable. She made what could have been a really stressful experience feel so much easier, and it genuinely felt like she cared about getting the best outcome for us. Thankyou Ashleigh!<br><br>All communication was excellent throughout, especially having a dedicated WhatsApp group where any questions were answered quickly and updates were always shared promptly. We always felt informed and supported every step of the way.<br><br>Selling a house can be stressful, but the whole team at North Residential made the experience as smooth and straightforward as possible. We genuinely couldn’t fault them and are so grateful for everything they did.<br><br>We’ve already recommended North Residential to friends, who have since chosen to use them too, and we’d happily recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell a home.<br><br>Thank you to Ashleigh, Scott and the whole team for such an amazing service.
