From a viewing at 10:45 to 1pm, a holding deposit was paid and the flat was taken off the market. Huge thanks to Daniel for all his help, cannot wait to move into a lovely new flat!!

21st May 2026 (23 days ago)We originally chose Melissa for our sale because she sold the house to us when we bought it 5 years ago, and we had such a positive experience as buyers that we felt confident she would do a great job for us as sellers too. Her valuation came in around £25k higher than two other local agents but this didn't feel like an enlarged number just to secure our business, we felt that she really understood the value of the property and this was proven correct as we agreed (and completed on) on a value that was £17k above that. It made it very clear to us that other local agents are pricing aggressively to get quick sales rather than the best value for their clients. Thankfully, Melissa was also the agent on the property we purchased and it just made for a very easy transaction. A huge thank you as well to Geraldine, who was brilliant throughout and handled the viewings (I think about 16+ in one day) perfectly. We’re incredibly grateful for all the effort from both Melissa and her team and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

6th Jun 2026 (7 days ago)I started off selling my property with Purplebricks and had a terrible experience (the worst customer service I've experienced in my life), I ended up in a position where I had found my dream house and was on the edge of losing it due to the incompetence of Purplebricks. However, Sharon Prestwood and the team at Cousins stepped in and they were fantastic. In less than a week they had my house back on the market and I had 3 solid offers the first day it was on the market. They did absolutely amazing, and I really cannot thank them enough for all their hard work. I couldn't recommend them enough.

1st Jun 2026 (12 days ago)Day 32 and still nothing! Please do not use this company. The comments from Earl below to try and reassure are utterly useless. We're now 32 days in waiting for this legal pack and still nothing and paid a ridiculous amount for the privilege of this. Not even an email or a phone call to apologise. Not, 'we'll chase it,' Nothing. And now after I've emailed, AGAIN, are they going to chase. Why weren't they - after 32 days - chasing this already. You can forgive small mistakes, but this is just utter incompetence. Day 18 and still nothing. I can’t begin to tell you how useless Martin and Co are. 1st May - took over management and told they were hopeful information would be loaded on system that afternoon. 8th May - told just a couple of more things to upload 12th May - told it’s not there responsibility and had been outsourced and had to wait 14th May - 14 days after and still nothing. Write 1 star review in frustration 16th May - MD responded to apologise and promised to get to the bottom of it 16th May - told uploaded but now the information had to ‘sync’ but we’d hear Monday morning 18th May - surprise surprise - NOTHING 19th May - finally hear but now charged £564 for a legal pack which cost me £300 last year and now, I have to wait up to ten days for this as it's outsourced again and out of their hands. To say Martin and Co disgust me is putting it lightly. They've actually made me feel physcially sick. Avoid them at all costs. There is nothing good about this company. The stress they have caused me is off the scale. The whole chain knows the stall in this sale is down to Martin & Co. Two and a half months I’ve been waiting for this legal pack to sell my property. I’m literally trapped in a property through their incompetence & the worst is knowing we haven’t even got to the point of them putting the legal pack together yet. Useless & incompetent.

The staff have been wonderful to deal with, always kept myself updated throughout the whole process putting customer relations and quality first. I would like to especially thank Zac and Georgia, very professional and efficient. Will use Pearson again.

There local knowledge and reputation for selling similar properties as well as being competitively priced with their fee is what swung us towards using sell well. From the property being on the market, we sold our house within 3 weeks which was fantastic.- 15th Dec 2025 (5 mo. ago)The services provided is so bad, one of their staff called talking so disrespectfully as though he is doing me a favour by selling house to me, the day we went to collect key after the sale fall through they attended to us so shabbily, I only went through with the sale because we already gone far...but this team is terrible

31st May 2026 (13 days ago)The team at Bentley Hurst have been a pleasure to work with. I have been trying to sell my apartment, but due to tough economic environment the market is a little slow. However the selling side have been very proactive, with Joe, Tegan, Rebecca, and James all aiding the original sale. Then more recenlty Poppy and Olivia have been geting it ready to rent. Their enthusiasm comes across when talking to them or seeing them in their office. They have incredible communication skills, both verbally and in their emails. They are quick to respond and always willing to help. Their insight and guidance has been gratefully received
