25th Sep 2026 (5 weeks ago)I recently bought and sold with Irwin Scott and could not recommend them enough- Dan was extremely helpful in finding us a buyer and helping us secure the property we loved. Alban’s customer service was second to none when it come to completing paperwork and securing moving dates. A local boutique friendly estate agent who I would use time and time again :)
16th May 2026 (24 weeks ago)Not surprised to see some poor reviews here. I used Oakwood (Mottingham) before Covid for property management when moving abroad. They did not lodge the tenants deposit with DPS, and sent me a fake certificate when I asked for evidence. Daniel told me a temp worker had pocketed the deposit when he was on holiday and that she had produced the certificate (rubbish). He also did not follow due process when the tenants moved into the property which meant I had little chance for legal recourse should the tenants fall behind in rent. Oakwoods also did not provide me with a proper property management contract between them and myself, playing dumb when I asked for one. Unfortunately, this was my first time renting out a property and it was a learning experience. Agree with another reviewer that they only seemed to care about the sales side of the business.

In all my years of dealing with Estate Agents i have never met such a professional, knowledgeable and simply lovely agent. Thank you so much for making our viewing such a pleasureable experience!
17th Jan 2022 (4 years ago)Unfortunately, they couldn't find a buyer for my stunning flat themselves and had to enlist an outside estate agent, and had me stump up extra money to help compensate them. So they got it done after the end of the contact term, but it cost me £thousands more. This was after they earlier had asked me to agree to halt showings as demanded by an earlier (lower) offer that I reluctantly accepted. That buyer ended up walking weeks later, wasting precious time that could have been spent finding a real buyer. Estate agents are not your friend. No matter how charming they appear before their engagement contract is signed, once you sign it, they revert to their true mercenary selves, pressuring you to accept offers well below the very valuation they provided, because their only loyalty is to earning their fee. Don't get fooled. Wish I never used this JDW office.

Although the process took some time, I’m really pleased that the sale has finally gone through and I can move on to the next chapter of my life! ?????? I truly appreciate all their support.

I was viewing on my own with two small children and she accommodated us fantastically and kept my eldest entertained so I could focus on the property. She was incredibly caring and no questions were too much to ask.

7th Jul 2026 (17 weeks ago)When it comes to choosing an estate agent, it is imperative that you select an agent that is capable of delivering all aspects of the sales process. Finding the buyer(s), managing the offer(s) and getting to a sales memorandum is only the start and in many cases the easy bit! What happens next is where the magic happens and where Fine&Country excel. Many property sales these days involve buyers conducting multiple surveys; building, electrical, gas, oil, solar, drains, sewage, water products eg pools, jacuzzi, wood burner/chimney, radon gas. The output from these surveys can be overwhelming for both the potential buyers and sellers. Fine&Country help manage the resulting back and forth enquiries both professionally and with care, ensuring both parties remain engaged and that sensible outcomes are achieved. Many other Agencies would leave this process entirely between the buyer and seller which could either dramatically increase the time to completion or worst case result in no sale. Fine&Country level of care throughout the sale process is exemplary and I highly recommend them to get the job done, so like us, you can move on with your life!

26th May 2026 (23 weeks ago)Duncan came to view and value our 6 bedroom property in Egerton …stayed for an hour and a half …. left promising to send detailed email valuation … two weeks later still nothing despite calling the office to check he had the correct details. Not very professional and not a good sign. Won’t be proceeding with savills

The team are very reactive and quick to call back/chase things. I had a few things that needed sorting after moving in and they had contractors in the same/next day.

Minimal viewings Person showing the house (not the exp lead) arrived at the same time as the potential buyers so house wasn’t opened up or displayed to best advantage No communication from the estate agent I would not use exp again. Very disappointed.
1st Oct 2026 (5 weeks ago)My wife and I had a viewing at a property in Abbey Street Faversham, a young lady named Lola met us on time and introduced herself, Lola is a very friendly engaging young lady I obviously obviously was keen to help us Lola had obviously researched the property and any questions we asked Lola was on top of.<br>My wife and myself were very comfortable with Lola, who we found very Professional and a credit to O’Connells.
