23rd Jun 2026 (14 weeks ago)My estate agent ghosted me!<br><br>I listed my two-bed flat for sale with Melissa Berry in May. It was my first time selling a property, and thankfully Melissa seemed helpful and friendly at the valuation, although she did seem to take my lead on pricing the property rather than guiding me towards a price that she thought would be a best fit. A couple of weeks later she came to take photos – and that was, sadly, the last I saw or heard of her.<br><br>The property had been on the market for a couple of weeks when I emailed to check in, and asked whether there’d been any interest. I did get a reply from a sales agent called Geraldine, saying that someone was interested in viewing the property but wouldn’t be able to visit for a couple of weeks; I replied straight away with my availability and asked what sort of time the viewing would go ahead. No response.<br><br>A week later, I emailed again to ask if the viewing was going ahead. Again, I was ignored. I tried calling, and left messages. Finally, after waiting another week, I emailed one last time to say that I was going to list the flat with another agent and asking Melissa/Geraldine to remove it from their listings. I expected a reply to that, at least – but instead they quietly took the property off their website, again without replying to my email.<br><br>I wasted over a month trying to work with Melissa Berry, only to be completely ghosted and treated as though I didn’t exist. Whether it was something I said or the business has just taken on more clients than it can handle, I recommend avoiding them unless you enjoy the silent treatment: there are plenty of other agencies out there.
18th Sep 2026 (8 days ago)The worst experience. I was at a property with my family of 3 children. Then i hear the door ring. I answer one of their workers called "aron" pushed his way in the property and trespassed in the property that i rented. And started raising his voice and telling me to leave because i no longer can stay there, while my children were asleep. He kept on threatening me with the police and saying that i am not supposed to be there, all of this inside my house. After his threats he tried to get extra rent money if i wanted to stay. Then i called the other agent that i rented it from and had him talk to "Aron". Then it turned out that he didnt bother to get an update before trespassing and threatening me and scaring my whole family. He just left with out an apology. Then he had the audacity to call me again to see if he can score more money out of me and i refused. A couple of days after this incident he made his secretary call me to empty the property because the have viewing appointments to rent out the property. When i declined, people started knocking on my door at odd hours for viewing. Which made my stay a nightmare. I should have called my lawyers and the police on him day one. But because i was a tourist i didnt know the laws. But now i do. If anyone is looking for an agency. I would never recommend this agency because of their discrimination and threats and unprofessionalism. I give them negative five stars if i could.

The girls were absolutely fantastic throughout — always helpful, approachable and nothing was ever too much to ask.<br><br>Their communication was impeccable. They kept us informed every step of the way, were always open and honest, and went above and beyond to make sure everything stayed on track.<br><br>We’re so grateful for all their hard work, support and guidance in helping us purchase our new family home. The team are so experienced and so professional in all they do , I felt like I was part of their family , nothing was to much trouble for them , I would definitely recommend habitat to anyone who wants to rent or sell . A massive thank you to all the team for really looking and supporting me whilst I was with them .

She was there every step of the way providing both information and reassurances throughout the sale. Would highly recommend them for anyone looking to purchase a property.

My initial valuation with John was professional and informative, the team in the office were always friendly and incredibly helpful, and Michelle was fantastic during the final stages before completion, answering any queries promptly and making everything run smoothly.<br>They really made what can be a challenging and stressful process feel much easier. Having used different estate agents in the past, I can honestly recommend Kirkham with complete confidence and wouldn't hesitate to use them again in the future.<br><br>Thank you to the whole team for such a great experience!- 11th Feb 2026 (7 mo. ago)Excellent service up to now. 8th Sep 2026 (18 days ago)When the agent came round to value to vale the property it was very relaxed. They were no pressure in selling and explained the process and answered any queries putting us at ease considering this was the first time selling what was our first family home. Once the house was listed, Reside dealt with all the viewings and fit it around us generally conducting group viewings so it was less intrusive on our family life. Once sold they kept in regular contact with us and the buyers to help the sale complete.
