16th Jul 2026 (10 weeks ago)I received the most appalling treatment by the man who was answering my calls to try and arrange a viewing one of this agency's rental properties.<br>For over the course of more than a week, I had to chase them repeatedly because I wasn't receiving any updates. One member of staff had previously told me the delay was because they were unable to reach the current tenant. However, when this man answered my calls, I was given a completely different explanation.<br><br>The most concerning part was the way I was spoken to. I had previously asked a simple question to ask about what the neighbours were like, which is a perfectly reasonable question when considering where to live. Instead of answering professionally or simply saying they couldn't comment, he sighed, even raised his voice, and told me it's an 'unusual request'. He also repeatedly mentioned a 'difficult neighbour' in the building, despite the fact this had nothing to do with the viewing as he was not living adjacent to the flat I was enquiring about, it was also unrelated to the questions I was asking.<br><br>Throughout the conversation I was made to feel like I was inconveniencing him to simply arrange a viewing. Other agencies have been professional and tried to help me, instead I received total disrespect and was shouted at over the phone. Absolutely disgraceful behaviour and 0 respect towards customers. It's no wonder there are so many 1 star reviews saying how rude they are. Avoid.

16th Oct 2025 (11 mo. ago)We cannot recommend Hamptons at Henley-on-Thames highly enough. Ben Baker was excellent from first meeting through to eventual Completion - polite, reliable and efficient, as also were Ceri and his support team. Moving after 34 years was always going to be challenging, but Hamptons made the whole process much easier for us. We are glad we chose them.

She was always available at whatever time (frequent 10pm email conversations!) and even when she was abroad for a few days when we completed. We had a very complicated purchase during which Sara communicated with solicitors, other estate agents, vendors living abroad, and our purchasers to make everything happen with a great deal of tact and common sense. Our purchase and sale would not have happened without her.

A special thank you to Alex and Josh, who were both incredibly friendly, helpful and professional from start to finish.<br><br>They were always happy to answer any questions I had, kept me informed throughout the process. They made what can be quite a stressful process feel so much easier and straightforward.<br><br>I would definitely recommend Waterfords to anyone looking to rent a property!

We had really excellent support from Sylwia, so kind and so professional. Throughout a tricky process, Sylwia handled everything for us and got the right outcome for us. We really felt that we mattered to her, as well as the whole Davis Tate team. I recommend Sylwia and the whole team wholeheartedly.
8th Aug 2026 (7 weeks ago)If I could give zero stars, I would.<br><br>Renting through Northwood has been one of the most stressful and frustrating experiences I've ever had. The biggest let-down by far was the maintenance department. Getting issues dealt with was an exhausting process, with poor communication, long delays, and very little urgency.<br><br>If you are a landlord paying extra for this maintenance service. If I were I would be concerned firstly how your tenants are being treated but secondly how your house is also being looked after. The way maintenance issues were handled throughout our tenancy reflected very poorly on the service being provided.<br><br>The end of the tenancy was just as disappointing. The checkout inspection was conveniently booked for the day after we had returned the keys, meaning we had no opportunity to attend or raise any concerns during the inspection.<br><br>Getting our deposit back then became a constant battle. Instead of a fair and straightforward process, my emails were ignored until I raised this with the TDS.<br><br>Throughout the tenancy, communication was poor, problems dragged on, and there was very little accountability from there side.<br><br>I genuinely can't recommend Northwood based on my experience. There are far better letting agents out there. Based on my experience I would never rent with Northwood again.

I have been dealing with different estate agents since moving over to the UK 4 years ago and Urvashi has been the best by far. They are always available, quick to respond, and genuinely willing to help whenever we have any questions or concerns.<br><br>As a small family who recently moved to the UK, finding a new home and settling into a new country can be quite challenging. Homebase Property made the whole process much easier and less stressful for us. We really appreciate their patience, understanding and support throughout the process.<br><br>A special thank you to Lee for being so helpful, kind and supportive. 31st Aug 2026 (27 days ago)Would appear the house was over valued by the estate agent so setting wrong expectations about what price could be achieved. Minimal viewings Person showing the house (not the exp lead) arrived at the same time as the potential buyers so house wasn’t opened up or displayed to best advantage No communication from the estate agent I would not use exp again. Very disappointed.

6th Sep 2026 (21 days ago)I bought a house a few months ago through Bridges, and my experience has been extremely disappointing.<br><br>My main issue was with Mrs Rosser, who was the person I was dealing with throughout the process.<br><br>I originally made an offer on the property, and Jo personally told me that my offer had been accepted. A few days later, while I was on holiday, I received an email saying that the property was actually going ahead at the original asking price. As you can imagine, I was extremely stressed, upset and completely gobsmacked.<br><br>When I questioned what had happened and explained that something clearly wasn't right, Jo told me that my offer had been put forward to the seller and that the seller had rejected it. I was then told that I had subsequently counter-offered the original asking price.<br><br>I was absolutely gobsmacked.<br><br>I had been told by Jo that my offer had been accepted, and I had never made a counter-offer. I was also never told that my offer had been rejected. To then be told afterwards that this was supposedly what had happened was incredibly upsetting. Especially when it did not!!!<br><br>What made things even worse was the way I felt I was spoken to and made to feel responsible for the situation. Jo brought up several viewings that had supposedly been cancelled and other issues, which I felt were completely irrelevant to the fact that I had been told my offer was accepted, yet I was later given a completely different account of what had happened - if it even did?!<br><br>I felt that I was being made to feel like I was the problem, rather than receiving a clear explanation and accountability for what had happened from their end.<br><br>I have since spoken to a number of people and other estate agents and have heard similar complaints about Jo's manner and the way she has spoken to people. I can only speak from my own experience, but unfortunately my experience was enough to make me completely lose trust in Bridges.<br><br>Ultimately, I ended up losing £10,000 as a result of this situation.<br><br>I have told many of my family and friends about what happened, and I personally will never buy or sell a property through Bridges again.<br><br>And if you are a seller considering using Bridges, I would seriously ask yourself: what if this happened to you, or to one of your family members or friends? Would you be happy knowing that the same thing could potentially happen to them?<br><br>Buying or selling a home is a huge financial decision, and you should be able to trust the estate agent representing you to communicate offers properly and treat you with professionalism, honesty and respect.<br><br>Unfortunately, I did not feel that was the case here, and I would not recommend Bridges based on my experience.
