They helped us find tenants really quickly, and when external circumstances meant things got complicated, they went above and beyond both in time and resource to help support us and find us the perfect solution as quickly as possible. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a letting agent. They were responsive, available, logistically efficient, and good humoured. 17th Oct 2025 (8 mo. ago)Very disappointed, first they overvalued the property and told me in a matter of a fortnight I needed to reduce the price which I did, I then heard nothing for almost 2 months . Went to a different agent who sold the property within a week. When I looked at their marketing it was so much better and more professional than Bowyers. I do not like leaving negative reviews, however this reflects my experience with them.

3rd Jun 2026 (17 days ago)After meeting with a number of local estate agents to sell our property, we decided to go with Connells due to their confidence and positive attitude to not only getting the property on the market quick, but also in being able to showcase it to the right prospective buyers. This resulted in a number of viewings and offers. Even through the whole process, which included probate, the team were in contact to guide me through the sale and see it through to completion in approx 3 months. I'm actually surprised at how easy and straightforward it all was, and well within the time frame Harrison and Jack had suggested it would be. Would definitely recommend the team at Connells in Rayleigh.

15th May 2026 (5 weeks ago)I recently purchased a flat via Smooth Move and I have to say the service they provided was excellent, Lisa was amazing, she kept me up to date with all issues and progress, and was a massive help and support to me though the whole process. When she was off for a couple of days her workload was covered and I wasn't left to wait for a response, which was great. I recommend Smooth Moves if you are looking to sell/rent/buy a property ??????

From the initial valuation right through to completion, the entire team was professional, knowledgeable, and completely dedicated to getting the best result. What impressed me most was their communication. I was kept updated every step of the way, and they proactively managed the legal chain to ensure everything stayed on track and stress-free. 30th Mar 2026 (12 weeks ago)I called on Friday to view a property to rent in warley for Saturday afternoon, I called 2.5 hours before to confirm the booking which was fine apparently, so I drove over an hour out of London to go see the property. Then 1 hour before my appointment I was called to be told that the agent was running late and if I’d be able to push my appointment back by one hour. Annoying, but fine so went and had a coffee in town, then drove back to the property and just 7 minutes before my appointment I was told that they’d no longer be able to show me the property today at all. I was absolutely furious but was assured I’d get a call first thing Monday to be shown around the property, surprise surprise no call at all. Extremely unprofessional and definitely wouldn’t recommend.
