They were always warm, friendly and supportive, making the whole process straightforward at what was an important and emotional time for our family. Particular thanks for dealing so effectively with the solicitors for both sides and eliminating what can otherwise be somewhat stressful.

From the very beginning, they were incredibly kind, positive and understanding - something that truly set them apart from what people often expect of estate agents. They approached everything with such sensitivity, recognising that this wasn’t just a sale, but something tied to a bereavement. Their support and thoughtful communication made a difficult process feel much more manageable. Their professionalism was equally impressive. The property was sold to the first viewers, which speaks volumes about their expertise, preparation and approach. I would wholeheartedly recommend Sam and Russell to anyone. They combine genuine compassion with outstanding results, a rare and invaluable combination.

Ellie Glass was my primary contact although everyone in the office was involved in some way or other.<br>The sale proved to be very difficult and protracted with many obstacles.<br>Throughout the sale Ellie was constantly in touch with calls or emails and worked exceptionally hard with the chain to help the sale along. I’m pretty sure that if not for the efforts of Ellie, Sam and the team I would still be waiting to move.<br>Thank you all very much.

16th Oct 2026 (16 days ago)Absolutely appalling experience. I would never rent through this agency again.<br>Our experience with this letting agency was extremely frustrating from start to finish. We were asked to return our keys before the end of our tenancy agreement, and things only got worse from there.<br>The agency demanded our entire deposit, which we found completely unreasonable. The inventory report was ridiculously petty, with photographs highlighting what appeared to be just TWO cat hairs. It honestly felt as though they were desperately looking for any excuse to justify keeping our money.<br>When we challenged their demands, we received phone calls and were invited to attend the agency in person for a face-to-face discussion. We wanted everything documented in writing, particularly when it involved our deposit. We were not comfortable discussing such an important financial matter without a proper written record.<br>The most disappointing part was their complete lack of transparency. We asked for evidence, invoices and receipts to justify the deductions they were demanding. Instead of providing the documentation requested, they simply stopped responding and disappeared. Apparently, demanding money is easy, but providing evidence to support those demands is another story.<br>The lack of professionalism, transparency and accountability was shocking. Tenants should not have to chase an agency for basic evidence when their hard-earned money is at stake.<br>My advice to anyone considering renting through this agency is to document absolutely everything, keep all communication in writing and take plenty of photographs. Do not assume that an agency will deal with you fairly or communicate properly when a dispute arises.<br>Based on our personal experience, I would absolutely not recommend this agency. A very disappointing experience that has completely destroyed our trust in them.

Selling a house can be stressful but at every stage we received guidance, support and clarity. No hesitation in recommending them to you in the highest possible terms

What impressed us most was that no matter who you spoke to on any given occasion, the whole team knew exactly what was happening, and they put a lot of effort into making sure everything went as smoothly as possible.<br><br>While we hope this is our forever home, we wouldn't hesitate to use them again if needed!

Then it went very quiet and I had to call to see if anything was happening and how the market was doing. Then a flurry of activity which led to an offer.

Their marketing is brilliant, local knowledge and experience invaluable and handling of viewings and potential buyers, second to none. Their advice has been spot on and their energy and responsive unwavering They have been all round brilliant and I would never use another agent again. I highly recommend them to anyone thinking of moving home

15th Oct 2026 (17 days ago)Selling your home and biggest asset is such a rollercoaster of emotions that it really helps to have estate agents who you can trust.<br><br>I found the Kingstons team at Melksham to be thoroughly professional, knowledgable, and realistic (but never pessimistic -even when I felt a bit frustrated) about the market. They also grasped my individual circumstances and what my priorities were in terms speed of sale, price and so on.<br><br>I had complete confidence in Charlotte conducting viewings, Izzy was always on the ball with updates and following up queries, and Callum helpfully stepped in to negotiate price.<br><br>Communication was consistently great. No matter who picked up the phone when I rang the branch, they were up to date on status of my property. And even though mine was a one-bed flat, I never felt 'bottom of the pile'.<br><br>I personally didn't fancy researching local conveyancing solicitors so also asked them for suggestions (which they gave without a hint of a sales pitch) and chose a firm they had worked with a lot and who also turned out to be great (albeit not the cheapest option, but my priority was less stress and valuing speed and efficiency)<br><br>Overall, an excellent service from a very approachable and effective team. Thank you.

18th Nov 2024 (1 year ago)Excellent communication, attention to detail and don't take on too many clients (unlike some other agents I considered) and so had the time to be thorough and do a great job, going above and beyond what I expected. Jules negotiated an unexpectedly good sale price for my house and, with the additional support of Nicola at the Whitfields office to progress the sale, really helped keep everything on track. Both buyer and seller are treated with respect and honesty and there is regular communication with both parties right through to completion.
