18th Apr 2026 (17 days ago)We looked at a few properties in the Wickford area & had the pleasure of being shown round by Caroline, she was fantastic with her knowledge of the properties & was very accomodating with time at the viewings, she understood our needs & when the property we are now in the process of buying came on the market she knew it would tick all the boxes we had. She went out of her way to ensure a viewing for us before a family trip to Scotland & she was right when saying it was right for us. The rest of the team in Wickford have been great as well but Caroline desrves all the credit for finding us our perfect home. Thanks again to all involved

Communication from Nest was top notch all the way through the sale, which at times was very frustrating due to sub par legal support....They remained very professional throughout with candid updates without the fluff. Everyone in the chain was kept up to date with cause of delay and next steps. My family have used them a few times now and cannot fault the dedication and service.....

22nd Apr 2026 (13 days ago)Overpromised, underdelivered... Did nothing other than put a poor listing up on rightmove. After advising them on a better way to do it, they didnt. The initial conversation made it sound like a guaranteed sale as they are the best agent... Also, didnt take listing down after telling them i wasnt happy and wanted it removed. This naturally has a negative impact on sale.
14th Apr 2026 (21 days ago)We haven't had to go through the nightmare of moving house for over forty years but we survived the emotional roller coaster this time round thanks to Stanton Hockett. Not easy for two eighty year olds I must admit who simply want to go live near their daughter up north! We approached the move with trepidation but their approach from the outset was totally re-assuring and empathetic. Tom started the ball rolling with his no fuss approach and we then graduated to the big guns, Brad & Gavin, after they found us a young couple to buy our treasured family home. They might have been a dating agency so suited to us were our young buyers. As apparently often occurs our journey through the legal processes to exchange and completion took us between peaks of elation to valleys of frustrated despair and back again but they were there to support us when we needed it. Thank you Tom and Lewis, thank you Gavin and most of all thank you Brad for your impeccable service to us in the sales progression stage. We are on our way now and feeling a whole lot better about our future.
27th Apr 2026 (8 days ago)I was recommended to Balgores Estate Agents, Wickford office by my friend Liz, and despite a hard long slog to sell my parents home I am greatful she did and I cannot fault the service that the Balgores team provided. The sale suffered several setbacks and numerous delays, all outside the control of Balgores, but despite this the team dusted themselves off every time and renewed their efforts. Special mention to both Ewan and Georgia for excellent communication and sheer bloody-minded perseverance getting us over the line. For professionalism and customer service I would highly recommend Balgores.
14th Apr 2026 (21 days ago)They sold a property (our next door) they left the signage right next to our car - it was clearly not installed properly - it fell over and damaged the paint on our car. We did speak to them and they passed us to the signage company - both companies are not happy to cover the cost of damages or provide insurance details for us to recoup our loss. They do not respond to our emails. Not very ethical company.

He kept me constantly updated on the mortgage details & rates. Helped with insurance policies, building and contents and also life insurance. Having someone like Aki helping really did help and reduce stress in the moving process. And he was always easily reachable! 10/10 service.
