19th Jun 2026 (8 days ago)For starters, if there were an option for 0 stars, Harry Harper Lettings would have earned it with flying colours.<br>Nothing quite says "welcome to your new home" like finding raw fish left in the freezer, eight full bin bags decorating the garden, and a mould-ridden bedroom that had clearly never seen treatment. It's a truly unique move-in experience.<br>Communication was equally impressive. If you've ever wanted to spend your time speaking to robots, being ignored altogether, or being passed between people who don't know the answer and have no intention of finding it, you're in luck. Customer service appears to be treated as more of a theoretical concept than an actual service.<br>The grand finale? Being charged £400 from our deposit when leaving, despite the condition the property was handed over in.<br>A letting agent's job is supposed to be managing properties and supporting tenants. Harry Harper Lettings seem to have interpreted this somewhat differently.<br>An amateur operation at best. The rental market deserves better, and tenants deserve their rights.

4th Jun 2026 (23 days ago)I have just bought a house using entwistle green. I dealt with Holly Newman, Andrew Gutzu and Lucia. They were all extremely helpful throughout the process from booking my initial appointment to view the property to chasing solicitors on both sides to keep me updated and overall giving me the information I needed. Would recommend them to anyone looking to buy their home and will definitely use them in the future if I look to buy or sell.

The owners and staff are genuinely approachable, respectful, and committed to providing an excellent service to their clients. Communication is always clear, and they maintain high standards in everything they do. It’s refreshing to work alongside a business that values both its customers and the people they work with. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy estate agent!

After being on the market with a different agency for two years with no success, Cardwells took over and completely transformed the process. From the initial valuation and marketing advice right through to completion, the entire team was professional, approachable, and incredibly proactive. A special thank you to Pam, who was fantastic at communicating with us every step of the way. Even when complications arose, she smoothed things out and liaised perfectly with our solicitors to get the deal over the line. They achieved a great sale price for our home and we highly recommend them to anyone looking to sell, especially if you've struggled elsewhere!

What really stood out was Lewis’s dedication and proactive approach. He consistently went above and beyond to make sure everything progressed efficiently, helping to reduce what can often be a stressful experience. His friendly manner and attention to detail made a real difference. The Reeds Rains team were also a pleasure to deal with, but Lewis’s support and commitment truly set him apart. Michael was helpful and informative throughout the process, from taking time out to accommodate a second viewing of the property to assisting with general property queries such as meter readings and stopcock locations as well being available late on a Friday afternoon for us to be able to collect the keys. Would recommend Leaders, Warrington.

Big thanks to Claire too for assisting with the sale in the final stages and getting it through to contracts exchanging. Would highly recomend!

I have just sold my house through them, and what felt like a never ending process (due to unforeseen circumstances), they kept me updated throughout so I was never left guessing or wondering what the next step was. Their communication is truly second to none. I would recommend them in a heartbeat to anyone looking to buy or sell.

1st Jun 2026 (26 days ago)??????Formerly Greenwood James and now under the Harrisons banner, the name may not be the same but the service certainly is.., and this is the reason we have been putting the new acquisitions for the portfolio with them for a few years now...?????????????????? Absolutely no regrets as the team are proactive, fair, and friendly too?? We are at ease when it comes to the portfolio they manage being managed properly... So a BiG Thank-You to Zoe Jackson (There are Two Zoe's) as she is our direct line and property manager, however the full team really are friendly and knowledgeable, so great to deal with..??????
18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

I never felt any hesitation in contacting them, and if I was to move back to the area Copelands would be my first choice, I have no doubt. Thank you for everything.

8th Jun 2026 (19 days ago)I wouldn't call it a positive experience. There was an apartment we wanted to rent, so we requested a viewing appointment. The agent arrived and let us into the apartment, but when we asked for details, she couldn't answer any of our questions. There was no proper tour or explanation of the property. It was obvious that she could hardly wait to leave. There was no professionalism at all. The whole experience felt awkward, and she wasn't helpful in the slightest. We told her what kind of property we were looking for and asked her to take down our details and contact us if any other rental apartments became available. She didn't seem interested at all—she just wanted us to leave as quickly as possible. No one has contacted us since then. I wouldn't call her a real estate agent. It was a terrible experience.

Chelsea, at Miller metcalfe tyldesley dealt with the sale, I found Chelsea to be professional but also very friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful if I got stuck with anything. She kept me informed with messages and phone calls as to the progress, and went above and beyond chasing things up. Overall, extremely happy with the service provided.
22nd Jun 2026 (5 days ago)The worst service ever, i have just rented a property from bentley hurst and i have faced the worst service ever i received the property in the most felthy way no one clean anything after the previous guest and they scam me by sending the inventory report before they handing me the key after i reported the cleaning situation they responded was wait and we will send the cleaner to clean the property i refused and left the key i asked them to clean the property and change the move in date , ofc i had to keep calling them as they haven’t updated me for 2 days , and tell now didn’t receive the key for my letter box or even an apology, they wont even deserve a 1 star review, pay more than 5k for this property and the guarantor and dealing with this now ,even though he building concierge mention he received to many complaints on this agency, you don’t wanna rent from this agency
30th May 2026 (28 days ago)Property sold after 3 days of listing and completion took place around 1 month later. Can't complain - Divan & Jack were amazing and kept me reassured the whole time. I'll be bringing Let Property another one of my on the next tax year. Highly recomended.
