11th May 2026 (12 weeks ago)We’re very grateful to Zoe for helping us finally get our purchase over the line after an extremely stressful seven month process, despite there being no chain involved. Zoe was persistent, proactive and supportive throughout, always chasing updates and keeping us informed even when communication from the sellers, NatWest, as well as their own solicitors, was extremely poor. We honestly don’t know how she managed to deal with them for so long, they were repeatedly unresponsive and very difficult to progress with. One thing we would say to anyone considering buying a repossession property is to think very carefully beforehand. The property remained on the market the entire time, our offer price was publicly displayed online, and viewings continued while we were already deep into the process. As first time buyers, this added a huge amount of unnecessary stress and uncertainty. Unfortunately, this was something Connells failed to make clear to us before we became financially involved with our solicitors and the purchase process. Despite all of that, the team at Connells were genuinely helpful and did what they could once they understood what we were dealing with. Zoe especially went above and beyond to finally get us into our home.

25th Jul 2026 (10 days ago)Although my husband and I sold through MG Towcester and bought through MG Newport Pagnell, I need to give a special mention to Harry who used to work at the Newport Pagnell office but now is at MK. Harry is quite simply excellent and extremely communicative. We had our eye on a particular house for a very long time but were unable to put an offer in due to having listed with a rubbish estate agent for about 5 months before we switched to MG. Harry kept in contact and gave us updates about the house we loved. Once we were in a position to put in an offer he negotiated extremely hard considering the sellers were quite set, however he pulled it off and we’re now sitting in our beautiful new home ??????<br><br>?????????? for Harry!!
20th Jul 2026 (15 days ago)Laura Dutton - is the lovely lady who has always been keeping in touch with me for anything that is happening to my property. she has also been so helpful thoughtful kind caring person to share if I have any problems with the property that I am renting at. Happy to listen to anything I may have concerns with even if it's something she can't or estate agents help with. but she always helps and advises with best positive feedback.<br>I have been living in this property for almost 10 years now I think! she always keeping me in the loop with anything like maintenance and offer only advice that she can if there is a problem with the property. I feel she does go above and beyond to maintaining tenants are all happy in the properties they are in. I appreciate how much she has been the only person keeping me in the loop with stuff because I dont always get to know what is going on before. So big thanks to Laura Dutton

23rd Jun 2026 (6 weeks ago)AVOID AT ALL COSTS.<br>Only leaving 1 star as unable to leave 0.<br>We have just purchased a property through Christopher pallet, Colin and Ross are both horrible people. They hound you every day with passive aggressive emails until completion, then once completed if you have any issues they are completely uninterested and ignore you.<br><br>When we had our survey done, it was picked up (among other things) that two of the windows in the property were not working correctly. This was raised when discussing a reduction in price. Ross informed us that the windows would be fixed by the owners before completion. His exacts words were “the owners are going to get the mechanisms fixed, so consider that done”. What a liar. We raised on day one when we entered the property that this had not been done. They have ignored us repeatedly on phone calls and emails, and have now replied saying they are not going to do anything to help this. I’d honestly rather not sell or purchase a property than give this morally corrupt “business” any commission. I will be making a formal complaint to the property ombudsman and seeking legal advice.<br><br>Edit<br><br>I’m sure the reader of this review can tell how condescending and passive aggressive Ross is just from his reply. ????????????

We took their advice to market the property at 'offers over' which worked very well.<br>The online marketing and brochure were good, helped by high quality photography including drone shots.<br>Their communication, speed of reply to messages and positive attitude made it easy to do business.<br>We'd happily recommend using Oakwood.
