Brices were always quick to address any issues, always responded to emails and calls and acted fairly and professionally as an intermediate between myself and the landlord. Because we couldn’t travel down for every minor detail we needed an estate agent we could implicitly trust.<br>Graham Farthing at Austin Gray was nothing short of amazing!! He was incredibly responsive 24/7 transparent and proactive. Finally an estate agent that actually listened to what we wanted and went above and beyond to assist us at every stage. Graham handled everything on the ground here in Brighton saving us countless stressful trips! Austin Grays knowledge of Brighton is second to none and Graham completely supported us from start to finish, always accommodating with our travel schedules for viewings and crucially kept in the loop at all times. A huge thank you to a true professional and gentleman. Our completion date was on our wedding anniversary!! The icing on the cake. ??????????????????

I have had the complication of being in Hertfordshire selling my sister's property in Brighton. This has been handled well so far .

16th Jul 2026 (18 days ago)Even though we’ve decided to take our house off the market for now and try again next year, I still wanted to leave a review because Oliver Ostler has been absolutely fantastic throughout the whole process.<br><br>Things didn’t go the way we’d hoped due to some poor advice elsewhere and things generally not going to plan, but having Ollie supporting us made a really stressful situation so much easier. He was always honest, reliable, and consistent, and he did exactly what he said he would do. If he said he’d call, he called, and he kept in touch regularly, which meant so much during such an uncertain time.<br><br>Nothing was ever too much trouble. He always took the time to answer our questions, explain everything clearly, and reassure us when we needed it. I never felt like just another client – he genuinely cared and always had our best interests at heart.<br><br>Although we’re putting our plans on hold until next year, when we’re ready to try again, he will be the first person we contact. Thank you so much for all your help, support, and professionalism. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend you to anyone looking for a mortgage advisor who truly goes above and beyond. 19th Jul 2026 (15 days ago)We recetly used Archers to sell a family Probate property which wasn't without its issues, all of which were dealt with calmly & professionally by David. He didn't " hound"" us once over the time it took to sort out the problems & was very reassuring & helpful throughout the long process. Personally I don't have any further reason for Polegate in my life going forward, but would highly recommend Archers Estate Agents to anyone who does!

18th Jun 2026 (7 weeks ago)Both Tania and Dan have been excellent finding a quick buyer and managing the chain and subsequent communication, following our previous purchaser pulling out at the last minute.<br><br>Given the sale was not straightforward - due in part to market and local factors and the total lapsed time to exchange, it would not have been a surprise if the branch got tired and heads dropped. That was not the case! The energy, focus and passion remained throughout process. And even when we experienced a few bumps in the road, they remained calm, professional and took ownership to resolve. Never avoiding our calls. Always taking accountability. They are an experienced lot. They know what they are doing.

20th Jul 2026 (14 days ago)Like many others, all they want is your signature on the agreement, they put it on rightmove etc and that's it. No one does any work anymore. Not even a call from them after going "live". Not recommended.

1st Aug 2026 (2 days ago)My experience with Jack Taggart & Co has been extremely disappointing. On 9 July 2026, after viewing a property, I was asked whether I could pay 6 months rent in advance to secure the property. As I wasn't able, he settled with me paying £3,900 which consisted of 1 month rent and deposit. I was later informed that the property would no longer be available. Despite being given several dates on which I was told my money would be refunded, the payments did not materialise, and I had to repeatedly chase for updates. I also requested details of the tenancy deposit protection scheme that I was told held my deposit, but I did not receive the information I requested. The delays caused significant financial stress and affected my ability to secure alternative accommodation. As I was unable to resolve the matter directly, I have now commenced a small claim to recover the money. This review reflects my personal experience.
