21st Oct 2026 (12 days ago)I entrusted Vicki and the team to sell my property in Higham’s Park after talking to three local agents. I chose Abode, as from the first meeting, I was struck by Vicki’s energy and enthusiasm. She really knows local market and had a clear strategy. She was able to secure an offer well in excess of the asking price, (which more than covered their fees), after only five weeks.<br>The sale was not straightforward due to my personal circumstances and the incompetence of my solicitors. However despite these setbacks, Vicki always remained positive with solutions at hand and was able to get the sale across the line. I would recommend Abode to anyone and would 100% use them again to sell a property.
20th Oct 2026 (13 days ago)Since May 2026 I have rented an apartment that is part of a large 1900s building. In summary from my 1st viewing, items that were going to be fixed prior to tenancy were never fixed. Lots of emails/photos communication but did not result in any action by Reed/ Landlord. Ongoing saga and my recommendation is to avoid as there are far better letting agents in the marketplace. The new rental laws from 1st May allow walking away with 2 months notice which is a great step forward.

They have been so thorough in helping us find somewhere and constantly providing us with options in our price range and requirements, they were also so accommodating with viewings and fitting us in around working hours etc!<br>Katy Tompkin has been an angel and helped us secure our rental property that will now become our first little home! We have just sold our flat and also bought our new house with them and Hannah has been so amazing throughout, always going above and beyond and even helping to entertain our 5 year old daughter at viewings! They have made a usually stressful process feel relatively stress free and we would definitely recommend them!

Stewart has such knowledge and expertise of the housing market and is so friendly, professional and approachable. Despite the difficult market/climate, Stewart did his upmost to get a good sale for us and we are so grateful that Estate Agents like him exist. I cannot recommend him highly enough!

Alex came round to view the property and was really helpful – explained the whole vetting process properly, gave me great advice, and went through the different options without any pressure. Rose was brilliant behind the scenes too, kept me updated on what I needed and always got back to me quickly whenever I had a question. Both of them made the whole thing feel straightforward and I felt comfortable dealing with them throughout. Would definitely recommend.
