21st May 2026 (23 days ago)We originally chose Melissa for our sale because she sold the house to us when we bought it 5 years ago, and we had such a positive experience as buyers that we felt confident she would do a great job for us as sellers too. Her valuation came in around £25k higher than two other local agents but this didn't feel like an enlarged number just to secure our business, we felt that she really understood the value of the property and this was proven correct as we agreed (and completed on) on a value that was £17k above that. It made it very clear to us that other local agents are pricing aggressively to get quick sales rather than the best value for their clients. Thankfully, Melissa was also the agent on the property we purchased and it just made for a very easy transaction. A huge thank you as well to Geraldine, who was brilliant throughout and handled the viewings (I think about 16+ in one day) perfectly. We’re incredibly grateful for all the effort from both Melissa and her team and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

From the valuation through to the potential sale they have been extremely attentive and efficient. Elliot Allen in particular has been enthusiastic and very pleasant to deal with. He valued the property and took great photographs which he showed us there and then and the draft brochure was with us by email the next day. The whole team deserve a mention for keeping in touch regarding viewings and particularly Claire for keeping us updated and talking us through the process. Suzanne and Tommy Miller

Thanks to Jo, we felt supported every step of the way. I’d highly recommend her to anyone looking to buy or sell a home.
10th Apr 2026 (9 weeks ago)Update, the email address you have provided has been ccd inbto many emails including the formal complaint. No response!! Asked for my keys back in November, it now March and it's still be ignored along with all my requests!! I have a complaint open as a landlord with TG, after they failed to carry out any work I have asked then to organise and failed to report and repair issue that were reported to them. I have not heard from TG since December, no reply to emails, no answering phone calls. I have no idea what is happening to my property and have asked for the keys back which has been ignored. My complaint is now well passed their timeframe to response. Over a month ago I was told I would have a response to my complaint by 4pm that day. At 4pm I was emailed to ask what my complaint even was, as they couldnt find it. Iwill be reporting them for breach the contract. See less

18th Nov 2025 (6 mo. ago)The team at Thomas Lardner made selling my dad's house after he passed away very easy with no problems whatsoever. It was a difficult time, but the professional and efficient staff at the Romiley office made the sale of the house so easy. From the moment I walked into the office, they were so helpful, they were always on hand for any questions and would reply to emails within minutes! If only all estate agents were like this. 10/10.- 13th Oct 2025 (7 mo. ago)Reduced it within a week of being on the market so just shows they got the valuation so wrong. Communication was very poor. Only had two viewings first I had to chase feedback. Never given feedback from the last viewing. When I gave notice I was emailed to say 3 viewings had taken place. They had not. We have changed estate agents as a result of poor service.

Although when I looked at cost, it was slightly more, the service we received far outweighed the money we paid. We changed to Wainwright's after using another estate agents and I don't regret it. Within a few weeks they had sold our house and the service was impeccable. Every member of staff was dedicated to selling our house. Don't hesitate to use Wainwright's estate agents. Thank you everyone at Wainwright's ??????
15th Dec 2025 (5 mo. ago)The services provided is so bad, one of their staff called talking so disrespectfully as though he is doing me a favour by selling house to me, the day we went to collect key after the sale fall through they attended to us so shabbily, I only went through with the sale because we already gone far...but this team is terrible

I had communication issues and delays with my own solicitors, other solicitors and other estate agents but never with Colleen at Eric Clarke. She was proactive, helpful and went above and beyond to keep me in the loop and give other members of the chain a nudge when needed. Would absolutely recommend to others!

19th Jan 2026 (21 weeks ago)I take no satisfaction in saying this is a very unprofessional disorganised outfit. I let my house out through them and initially seemed ok but soon turned out to be a nightmare. Phone calls and emails are very rarely returned or answered, the guy dealing with my house…Sam is off on a Monday so everything is put on hold until he returns and he remembers to get back to you. Payments frequently late without any reason or explanation and to top it all when tenants were moving out after having given notice they left it until a month before to re advertise it which resulted in my property standing empty for 6 weeks. I’ve since changed to a much more professional firm with whom I’m very happy. In the last two weeks I’ve sent an email and spoken to someone on the phone as i needed a tax statement for the year….you won’t be surprised to discover there’s nothing been forthcoming. Avoid like the plague.
