11th Sep 2025 (11 mo. ago)I arranged a viewing for the second of September and was asked to provide 3 months of bank statements and payslips, which I did straight away. The agent then asked me to pay a deposit, which I also paid. I was told I’d hear back once the landlord confirmed. Days passed with no updates. When I chased, the agent claimed he had emailed me, but no email ever arrived (even though I had received all his previous emails without issue). After further follow-ups, he admitted he may have sent it to the wrong person. Eventually, I was told there were “issues with the landlord” because the previous tenant hadn’t ended their contract and wanted to move back in. The only response offered was to refund my deposit no apology, no accountability, no alternative property. I got my money back, but the complete lack of professionalism and communication wasted 15 days of my time. Terry, if you are reading this, please understand how unacceptable this experience was. Future tenants deserve better than having their time and trust wasted.
1st May 2023 (3 years ago)Robinson Marsh initially proposed £748 of deposit deductions two months after we moved out after loads of chasing. We had to go through deposits protection scheme ‘MyDeposits’ who had 2 star reviews for always siding with agencies. Even with the biased protection scheme they lowered the deductions to £295 (saving us £453) despite not reviewing 90% of our evidence properly. They solely used the check-out inventory as evidence despite our entire argument being we submitted extra photos of stained carpets & other damages at check in which never got included. The agency deliberately used a different check-out company to the one who did the check-in and so when they did their check-out report they had none of our additional photos & check-in evidence.) Other problems included: - Agency illegally trying to kick us out with one month notice despite the contract saying two months had to be given. They eventually backtracked on this. - Agency not fixing any of the problems we asked them to fix in at check-in including blocked drains which they then went on to try and charge us for at check-out despite us putting up with one working sink all year. - Zero communication once moving out. Ignoring hundreds of calls and emails asking about our deposit. - Illegally the agency never actually put our deposit in the protection scheme and had to transfer them the money only post us moving out with lots of chasing.
5th Apr 2026 (19 weeks ago)I was planning to visit Mansion London Limited to discuss a high-end property I found on Zoopla (which was also featured in News Shopper). However, when I searched their 15 Stratton Street address to find directions for my visit, I discovered it appears to be a virtual office and mail-forwarding service rather than a dedicated physical brokerage. This red flag prompted me to do some standard due diligence, and I ultimately decided to walk away. I checked their publicly available Companies House records (Company No. 08294606), and their most recent filings show a business in heavy debt with significant negative retained earnings, zero physical assets on their balance sheet, and relying on bank loans and overdrafts. There is a very stark contrast between the elite, luxury image they project online and the actual financial health and physical presence of the corporate entity. For anyone looking to buy or sell luxury real estate, I highly recommend doing your own thorough background checks on the corporate entity before handing over any money, signing contracts, or trusting them with high-value assets.
28th Feb 2016 (10 years ago)I really like this place. I have been several times over the last few years and I have never had a bad experience. It's difficult to predict when it will be busy and whether you'd need to book a table - I've been on occasions when I'd expect it to be busy and it's been very quiet (and vice versa). The food is great, the staff are really friendly and it's reasonably priced. Well worth the visit.

25th Feb 2019 (7 years ago)We recently rented a property through Marcus Telford. Jas was great at setting up the viewing, and Aran has been great at getting everything sorted, offering to help where necessary, he even responded on the weekend when we transferred funds, resulting in peace of mind and not having to wait until the Monday to ensure it had arrived safely. He has been quick to respond (within a couple of hours, sometimes minutes) to questions, and never made us feel like any question was one too many. He made amendments to agreements in a very timely manner to ensure all was processed smooth and quickly and went above and beyond where possible.- This agent doesn't have any reviews

The flat wasn’t professionally cleaned as told prior, no inventory and trying to get in touch to resolve an issue seems impossible as your just passed to one person then the other with no solution. Really disheartening

We have found him to be a proactive communicator who is excellent at identifying and resolving issues efficiently. I have recommended their services to both friends and family, and I continue to highly recommend them to others.
9th Jul 2026 (5 weeks ago)I would strongly advise anyone to avoid this estate agent. From the very beginning, their communication was virtually non-existent, and despite being given multiple opportunities to improve, they consistently failed to deliver even the most basic level of customer service.<br><br>They showed a complete lack of respect for my time, with poor organisation, broken promises and an overall disregard for keeping clients informed. To make matters worse, the staff came across as incredibly rude, dismissive and arrogant throughout the process which didn’t even get far!<br><br>Having dealt with numerous estate agents over the past few years, I can honestly say this has been, without question, the worst experience I have ever had. Professionalism, communication, and customer care were all severely lacking. I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for a reliable or trustworthy estate agent. Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere.
