17th Aug 2026 (4 weeks ago)We have found Mill Hill to be abundant with professional, friendly, motivated estate agents. Our experiences of this agency have been the complete opposite. Whilst searching for a rental property, their charming agent couldn't have been colder or more disinterested in her approach towards us. This attitude began when trying to arrange a viewing date. Then at the viewing, when we asked if my 5yo son could desperately use the toilet, she looked at him as though he was something unpleasant and dismissively said no (I appreciate homeowners may be reluctant, but the total lack of compassion and understanding towards a young child was shocking). When we expressed our interest in the property, she gave a vague answer on the moving in date inconsistent with the online date advertised. When we stated we needed assurances on this deadline, she said with a deadpan stare "fair". When I heard nothing in the subsequent days regarding the position on the property, I called up and received another dismissive response of "not sure yet". At that point I lost interest in dealing with this agency again. On a previous phonecall with one of the team, when registering our initial interest and requirements, I was cutoff with the statement "we are only entertaining chain-free buyers". I was surprised that buyers such as ourselves, who were to become chain-free and looking for a permanent family home were treated this way (particularly in the current challenging market). Having now completed on our dream family home, I would not recommend this agent to prospective buyers.

16th Aug 2022 (4 years ago)Cannot recommend highly enough. To say Michael went above and beyond with what proved to be a more difficult sale would be an understatement. A consummate professional from start to finish he made the experience of selling our property as painless as possible in the circumstances and his communications were excellent. Would not hesitate to use again.
2nd Dec 2025 (9 mo. ago)Not the greatest experience. Edit: I’ve just seen the response from the business and they’ve actually lied (clearly got customers mixed up), this is not what happened and I’ve now changed my review to a 1 star. Would definitely not recommend, what a shocking service.
12th Dec 2019 (6 years ago)I had to urgently move apartments due to some safety issues. Jordan Walsh of Parkheath apartment helped me through the process. He was very patient, professional and responsive to my comments. He did a fantastic job! Once I decided on the property, it was very easy to sign up for the lease and the backend office people were also very customer focused. I cannot recommend Jordan and Parkheath enough especially as I am new to the UK and had a safety challenge in my previous apartment so needed to move quickly. These guys are just amazing!

1st Aug 2023 (3 years ago)Real lack of transparency, always guessing what’s happening, I had to constantly email to find out information, not once did I have an email from them to me, the excuse I can’t give you information I don’t have and leave you hanging for ever untill they do is a very poor excuse, vetting of clients finances poor, the senior manager at Haart, should know the customer is key to there buisiness, I found the customer service from her to be poor, and felt a little intimidated into sticking with a client for 2 months knowing he couldn’t get a mortgage, and saying to me it’s not like you have a choice, you didn’t have any other offers so let’s just wait, it’s ultimately my decision if I have a choice or not, and it ended up being the biggest waste of my time, not even an apology, we’ll I’m sorry that’s just not good enough, so I ended my time with them and have now remarketed, I know there not responsible if a client can’t get a mortgage, but they are definitely responsible for clear transparency between themseves and there customer, which was clearly lacking, need to do better
28th Jul 2026 (7 weeks ago)Read Daniel Rose's terms of business very carefully before you sign anything. In my experience this is an expensive agency with fees buried in the small print. I sold my flat in 2025, yet Daniel Rose have continued to collect the rent and demand commission on money I no longer receive, for a property I no longer own. When I asked them to stop collecting the rent and close my account, they refused. They are also holding the tenants' deposit and would not agree to hand it over, and they responded to my requests with threats of solicitors and a court claim.<br><br>The whole arrangement is completely one-sided: their contract is written so they get paid whether or not they actually do anything, even after a sale. After nearly six years as a client I found them unwilling to engage reasonably or to treat me fairly. Instructing this agency is the fastest way to lose tenants. Avoid at all costs.

I let my property out with them for nearly 5 years, and I'm still waiting in January for the final month's rent to be paid back to me from the tenant leaving in mid-November last year. On top of that the tenant left the flat in a complete state and I'm yet to receive any deposit money back to compensate. Calls/emails to the agency are being ignored.

11th May 2026 (18 weeks ago)I have been living in a property managed by Crewys Limited for over 3 months now and honestly it has been one of the best renting experiences I have had so far. The room is amazing and whenever there is any issue in the house we just message in the group chat and it gets sorted quickly. No chasing. What really surprised me though is the weekly communal cleaning, in all the houses I have lived in I have never seen any agency do that and it makes such a big difference when you are living with others. I got the bad gas hob, they replaced the new one within a month. They also maintain the garden from time to time which again is something you do not usually see with most agencies. It is clear they actually care about their properties and the people living in them and the whole experience has been smooth and stress free since day one. If you are looking for a letting agency that is responsive and genuinely looks after their tenants then I would definitely recommend Crewys Limited.

Throughout this time I have purchased properties with their support and they support me with my rentals. Phil and Paul have been excellent committed professionals for the duration of the time I have worked alongside them and communication has always been excellent. Cousins are reliable and pleasant and I would recommend to anyone looking to purchase a property or be supported with a rental. Darren DPG Electrical
1st May 2026 (20 weeks ago)Do not use this agency. I had the worst experience a few years ago when they tried to keep the whole flats deposit and called the police when I tried to talk to them. I took on a case with the London Renters Union against them eventually and managed to settle the dispute through negotiations. Sad to see they are still just as bad! Avoid!

29th May 2025 (1 year ago)I honestly don’t even know where to begin with how awful my experience with IDM Properties was. From start to finish, it was a complete disaster. First off, the communication was appalling. Emails from Sascha and Cristina were incredibly rude and unprofessional. Instead of offering assistance or addressing concerns, their responses were dismissive and condescending. They made me feel like I was a nuisance for even reaching out. What’s worse, they take absolutely no accountability when they make mistakes and never apologise. I have had numerous situations where they’ve done something wrong—whether it was a missed repair, inaccurate report, or even lying about basic details—but not once did they own up to it. They simply brush it off and act as if it’s not their problem. The renewal process was another nightmare. I reached out 6 weeks before the end of our first tenancy to ask about renewing the contract and the new terms. I was told "You will hear about it 8 weeks before the end of your tenancy." So, I waited and waited, but we didn’t hear anything for two months after our tenancy had officially ended. And then, when they finally did get in touch, they rushed us into making a decision almost immediately, with no regard for the time we’d been left hanging. Then there’s the issue of repairs. If you want anything fixed, be prepared for an agonising wait. In the middle of winter, it took them 5 weeks to fix the heater. 5 weeks without proper heating during one of the coldest months. The balcony door took 3 weeks and several visits before it was finally ‘repaired’ – but not fully fixed because that required another part that we never heard back about. The washing machine? 5 weeks to replace it. And the dishwasher? 4 weeks. It was always the same. They require multiple pictures and video from different angles before they believe there is a problem and then nothing ever got done on time. You are made to feel you are in the wrong for chasing. One of the most infuriating parts of this experience was how they lied about things. For example, during a mid-tenancy inspection, they claimed we had bikes and suitcases in the hallway. This was absolutely untrue, so we disputed it. Cristina’s response? "It’s in the report, so it has to stay." We insisted that neither of us owns a bike, and only then did she grudgingly remove the bike from the report, but she still insisted the suitcases had to stay on the list, even though we didn’t have any! It was clear they were just making things up to try and pin blame on us. Another example of their dishonesty: I asked Cristina if I could have the code for the building door in case I ever forgot my access fob and to let my dogwalker in. She told me that the code had been disabled and was no longer in use (even though I had seen people using the code!!!). But then, one day, I had a large delivery left at my door, and to my surprise, the code was written on the box! It was clear they had lied to me about something as simple as that. As if that wasn’t bad enough, the property itself was in terrible condition. There were issues with plumbing, the drains flow upwards (I was actually told this by a plumber!) so we had to use plughole unblocker monthly to stop the shower and sinks overflowing. The toilets flush into each other, the extractor fan just goes into the ceiling (this is another repair story that took over a year to fix). At the end of our tenancy, they tried to deduct £550 from our deposit. We challenged this through the Deposit Protection Scheme and eventually got all but £102 of our deposit back. Do yourself a favour and avoid IDM Lettings at all costs. Their incompetence, dishonesty, lack of professionalism, incredibly rude communication from Sascha and Cristina, and shocking delays with repairs and contract renewals have made this the worst renting experience I’ve ever had. And don’t expect any accountability or apologies from them—they simply don’t care. Avoid them if you value your time, money, and sanity. One star is over generous.
8th Aug 2026 (6 weeks ago)I would select minus zero stars if that were an option.<br>My experience with this property and the people responsible for managing it was extremely disturbing. I experienced serious concerns regarding privacy, security, access to my accommodation, and the treatment of tenants. I also raised concerns about behaviour that I considered completely unacceptable, and I found the responses from those responsible deeply unsatisfactory.<br>I have personally encountered issues that left me feeling unsafe and unable to trust that my accommodation and belongings were being properly respected. I also have concerns about the way tenant information, mail and personal privacy were handled.<br>There were also serious disputes concerning the condition and management of the properties and the handling of deposits. I have retained documentation relating to my experiences and have reported matters to the appropriate authorities where I believed it was necessary.<br>What makes this particularly frustrating is the apparent lack of accountability. In my experience, complaints were not dealt with in a way that gave me any confidence that tenants' legitimate concerns were being taken seriously.<br>I strongly recommend that anyone considering renting through these people carries out extensive independent checks, gets everything in writing, documents the condition of the property, and keeps records of every interaction. Based on my own experience, I would not recommend them.<br>Do your due diligence before handing over money or personal information.

He takes a wonderfully modern approach to property in how he markets, communicates and treats buyers/sellers. We always knew exactly where we stood thanks to his quick and transparent responses. We were in near constant collaboration in everything from deciding listing price and sales strategy to scheduling viewings and surveys. We’ve gone to him for advice on our onward purchase which he provided gladly even though he isn’t the listing agent. He is who you want to work with, and he’s assembling a great team (ie Piers) to support him.
