11th Jun 2026 (8 days ago)My experience with Barnard Marcus estate agents is with their lettings department in finchley N12.<br>Having a number of properties in North Finchley I have been dealing with their lettings manager for the past 7 or 8 years.<br>What I like is the strong understanding and relationship with the same person for the whole timep. The lettings manager Linas to be very understanding of my requirements and very personable to deal with and I find him to be very efficient in his job.<br>All the rentals which I have given to Linas he has obtained good quality tenants within aabout two days and most recently within half a day.

We worked with Andrew several years ago when we first bought the apartment, and we were so impressed with the effort he went to - we suspect our purchase would have fallen through if it wasn't for him and the work he put into resolving issues. We knew we wanted to work with Andrew again when we eventually sold the apartment, and he delivered! Andrew made the sale process as stress free as possible, and was always available on whatsapp to answer our questions and keep us updated. Paul Vincent was very quick to respond to calls and emails, and provided me with all the information I asked for. Josh was also great for showing me around the property whenever I requested it and for giving me information during the viewing, while allowing me the freedom to browse as long as I needed.

After probate was granted, the sale progressed smoothly and quickly from start to finish. Miira undertook additional tasks for us such as vacant property insurance inspection visits which minimised our need to travel to the property. The sale completed within 4 months of going to market. Highly recommend!
5th Jun 2026 (14 days ago)My fiancée and I have recently purchased our first house through Durden & Hunt, and I can honestly say that Olivia was the reason we ended up buying the property. After months of dealing with various estate agents, Olivia was the first person who genuinely took the time to understand what we were looking for. In fact, she called me after the office had closed one evening to talk through our requirements, understand our situation and discuss a property she thought would be a great fit. No other agent we dealt with went to those lengths. From that point onwards, Olivia was absolutely fantastic. She was proactive, knowledgeable, responsive and, most importantly, she genuinely cared about getting the transaction over the line. Throughout what turned out to be a lengthy conveyancing process, she kept us informed, chased when needed, coordinated between solicitors and estate agents, and regularly went above and beyond to make sure things kept moving. What stood out most was her persistence and communication. Whenever there was an update, she would pick up the phone. Whenever something needed chasing, she was already on it. At times it genuinely felt like she was as invested in the move as we were. Buying a house can be stressful, especially as first-time buyers moving up the ladder, but Olivia made the process far easier than it otherwise would have been. We honestly do not think we would be moving into our new home without her help, support and determination. A huge thank you to Olivia and the team at Durden & Hunt. Incredibly communicative, competitive fees and they got us our asking price for our flat. In every way, they exceeded expectations and I would confidently recommend anyone to use them for sale or purchasing.
