30th Oct 2026 (4 days ago)We honestly cannot speak highly enough of John D Wood in Southfields, and in particular Jack and Chris, who were absolutely outstanding throughout our house purchase.<br><br>From the very beginning, they went above and beyond what we could ever have expected. Their communication was consistently excellent, they were always available, incredibly proactive and kept us fully informed at every stage. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and whenever something needed chasing, resolving or simply a bit of extra attention, they were straight on it.<br><br>The level of service was truly second to none. They are a real credit to John D Wood, and we would go as far as saying they are by far the best estate agents in Southfields.<br><br>We couldn’t be happier in our new home or with our experience. We would recommend Jack, Chris and the wider team at John D Wood without a moment’s hesitation. If you’re buying or selling in Southfields, look no further. Thank you both for everything!
30th Oct 2026 (4 days ago)I thought through this very carefully before making this post, as I don't tend to provide an extreme negative comment without a good, justifiable reason. However, I felt that I can no longer bite my tongue, and I have to express how bad this estate agent is.<br><br>It is important that I pinpoint the specific service they provide. For the letting and sales teams, I do think they are professional. They have been proactive in engaging with me and offered a professional service. However, when it comes to property management, I could not advise enough to NOT EVER use this agency. The property management team is one of the worst I've experienced as a landlord for many years. The team is extremely unprofessional and unresponsive, providing empty promises after empty promises. They have poorly managed my property and the tenant. The property manager assigned to me was unethical. The whole team does not protect the landlord's interests or act in the best interests of the landlord. They can't even provide basic communication when necessary. They recognised the tenant may not be the best choice of tenant. However, the property manager covered the damages the tenant had inflicted on the property. He/She was dishonest, unprofessional, and uncommunicative, and provided one of the worst customer experiences I have come across.<br><br>I have escalated to the head of the department, but nothing has been done to improve the service. The toxicity comes from the top down and filters across the team. When another property manager was subsequently assigned, the lack of communication continued. There was a complete lack of accountability from the top down, and it's simply extremely disappointing.<br><br>For any landlord in the neighbourhood, I can only sincerely advise you to stay away from this agency for their property management service.<br><br>LATEST UPDATE: When they saw my review, one the staff reached out to me in a threathening tone requesting to remove this review and suggesed that I should pass the work to another agency when they were the one ultimately responsible for.
14th Oct 2026 (20 days ago)What can I say to truly convey my positivity and trust towards the team at the Caterham Branch in their true value - All the team have been polite/helpful, proactive and no task is too much for them.<br>We put our house on the market in Chaldon, at what proved to be a very tricky market this summer. The branch manager, Daniel was very honest in his valuation initially. We tried the higher value but despite their best efforts in marketing fully for us, we had no joy. Following a price reduction suggested by us, the team stepped up the marketing again, re-listed to potential purchasers and immediately updated the websites. Here we are, 9 viewings later and now under offer, chain complete, our purchase confirmed and solicitors in touch. Fingers crossed this will progress to completion now, I have faith in the team.<br>Special mentions to Kristine and the lovely Lily-Mae and of course, Daniel for his patience and superior experience of property sales in the area.<br>Highly recommend if you are thinking of marketing your property in Chaldon or the local area!

Wow , on top of that they are liars. After my response to look unedited photos you never came back to me and now falsely accusing me of “ abusive email” what a bunch of liars
5th Oct 2026 (29 days ago)Kim and Louise were great, they kept us well informed about the sale and any problems that occurred, they worked with us all through the sale, although they didn't manage to sell the land , due to certain issues, they guided us to their partners who auctioned it off for me, i would definitely use them again thank you both

They are incredibly attentive, and made you feel as a customer that they can be relied upon to provide a first class class service at all times. Their fees are very competitive, and with the benefit of hindsight, I made the best possible choice to manage selling and also buying of the properties concerned.<br><br>Top draw stuff ??????????????

She and her team were committed, dynamic and enthusiastic and made us feel they really cared about their work and their clients. Highly recommend

Jack and Max were incredibly prompt: we contacted them and had a viewing arranged within the same day. All communication, by phone and email, was professional, clear and friendly throughout.<br><br>It was a pleasure working with them, and we'd happily use them again. Highly recommended!

Refused to answer any questions relevant to enable purchase to proceed after paying for property survey. Thank you John & all at S & C ??????
22nd Jan 2026 (9 mo. ago)The whole team at Arkwright’s in Saffron Walden have been a joy to work with. From initial contact, to the sales details - including a very inventive video, made on the only rainy day for weeks and weeks with a ‘Singing in the rain’ sound track! l had several viewings in the first week and an agreed sale within around 2 weeks ( after having been with another agent for 4 months with no viewings at all) The whole process has been easy, efficient, profession, respectful and friendly. I would highly recommend them and especially if you have a slightly quirky property. Thanks to all.

From my own personal experience, I have found Jake to be excellent.<br><br>I trust Jake to manage my property; I find him very knowledgeable about the market and he is on the ball with legislation. They had kept everyone informed and calm, and giving the impression nothing has been too much bother. We definitely would not have got to this point without their support and assistance from the valuation originally right through to completion. Thank you for your consideration, compassion, and expertise at every step.

It however got a bit problematic with the deeds and it was an extremely stressful time for them with buyers and sellers putting pressure on.<br>Garry was exceptional !!!!<br>Then voice of reason, pulling the right strings at the right time and managing my parents with patience and understanding.<br>He also kept me updated which he didn’t have to do but meant I could help my parents along the way.<br>Well done and thank you for ‘knowing your customer and having emotional intelligence’

She was reassuring and resourceful and I was so grateful for her in what was a stressful and difficult process dealing with sellers' solicitors and all the usual stresses that go along with that. We had a poor experience with a previous agent so this made our experience with Fox and Sons extremely welcome.
