30th Apr 2026 (7 weeks ago)We would like to offer our heartfelt thanks to the Hamptons teams (Sevenoaks and Blackheath) for managing the sale of our five bedroom property in Chislehurst. Hamptons marketing to potential purchasers resulted in a regular viewings by worthy parties. In addition, the communications we received before and after each viewing was much appreciated so that we always felt appraised of the interest in our property. In the lead up to exchange of contracts and then sale completion, Hamptons played very helpful role to liaise with our purchasers. This enabled a smooth and amicable path to completion. For their professionalism, knowledge of the market, attention to detail, regular advice & guidance and first rate communications, we would recommend Hamptons without reservation.

8th Jun 2026 (13 days ago)After spending six months on the market with another agent, I noticed the difference Wards offers from my first meeting with Mark. From his initial valuation visit, he gave me confidence in the price and that my flat would sell quickly with Wards. I felt the same confidence when I met Darren and Ollie. The whole team is straightforward, experienced, and very pleasant to deal with. They know the town and understand the buyers and I think having an office on Hythe High Street makes a big difference. I always felt my flat was more likely to appeal as a weekend home, and Wards found exactly that buyer within a couple of weeks of marketing it. This says a lot considering the previous agent didn’t produce an offer in six months. Once the offer was agreed, Amanda handled the progression well. She kept things moving, dealt directly with the solicitors, and was always helpful when I needed an update. That took a good amount of stress out of the process. Everyone I dealt with was approachable, professional and easy to get hold of, and the whole process felt personal and attentive rather than transactional. I would recommend Wards as first choice to anyone looking to sell or buy a property in Hythe.
7th Jun 2026 (14 days ago)? 1 Star My experience with Moving Places was extremely frustrating and left me with very little confidence in their professionalism or transparency. I raised multiple legitimate concerns regarding tenancy agreements, council tax liability, deposit protection, personal data being shared with other tenants, occupancy records, and inconsistencies between contracts. Instead of receiving clear written answers, I was repeatedly asked to come into the office despite specifically explaining that I needed written responses due to language difficulties. What concerned me most was the way the situation was handled when I continued asking questions. Rather than addressing the issues raised, the conversation repeatedly shifted towards warnings about potential breaches on my side and possible penalties. It felt less like an attempt to resolve problems and more like an attempt to discourage further scrutiny. Weeks passed without proper answers to many of the questions raised. Important concerns about contracts, council tax arrangements, and occupancy details were never fully addressed. When a translator assisted me with correspondence because of language barriers, Moving Places responded by suggesting my email may have been hacked and stated they would no longer reply, rather than answering the outstanding questions. I cannot say whether Moving Places were responsible for all of the issues surrounding the property, but I can say that when concerns were raised, they showed very little willingness to investigate them thoroughly or provide transparent explanations. If you are a tenant who values clear communication, accountability, and straightforward answers when problems arise, my experience suggests you should proceed with caution.

I’ve been speaking weekly to Susie and her team for nearly 18 months, pushing on a relatives property sale, through probate to completion. Everyone in the office is always jolly, informative and reassuring despite how frazzled in the process you feel. Susie was even able to push forward another relatives property sale when it got stuck. We are extremely grateful to have had such consistently excellent care and guidance from start to finish. These agents are knowledgable, professional and very friendly and would 1000% recommend to anyone wanting to buy or sell a property through them. Sincerest thanks to you all XXX
18th Jun 2026 (3 days ago)Unfortunately I can't recommend Belvoir. After an impressive initial presentation on how they would market my property, communication dropped off sharply once I signed the contract. I had to email them multiple times whenever I wanted an update or needed to chase an action from their end. When I received an offer I considered too low and rejected it, the branch manager rolled her eyes at me - an unacceptable way to treat a client. The due diligence on proof of funds was also poorly handled. I was told funds were available, then that they were in Russia, then that they had been in the UK all along. I'm still not sure whether this was incompetence or a cover-up. From offer acceptance to exchange and completion took six months, and progress only happened when I threatened to pull the sale and move to another agent. I can see that Belvoir has received many positive reviews, and I'm glad others have had good experiences. This has simply not been mine as a vendor. I have no doubt Belvoir will have their own response to this - but it is my honest account.

Jesse Cheema was professional, friendly, and always willing to help throughout the process. She kept us informed at every stage, and responded promptly to any questions, which made everything as smooth and stress free as possible - especially being first time buyers. And a special shout-out to Anne (sorry don't know last name), who made the property viewing genuinely enjoyable. She was welcoming, knowledgeable, and brought a positive energy.

During that time, they have helped us sell the same property on three separate occasions as circumstances changed and transactions fell through for reasons outside anyone's control. Buying and selling a home can be a stressful and emotional process, but the team at Romans have been fantastic throughout. They have always been transparent, honest, responsive, and incredibly accommodating. Communication has been excellent, and they have consistently kept us informed and supported at every stage of the journey. What stands out most is their professionalism and commitment to their clients.
