19th Aug 2026 (11 weeks ago)Had an overall good experience with Galloways. The team was friendly, responsive and supported me through each step of the process. Some pressure was applied towards the end but overall I was happy to be supported by a smaller team and local agency to West Norwood.
4th Oct 2026 (30 days ago)Extremely disappointing experience with Samuel Estates – Colliers Wood<br><br>I rented a property through Samuel Estates, with Jade as our property manager. At the beginning of the tenancy, she came across as very friendly and helpful. However, when it came to the termination of our tenancy, it became extremely difficult to get in touch with her. Calls were often answered by different members of staff, and getting a clear response or resolution became incredibly frustrating.<br><br>The property itself was in a very poor condition. We were paying a significant amount of rent for what was, in my experience, a substandard property, including issues with mice and holes in the flat. For the amount of money we were paying, the overall standard was simply unacceptable.<br><br>The biggest issue came at the end of the tenancy when there was a dispute over our deposit. The agency initially refused to return our deposit, and we had to take the matter through TDS (Tenancy Deposit Scheme) to fight for what we believed we were entitled to. We eventually managed to recover the deposit through the dispute process.<br><br>Overall, this was a very frustrating and disappointing experience. Based on my personal experience, I would strongly advise prospective tenants to do thorough research before renting through Samuel Estates, particularly regarding the condition of the property, communication during the tenancy, and how the deposit will be handled at the end.<br><br>I would not personally use this letting agency again.

He has been incredibly helpful and supportive throughout the whole process, right from the very beginning.<br><br>Arun has always been quick to communicate, clear in his explanations and genuinely personable. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and he was always on hand to answer questions and keep me updated.<br><br>A real credit to Romans!??????

We had a lot of challenges which they helped with so kindly and professionally. We also needed to view the property on multiple occasions and it was never too much bother for them. The whole team were involved at various times and the communication from them was excellent. The anxiety that we all experience at these times disappeared and the process was actually enjoyable! We would like to particularly acknowledge Ollie Bean, whose enthusiasm and attention to detail was outstanding. 21st Sep 2026 (6 weeks ago)Scott, Jackie and the rest of the team were great throughout the house buying process.<br>Scott handled the negotiations very professionally and brokered the deal so that the buyer (us) and the seller could make the deal happen that both were happy with. Always available when you needed them and on top of things with the right follow ups. I would work with them when I need to sell or buy a property.

Jason , Millie , Sarah made me feel welcome and not just a number.<br>They made an appointment to view my property and soon came back with a draft of potential expectancies. Within no time at all I had viewings and a tenant. I couldn’t ask for a better service.<br>I was kept up to date with progress and everything went smoothly. Don’t expect classy offices with huge windows stuffed with classy homes for sale, but when you open the door, those staff are really classy. They know their stuff, their marketing attracts viewers, they follow up with excellent communication, they solve problems that buyers may have, and most important of all, they get offers that are acceptable but they don’t stop there. They undertake due diligence to make sure they get the best deal possible for the vendor.Dee and David were an excellent team - hard working, professional, great negotiators, and really lovelh people to work with. But they don’t stop work when the offer is accepted, contracts exchanged, and they are still supportive on completion. Whoops, buyer wants to bring completion forward by a few months just after I moved.Help Dee, who can clean my house and remove the picture hooks? No problam for Dee. She harnassed a team and I left a sparki g house for the buyers!!
