29th May 2026 (16 days ago)Our house had been on the market for a number of months with another agent before I did some further research and decided to go with Avenue Estates. With the previous estate agent, we often felt like just another number on their books. Viewings were very slow, and we didn’t feel we received well-rounded or particularly helpful feedback afterwards. After several months, I decided to look for another agent. Our experience with Dominic from Avenue Estates was completely different. His communication was consistently excellent, and he kept us updated throughout the entire process. He secured a much steadier flow of viewings and was always thoughtful with timings, understanding that we had young children and were often working from home. He would send feedback almost immediately after each viewing, and it was always exceptionally thorough, which we really appreciated. Towards the end of the process, there were a number of issues involving the sellers’ solicitors, but Dominic maintained excellent communication between ourselves, the buyers, the sellers, and the solicitors. He made what could have been a very stressful situation feel far more manageable. I’ve already recommended Dominic to others I know who are planning to sell, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him again.

From the outset we had a great deal of confidence in Jenny with her wealth of experience. She gave us excellent advice and was always available to explain the situation and ways forward. Jenny came out to the care home when it was needed which was much appreciated. She was always thoughtful, supportive and kind. David also worked very hard to ensure the sale went through as soon as possible and kept us updated right through until completion. We are grateful to Connells for achieving a great result for us. Top marks ??????

For the personal touch, peace of mind and confidence I would highly recommend Nik Davey at Martin & co to look after your letting properties. They’re both incredibly efficient and always quick to answer any questions — nothing is ever too silly, and they always take the time to listen and respond properly. Sigita has been my property manager for a couple of years now — both at my previous home and my new one — and she’s genuinely been amazing. She’s friendly, supportive, and always there to help with anything I’ve needed along the way.

She was really easy to talk to, friendly, and made everything feel very straightforward and stress-free. Abi explained everything clearly and took the time to answer all of my questions, which I really appreciated. She also helped point us in the right direction when it came to finding a mortgage advisor, which was incredibly helpful. Overall, she was extremely knowledgeable, approachable, and supportive, and I couldn’t recommend her enough ??????

30th May 2026 (15 days ago)I don't understand why you phoned me and took all my information, only to still ask me to call you to book a viewing because you can't be bothered to check your emails. I specifically told you to auto-book me for a viewing if a property becomes available. Within five minutes of me getting a notification about a property, it's already gone. It seems like viewings were pre-booked. Also, I can see that you reported this as a fake review to Google. You have no shame in lying. You must be dreaming if you think this review will disappear.

We were faced with far too many complications and issues along the way but they dealt with all of these with professionalism, a sense of urgency (as very much needed) great communication skills and actually a sense of humour. I am so pleased I chose to sell through Cook residential and thank each and every person in the team especially Zak and Corinne but most importantly Emma - without her the whole process could have been a very different experience. Thank you Cook team, I could not recommend you enough.
4th Jun 2026 (10 days ago)Peggs found one viewer for my home in the 14 weeks I was under contract. They only contacted me once in that time after about 6 weeks, to persuade me to drop the price. I never once received any properties from them, being marketed to me for my new requirements, and so it led me to wonder if they relied solely upon RightMove etc for leads. The original proposed price was their suggestion, not mine. Yes, the market has been largely flat for period apartments like mine, but there was nothing that gave confidence in their marketing and this included the very young inappropriately dressed person they sent to accompany my only viewing. It us difficult to recommend Peggs although the lady lister who initially came to my home was pleasant, knowledgeable and gave me hope. I wrongly assumed she might be managing everything to do with getting interest in my home. I don't how some of the questions as the opportunity to test out knowledge and value did not arise.
