4th Sep 2026 (10 days ago)I enquired with them about selling my house. I decided against using them and despite telling them this, they have repeatedly rang me. I have told them 5 times now that I’m not interested in their services. Each time they tell me they will update the system but a week later I get another phone call! It’s disrespectful and insanely annoying at this point. Even as i’m on the phone telling them “i’ve already decided and i’m not interested” they’re still very pushy and trying to book me in for a valuation. I would appreciate a less intense and forceful approach as even if I now decided against my current estate agent, this whole experience has made it certain that I wouldn’t pick Connells.

26th Aug 2026 (19 days ago)Put my mom’s property on the market with Connells.. BIG MISTAKE!!<br>No communication whatsoever so ever we had to find everything from other estate agents. Was told be Connells to move my mom out of her home to stop sale falling through only then to find out that the person at the bottom of the chain their mortgage offer had ended. Was fobbed off by Connells every time I spoke to them. They wouldn’t answer the phone so I had to go in to the branch. If it wasn’t for the estate agents dealing with the purchase of my mom’s new property we wouldn’t have known what was going on. Shameful behaviour. AVOID AT ALL COST!!

Everyone was kind realistic and honest .our dream home came back on the market at the 11th hour so our search ceased. But shipways were exceptional calling to see if we needed any help in looking finance advice etc. it was much appreciated. Everyone there Was kind pro active and approachable. - 4th Sep 2026 (10 days ago)Dixons is definitely a capable estate agent with good expertise in this field.<br><br>To be honest, my initial experience with Dixons wasn’t very impressive. I had more or less given up and was simply waiting for my fixed-term contract to expire so that I could appoint another agent. Looking back, I think it may have been more down to how my sale was being managed at the time, as I didn’t feel that my expectations and concerns were fully understood.<br><br>Coincidentally, I spoke to Sarah Blair about my experience and how dissatisfied I was. She was genuinely surprised and very keen to put things right for me. She made a very valid point that she didn’t know I was unhappy, and if I didn’t raise my concerns, how would they know?<br><br>Once Sarah took over responsibility for my sale, she really made an effort to turn things around. She looked at everything, from the pricing to the listing, and within just a few days we had received three offers. She went the extra mile to maximise the offers and achieve the best possible result for me.<br><br>Throughout the whole process, Sarah kept me constantly informed, which was important to me. She discussed everything with me, gave me good advice and was always very helpful, professional and approachable, and she always returned my call quickly.<br><br>Although I definitely feel I started off on the wrong foot with Dixons, my experience changed completely once I raised my concerns and Sarah became involved. I would happily use Dixons again in the future, particularly if I could have someone like Sarah looking after my property.<br><br>Thank you, Sarah, for turning my experience around and for all your hard work.

The staff were very friendly and helped with any queries I had, whilst keeping me up to date with the process and what was required. I really recommend them :)

Ben and his team were brilliant from start to finish - helpful with queries that I had - very efficient- and provided exactly the professional service that I required. Would highly recommend to anyone in the area needing a letting service.

She's a 5/5 stars worker and you'll definitely be happy working with her.<br><br>After you've moved in however, don't expect any emails back or responses. It took us nearly 8 weeks just so we could have the gas cooker turned on.... The 2 stars I gave were mostly for Becky, but she doesn't handle maintenance. 4th Mar 2026 (6 mo. ago)I had mixed personal reviews prior to my contacting Dourish and Day but I will NOT using them to sell my property as I'm appalled at the "it's not my job" attitude. I will be contacting the estate agency that sold my parents bungalow as they were proactive and cheaper fees! They refused to let myself, or my property agency, know the date/times of Dourish and Day availability for a valuation so an appointment could be arranged with my tenant. They also refused to make ONE phone call and contact the tenant directly as Dourish and Day had misunderstood what my tenant had said upon initial contact. My agent informed me that they have tried making contact but are awaiting a response from Dourish and Day which Dourish and Day have denied. When I requested an update this is the response "We will not move forward until they call us with the tenants availability for us to attend as it is their responsibility to clear things with them."
